Probably the best motel in the area for the money.
I’ve been lucky to catch a good price for stay and for that money it’s a bomb (especially when compared to Seattle-Tacoma area). You, guys, doing good.
Stuff was super friendly and helpful. BREAKFAST (I almost forgot about breakfasts in motels since covid time) is very good and pretty various. Parking is pretty big, without garbage people here. Room is neither modern nor outdated. Just a regular but clean and bed is comfy. Microwave, fridge, TV and A/C works well. Maybe I am lucky today but will definitely come back when needed.

Clean, soft new bedding and ground keeping is so beautiful. High tech cameras for Security. I felt safe during my stay.

We spent one night, and we were pleasantly surprised with our experience.
The staff at check in and check out was very friendly. For the price point, definitely a 5 star based on our experience. The room was simple but very clean, the bed was comfortable and everything worked without issue. Our room was closer to the road so we were expecting some noise during the night, but surprisingly it was very quiet.
If you're looking for a budget, cleaned and comfortable place to stay, this place is worth considering.

Other things to consider:
They do have a pool and provide towels pool side (we didn't use it). They also provide breakfast, but make sure to not over sleep (like we did lol) since it's available from 6-9am.

Very convenient location. Free Breakfast choices include scrambled eggs, sausages, make your own waffles, Frosted Flakes and Fruit Loops cereal, various breads and muffins, vanilla or peach yogurt, apples, orange juice, apple juice, and excellent coffee!

Nice people with whom I had the good Fortune of staying with for a short period of time. They address issues and problems quickly. I don't think I've ever seen nicer motel managers or landlords in my lifetime. Thanks. CHP.

Room was clean & comfortable. Front desk staff was friendly. Included breakfast included some hot food as well as continental - good options. I didn't experience any of the issues others mentioned in their reviews. Thought it was a good hotel with great value. Only downside is it's right next to the highway so there is some highway noise at night.

The front desk staff member was personable and helpful. Our room was on the first floor near the pool. I'm not a pool type of gal but it it was clean and well maintained. The breakfast had so much variety that I had a hot waffle with butter and my husband had a bagel and coffee.

The location is perfect for getting around to sight see. Safeway is about a mile away, convenient for day adventures. It's also close enough to the mall for easy access to purchase souvenirs before heading home.

This hotel is one of the best in its price category I’ve had a chance to stay in! Huge thanks goes to the front desk who allowed us to have breakfast at 5:30AM before an official time due to the early departure. Breakfast selection is a basic standard which comes with delicious creamers for your coffee or little chocolate cakes or mini cinnamon rolls. You can also have waffles or toasts with butter or marmelades.
When it comes to room itself, it was very clean and especially bathroom was really nice. Upgrading room was also very easy, all what you needed to do was ask the frontdesk. I highly recommene this place!

Great Value, VERY CLEAN rooms! We had never stayed here before. After reading reviews of multiple places, we decided to book here & are so glad we did! The location is great and walkable to the mall, grocery stores and many restaurants! Staff were also friendly & continental breakfast was good, especially the waffles! We would 100% stay here again!

Clean, handicap accessible, and hot breakfast but would have liked more hot options.

I stayed one evening in September. I was deeply impressed with the cleanliness of my room, the efficient and friendly staff, and delicious and warm breakfast all in the midst of a major remodel of the establishment. I will definitely stay again when I am in the area.

I've been on business travel from canada to mexico for years along the 5 corridor. The location of this hotel has always been excellent, and accomidating. The current ownership has made it such a better stay, that I delayed my presemt trip for another day to rest and enjoy. Clean, quiet, and secure, despite a last moment and light night arrival the friendly staff and clean comfortable room set them apart and above. For a road warrior or a family vacation stop with an amazing rate, my experience was all positive.

The Owner was amazing at looking after everything she needed to look after! She was on top of repairs, customer service and making Morning Glory a fantastic place to stay! We stayed at the same place 5 years ago and it has improved immensley!

Very friendly staff and location was great for us. We were going up to Mt. Baker for a day and spending our second day exploring Bellingham. Being right off of I5 and not far from downtown was perfect. The rooms were clean and nice and we didn't have any concerns. Great place!

Definitely a construction type that you would expect a sleezy, flea infested hotel. BUT NOT HERE! Such a pleasant surprise with the warm greeting upon arrival, to the very clean room, to the breakfast served by the owner at the front desk! A great place to stay! You don't get service like this at hotels twice the price! Only drawback is the thin walls between rooms. We had to keep the bathroom fan on all night because the neighbor had a loud voice and talked into the night!

Great place. The staff was above and beyond. Privacy was perfect. Free breakfast is really good. The rooms are nice too. Clean and comfortable. Pets allowed and being affordable this place is perfect for my gf and I. I hope the pool opens soon. I do not understand why this is labeled a one star hotel. I've stayed in 2 stars that are complete dumps. I've stayed in 5 star hotels. This place is more like a 3 or 4.

I must say, our stay here was more relaxing. We booked a suite, the room was clean and smell good when we checked in. Friendly staff. The housekeeper does an amazing job at keeping the rooms cleaned. Job well done to them.

It was so much better than when we stayed there in April, the new management have really cleaned up the place, there were no druggies hanging around. Clean rooms decent breakfast.

I have only stayed here a handful of times after the change in ownership, but the difference is VERY noticeable. The rooms now have hardwood/laminate flooring, which has improved the lingering odors in some of the rooms. I always bring my dog and I have found that the setup they have here for their pet-friendly rooms is one of the best setups I've experienced. They are ground floor with exterior doors so you don't need to trek through hallways and elevators/stairs to take your pet(s) outside.

The service is above and beyond -- they immediately helped resolve some issues with a hold on my debit card (not their fault!) and have made some other billing-related accommodations, when appropriate. The grounds and rooms are clean, and they were working on painting and landscaping the last time I was there. Beds are comfortable. They also fenced the property off from Meridian Street which has kept many of the "creepies" out and not lingering in the parking lot.

It's not luxury, but it's reliable and not overpriced. Walls can be a little thin, but just turn the AC and TV on :)
