By far one of the best curated museums I have ever been to. The way they use the space and height of the building to draw your eyes to exhibits. I had the best time....until I saw there was a Rolodex in the Local News exhibit. I have never felt so old. Highly recommend you visit as a resident and/or a tourist.

Love this museum. Very easy to navigate, and divided into distinct areas. $6 entry fee for non-residents of New Mexico as of November 2023. They had a Georgia O'Keefe and Henry Moore sculpture exhibit during my visit, so world class art.

Fantastic collection of art.
Many different galleries, extremely informative, detailed and interesting pieces. You could spend all day here and still miss some exhibits.
I’d recommend coming here twice to see everything. Entrance is only 6$

O'Keeffe And Moore were on display from Sept. 30 to Dec. 31 was an excellent exhibition of rich, historical, cultural, and vision, allowing many to look back and to look ahead. Crafts for all and L I V E Jazz was a plus.

A lovely museum with an ample variety of exhibits, a cafe, and a well stocked gift shop. I went during the O'Keeffe and Moore exhibit which was extraordinary. While I went for it, I also enjoyed the local art and the deep dive section on various dictatorships and democracy was informative.

Worth it... I mean, I went during the free admission, but it really was neat and the gift shop had fun trinkets. I bought a really neat picture book for my niece and nephew, or maybe just me, called "The Storytellers Handbook" check it out.

Nice, large variety of items touching on the history, culture and art of the area. Only $6 for out-of-state adults. I read a lot of the plaques / information and was out in under 2 hours.

Only got thru the 1st floor. We loved it and will return. Most of all, I loved, loved, loved the bronze sculptures that were labeled to be touched. It's always painful to not touch anything and I was overjoyed to be able to feel these pieces.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I planned to visit there. However, when i showed up I was absolutely blown away. I absolutely loved the Daniel Lyon exhibition. As someone who loves photography myself I enjoyed every moment of the exhibit. I also enjoyed the indigenous peoples exhibit with all the Native American pieces. All in all I loved every moment and highly suggest this as a stop for anyone who lives in or traveling through Albuquerque.

There are beautiful exhibits at the Albuquerque Museum. Make sure to give yourself enough time to see everything, I went about an hour before they closed and didn't get to see everything. What I was able to see was memorable and incredible. The art and artists are beautifully represented.

A great museum, always like the New Mexican art exhibit as well as new, rotating exhibits.

Just recently saw the new Georgia O'Keefe, Henry Moore exhibit. Just wonderful! Amazing O'Keefe paintings, including many from large art museums across the country that you would never see at the Santa Fe O'Keefe museum. And a very great introduction to Moore's amazing sculptures based on natural object forms.

First time to the museum. We went as it was a third Thursday event we were invited to. We were able to tour the several art exhibits and the traveling exhibits. I am not sure we saw it all. There was so much to see. I really liked the giant aerial map of Albuquerque on the floor in one room.

Really nice museum with different sections. There are a lot of antiques and art. One of the better museums of this type I've visited in the US. The entrance fee for non residents of New Mexico is $6.

Very well done museum. Lots to see here and a great way to learn more about the people, art and history of Albuquerque. When one considers the price this really is a bargain for both art and history lovers. I also enjoyed the sculpture garden outside.

Great time, great place! Very clean and well maintained area and decently priced. The NM Jazz Group was playing an event when I visited and the whole event was well managed. Definitely recommend the NM Music and Stars event happening from 7-10 pm on most Saturdays during the summer.

Just visited. The temporary exhibits were fantastic. I also enjoyed the New Mexican artists exhibit; we have so many talented artists in NM. Did a tour of the sculpture gardens- took an hour, informative, interesting and the museum has acquired a wonderful array of sculpture! Highly recommend!! Oh, and it's inexpensive- only 5 bucks for residents and 6 bucks for visitors.

We live in the Orlando, FL area and I wish our museum was as good. You won't see the "masters" here but the local art was very good and the venue is top shelf. We're seniors and the $4 admission was well spent. Even for 75 yr. olds like us it was very walkable (adjacent) to the historic zone.
We greatly enjoyed our visit.
BONUS: Although there is plenty of free street parking nearby, the Museum grants you a full day of FREE parking in the paid lot next door and at the "entrance" to "Old Town".

We went last Saturday and had an excellent time. It was really interesting seeing some of the history and culture of Albuquerque in particular. They also have a cute little coffee shop with pastries and an excellent gift shop.
