Beaver Taco

We ate at Beaver Taco first time as we were traveling through the area. We both ordered veggie burritos and they had a great flavor to them. The art was fun in there as well.

I got the chili Verde. Man it's hard to find that stuff made right. This is the best Mexican I ever had and I grew up with a Mexican family in Arizona. They could charge double and id say it's worth every penny. Gigantic authentic tortilla. The salsas amazing. The Hot carrots. It's everything I could ask for. What a great place hidden in the middle of nowhere.

The food here is similar to Pollo Tropical chain in Florida. Veggies in tacos were fresh. Overall, good food if you are into Mexican food. Recommended dish - Chorizo taco.

The food definitely lives up to its name. The lengua tacos, taquitos (rolled tacos), and chile relleno burrito are all delicious. They have five different salsas at the salsa bar. The two tomatillo salsas lacked flavor, but the other three are good. They have a ton of Mexican candy for sale. Really cool art pieces are hung around the place also. It seemed clean in the dining room and bathrooms. Definitely a great place to stop for some good Mexican food.

While visiting Beaver during our National Park tour of Utah, we decided to try Beaver Taco. I was not expecting such a tasty and authentic meal. We tried their street tacos and they were legit. The restaurant was packed with tons of people ordering as it is along Highway 15 and has a really fun atmosphere with their own special shirts and logo and interesting pictures that many kids enjoyed finding the hidden images while waiting for their food. Despite the number of orders and having a drive thru, they were speedy in the back. The food was great and this is a must visit of driving past or through Beaver Utah. No beavers were injured in the making of the tacos.

Went here with my family on a busy Saturday, the food was fresh and prepared to our liking. This is the most authentic Mexican food I’ve had outside of Mexico/CA. The salsas were excellent and not too hot. The taco salad portion was huge (think dinner for two), the shell was freshly fried yet didn’t taste like frying oil! My son really enjoyed his burrito. We will definitely be back!

Stopped on our way to Vegas and it was totally worth the hype.

This is a locals joint. The staff is always friendly. Seems to be a mix of local customers and travelers. There is easy access off the freeway if you’re stopping for a quick lunch break on the road. And to fill up for gas. you can grab lunch for two for $20. It’s a road trip deal you can’t beat and the food quality is pretty good for that price. The sauces and ingredients like the cilantro taste like they are made fresh. Not from a can or a bottle.

Famous mostly for the “I love Beaver” stickers. Beaver, Utah, has a better reason than truck stop stickers to visit, and that’s a visit to Beaver Taco. This cozy taco joint has been a post-ski trip tradition for our family, and it hasn't disappointed us in over a decade. The Mexican food here is excellent, fresh, and authentic. I personally recommend their street tacos, but you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. If you're traveling along I-15 and in need of a great meal, make it a point to stop in Beaver and experience the deliciousness of Beaver Taco.

Come here for authentic Mexican food. It was really good.

We ate here again passing through. The carne asada is so good. We had it with street tacos and the burrito plate. Oh and their beans and rice are unique. I really like them.

Super fast service and my wife and I loved the carne asada mini tacos. The restaurant was clean and the employees seemed happy and were very professional and friendly.

Another road trip, another Google search for better than average road trip food… and this one was a total score. Delicious food in good size portions, and FRESH. Like, you wait for it to be made, and it is worth every second because they make it from scratch fresh. Refried beans were perfect. Carne asada was seasoned so well, no sauces needed. We did try them, though.

The salsas were also delicious - the mild green sauce had fresh (there’s that word again) jalapeños blended with awesomeness.

Friendly service, nice and clean atmosphere, and the art is worth studying. I wasn’t the only one tonight who was taking pictures of the paintings.

If you are vegan, vegetarian or allergic to milk, they have you covered. The meals we got had no cheese, and it wasn’t needed.

Want a place to stop for a quick meal on the way to or from St. George or Vegas on I-15? Do yourself a favor and stop at Beaver Tacos.

On a side note, Beaver, Utah would be the perfect place for the first west of Texas Buc-ee’s. Just sayin’.

My husband and I came here during a road trip and what a pleasant surprise! The shredded chicken chimichanga, chicken taco and burrito, beans and rice were all SO GOOD! Taste like it came from grandma's kitchen. The place was clean and service was friendly and helpful. They also have a salsa bar!

We came here because this place had such a funny name and we were passing through, needing something quick. Beaver Taco was great! Super friendly and food came out fast. We had a taco salad and a burrito - it’s not going to win any culinary awards but definitely hit the spot. Good stopover location.

We stopped while driving through on I-15. It’s a great quick place that’s different from a fast food burger place. We ordered a shrimp taco & chorizo taco. They were both perfect. The chorizo was very flavorful. There is a small fresh salsa bar too which has some unique salsas. The kid’s quesadilla was very big, had a good amount of cheese & a homemade tortilla. We will definitely come again when driving through Beaver!

Pretty damn authentic street tacos for being out in the middle of nowhere and I've had plenty in LA, OC and SD. Didn't have the appetite to try anything else besides 4 carne asada tacos. My wife is Mexican, raised in LA and really enjoyed the tacos. Surprise, surprise, surprise. Plus, how do you pass up a place called Beaver Taco???

The food was very, very fresh. The California burrito was HUGE. The cheese quesadilla was a great value. The tacos were yummy. Everything was clean and the service was great and very friendly. We have seen this place every time we drive to St George and so glad we finally stopped. We will definitely be back.
