Dr. Lee and staff made Grr and I both very comfortable and relaxed. They explained everything and gave us options as well as recommendations. Our visit was successful!

Allowed me to go back with the pup for her visit, took less than 20 minutes. Very informative and kind staff.
Banfield in olympia require you to drop off your pet at 7am, drugged on strong sedatives/ anti psychotic medication and are then kept in crates till the end of the day.

I was able to get my dog into Banfield's when other veterinarians in Bellingham could not, and they are going out of their way to help us and refer us as we begin a journey with canine glaucoma. Mandy & Mama!

I'd definitely recommend going here, everyone was nice and helpful! From the time of check in to the time we left. They also have reasonable prices along with monthly plans.

Dr. Lee is amazing! We have been going to him for over 5 years with our 2 dogs. He has performed life saving surgery and helped our dogs when sick/hurt multiple times.

We had to put our dog to sleep. The staff were kind, considerate, professional, and sympathetic through the entire process. They made sure that our beloved pet died with dignity in a caring environment.

While I really do understand and respect closing due to the weather, I did not appreciate zero heads up. I didn't want to drive any more than the next person. But when I make appointments I let people know if I'm unable to keep them. This was a let down not for the closure, but total lack of communication.

Update:
I was contacted by the staff. An unlisted number was used in an attempt to communicate, but no voice mail. The staff was exceptionally professional in re-establishing communication and coming to agreeable terms. The visit was rescheduled and went with no issues whatsoever. Updated to 5 stars for overall attention to detail in professionalism.

I have been bringing my dog here for the last 4+ years. The staff and vets are always very caring, friendly, and helpful. My dog has major anxiety at the vet & doesnt like most people, and they have dealt with him exceptionally.

It's hard to entrust others with our precious fur babies. I am extremely attached to my sweet cat Bella. Probably should get a therapist for that but whatever.
I admit to being a bit apprehensive about bringing her to a "big box" type vet. Then I remembered it IS locals who work there. After lots of research, I decided on Banfield for two main reasons: 1) The Wellness Plans are amazing. I love all that is included and it eases my mind knowing Bella is covered. 2) Past experience with prior pets. Many years ago, I took the family pet here and never had a problem. So, when I got my new kitten, I decided what the heck.

Upon our very first visit I was so impressed with how loving everyone was to my princess. It was as if they could tell that an over-attentive and very attached cat mama was walking in the door. 🤣 When Bella was brought back out, I appreciated the thorough report and how interpersonal the vet was.

I decided Banfield would also be the place she would be spayed which really stressed me out. They were SO kind and patient when I called all hysterical after getting Bella home and having a hard time adjusting. (I am SO sorry whoever had to deal with me in that moment. You were a saint!)

Today we went back for her comprehensive exam. I just love how welcoming everyone has been. Those that I have interacted with anyway. It's clear everyone loves animals and knows how to make the pet (and the pet parent) feel special.

The ONLY thing I miss and pray it is available again as covid stuff calms down is that owners are able to go back with their pets. I know it isn't possible yet and I am sure out of this situation there are some positives with not having owners with their babies (who is really anxious here right???) but there is a part of me that hates handing over my precious cargo without seeing where she is going and being able to have the relationship with the vet like I recall having in years past.

All that to say, the folks at Banfield have been great so far and I hope it continues. I recommend giving them a try! Oh! And another added bonus, it's nice to be able to bop over to Petsmart and get supplies while there.

My dog Willow gets so excited to go to the vet, even when she gets shots, she comes out with her tail wagging. I also love that this vet does monthly plans!
The staff are also very friendly, and handle my dogs over excitement super well.

Had a very bad experience with our previous vet being mean to our little cat and prescribing him a medicine that is toxic to cats. How refreshing to meet someone who is actually a veterinarian because they love animals. The vets and other staff here are very knowledgeable and extremely friendly and loving towards the animals. Thank you to all of you for helping our little guy and for showing such compassion, our little guy was so scared because of his previous experiences and you were so gentle and spoke so sweetly to him. Truly grateful and I have been recommending you to all my friends and family.

I’ve been on the wellness plan for over a year and it’s been wonderful. They are so good with calling and reminding me of what shots need to be updated, if she needs her comprehensive exam or teeth cleaning. It’s wonderful cause I have a lot going on in my life and that reminder is everything to me especially since I’m a new mother. Today I called at 1130 to try to get an appointment cause my gizmo had a growth of her eye and Fatima, who was so wonderful, got me an appointment at 1230, an hour later! I saw Dr Little who was extremely helpful and made me feel comfortable giving me all sorts of helpful tips and what I should look for if it gets worse. I have never had a bad experience at Banfield. They have always been amazing. I definitely recommend getting on the wellness plan!

Ahhh love it here!! My kitten has the wellness plan, which I recommend to anyone. We pay a monthly fee and she gets discounts on vaccines and medicine, unlimited free check-ups, and no-annual comprehensive check in.

My kitten is one of their most difficult animals (she HATES the vet), but they are always happy to see her. They are willing to work around her and make sure she’s comfortable, and I never feel guilty for having such an unmanageable cat. The staff here is so kind and wonderful. I would recommend to anyone.

They offered us little calming capsules to give to her before vet appointments now and they work like a charm. She’s more comfortable, and the vet is able to do a better check-up on her. :)

They take good care of my pup!

I have been taking my cat, Justice here for a few months and I don't understand why the ratings are so low. The staff are so sweet and caring every time I call or go to the office. They are always happy to see us when we walk through the door. They love Justice. I have never had a vet treat us as well as they do. He is on the "Wellness Plan" which covers so many things. Office visits, shots, teeth cleaning ext. It's such a great plan and I recommend them and the plan to all my friends and family. Five stars from me. Which is hard to do.

Was skeptical at first because it's in PetSmart, but I'm glad we gave them a chance.

We have the Banfield pet plan for both dogs. It's a great deal and helps keep our dogs healthy year round.

Staff are friendly and can usually get you scheduled quickly if needed. Docs always give thorough evaluation and are willing to discuss options based on your resources.

We especially appreciate Dr. VanDuren who works well with our anxious pup!
