Erna Fergusson Public Library

Thank you to the lady who did music and reading books for us on last Wednesday June 14th 2023. There was no other kids but just my 2 kids and my friend's kid. Even though just 3 kids, she still gave us her time and was so patient with our kids too.
They also have so many good toys to play for kids.

I just want to say thank you very, VERY much to the folks at the Montgomery Park branch (Erna Fergusson) of the Albuquerque Public Library! I was in Albuquerque earlier this month and needed to check my email, as I’d been out of internet range for the past week. I stopped in the library and inquired about the procedures for using the public computers. All the staff were extremely friendly; they were very hospitable and explained that anyone who carried an Albuquerque public library card could use the PCs at no charge, and the application for a library card was quick and easy.

Within minutes, they had processed my application and I had a library card in hand! I was able to log on to a PC and go through all my emails (both for work and home) within an hour. It was such a relief to reconnect to the outside world while I had some free time, and take care of a few projects that needed to be done before I returned home.

The librarians were very conscientious and reminded me that, since I was using a public computer, they did not recommend I access any extremely private information (such as a bank account). I appreciated their thoughtfulness in helping me protect my identity.

The library itself is an extremely welcoming space, with a glass front entryway and wide areas for bookshelves and reading tables. Its location is perfect for a neighborhood library: just off a main street, a block from a lovely park, and next to a senior activity center.

I have always loved libraries, and this experience is just one of many pleasant hours I’ve spent within their walls. Thank you, Erna Fergusson Public Library, for your hospitality and your wonderful environment!

We love this library. The staff is amazing and they offer so many helpful services to all walks of life. Even though it's no longer our home library, it's still one of our favorites to visit.

First trip into this branch of the Albuquerque Bernalillo County library. The staff was very friendly and helpful finding the item I was looking for. Recently got back into reading and the entire library system has been outstanding and is a great public service

Excellent library, kind staff, easy to place holds and use other library resources.

Libraries are always the best. Sometimes there are screaming babies, it can't be helped. But this one is open all the time, or almost all the time, has excellent giant letters out front, open great hours, and has plenty of computers, sitting, and bicycle parking spots. LOVE IT!!! 6/5 Stars, Yo!

Thanks to the nice lady who renewed my library card. Very friendly and helpful. I also really enjoy the yoga class that the library allows to be held there. Thank you staff of Erna Ferguson! 💕

Great library branch! I love that it is open seven days a week, and the staff is always helpful and professional. The kids' library selection is excellently curated as well. Unlike other libraries I've visited, the juvenile nonfiction is mixed in with the adult nonfiction here, which leads to kids getting to see lots of books they normally wouldn't when they are researching new topics.

Also, next to a great park with beautiful green space and a playground. One of my favorite library branches in the city!

Was here Tuesday and asked a wonderful lady at the help desk about the libby app which was good because I knew her from when she worked at Tony Hillerman 5 or 6 years ago the answer was not really answered but she was helpful gave me advice and I used it and when I worked more on it when I got home that she gave helped me kind of solve my libby problem on trying to figure out how to make recommendations on it. Now that I know ow she is there I might have to squeeze time to say hi to her more often and keep getting movies from the library.

I love the staffs , very helpful . Also variety of books option , pretty good amount of computers to use . The desk is great for group and also for single person to use . Bathroom is clean ! Alot of children activities , toys and books option as well .
What can they improve ? Maybe add 1/2 more return book machine . Also would be great to add a stool for children who wanted to do it themselves to return / borrow the books .

Great location with the park there. I also love the electronic stuff they have that instantly returns your books, while the main library still does it manually, and takes about a half-hour. They seem to be constantly upgrading their facilities for checking out and returning. The staff are also very nice and really helpful. I'm glad it's my local library, because it's the best in the city.

Generally always busy. Staff very patient and helpful. Great parking. Kids pool, senior center and public park adjacent to library. Diversion channel pedestrian/bike path runs through park and along north side of library.
This is one of the best libraries in town. Computers, CDs/DVDs, WiFi, kids section, meeting rooms, good hours, order any book from any other library, safe, ...
The only problem is the occasional misfit, which is true of any place. Bathrooms could be MUCH improved.

The Erna Fergusson Library is a wonderful library and community meeting and learning space. They have computers, books, movies, tons of additional resources, and a cozy children's room. They also offer a variety of classes and programs for all ages, and boast a friendly and knowledgeable staff.

Spacious, comfortable chairs and tables, quiet, helpful staff, large collection of books and magazines; they have everything a library should and do it right, even community programs. Use your library!

Great atmosphere & really good books, DVDS, Computers , Very nice people working there. A calming design!! The building also calming!I’m going On Tuesday morning to get back with the Environment!!

It is one of the few libraries open seven days a week. They hours are limited do please make sure they are open before going. There us a 15 minute time limit and mask are required. There is no computers available but there is a copy machine available. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I really enjoy this library. It has beautiful natural lighting and large windows, the staff are always kind and helpful, and the selection of books is certainly impressive. It's a wonderful place to spend time, and I've been going here for years with complete satisfaction.

Really friendly staff, tons &tons of great movies!!!😊😊 📚📚📚💻💻 books n computers. What I'm so happy about is the 3 WEEKS u can keep your movies out for!! Yay!! They need donations of plastic bags for their movies, etc, though, so c'mon people! ! Let's donate plastic to our public library!!
