Owner Jeff Schwandt has earned my respect with his punctuality, customer service, and mechanical capabilities. Jeff has personally performed all the necessary repiping and fixture installation in my home following a broken pipe flood that took out my kitchen, laundry room, and one bathroom earlier this year. Jeff's attention to detail and extreme care, as well as his thorough review of all of his work after it was complete not only put my mind at ease but assured that no call backs were ever necessary.
Today, I had the misfortune of another leaky pipe fitting. Fortunately it was in my crawl space and did no damage to any part of my home. Jeff was amazing. Woke up with no hot water and no idea what do to. Reached out and got a response almost immediately. He happened to be in the neighborhood and was able to stop by and evaluate the situation. In ten min he explained what the issue was, multiple options for a solution and then a quote. He recognized the urgency of a family not having hot water and was able to reschedule a non emergent afternoon appointment and was back same day in the afternoon to resolve. His response was excellent, his work professional and his knowledge on point. He left the job site clean, and all issues questions resolved. Having Chuckanut Plumbing in your contacts is a must!

Needed a PRV replaced and called 9 plumbers who service Bellingham - Chuckanut was the only company that was willing to get a picture of the job I needed done and give me a reasonable quote based on the work that was required. They were also transparent regarding additional costs if any piping needed to be cut. The scheduling and job was quick, and the cost was very close to the original bid. I highly recommended this company.

Jeff responded to my initial message within a few hours, came out the next day to check out my plumbing job, and returned two days later to complete the work. I felt he answered my questions clearly, charged me a fair price, and was just a good guy to work with. He’s going to be the first person I call next time I need help!

I strongly recommend Chuckanut Plumbing for all your plumbing needs. I was stuck trying to find a good plumber to come finish some significant damage left by my contractor handling our home remodel and Jeff came to the rescue. He was able to update several pipes connecting to our addition and was even able to install a water pressure reducer because he had time and was so quick. Good price, clean work, and the job was spotless afterwards. Great find!

Highly recommended! Jeffrey helped us replace an old water heater with a new one. A few days later had to call him back since we noticed a small issue with the gas connector to the icon system. He literally showed up within half an hour, checked it and then went ahead and replaced it with a new one at no charge. Very professional and a super nice guy.

We arrived home to a perfect storm of frozen and broken water lines.Could not get a plumber sooner than a week out. Jeff returned our call and showed up right on time, less than 12 hours after we called. He repaired 5 broken lines (by himself) and had us back in running water in a little over 2 hours. I needed a thermocouple replacement on a nine-year-old gas water heater. I called Jeffery on Saturday while he was on another job. Jeffery called me back in 10 minutes with a precise quote for the job and kindly offered to come on Sunday. I am super happy with having hot water again after Jeffery's professional repair. Jeffrey has done several plumbing jobs for me. Quick response, always pleasant and leaves the repair area clean. He has repaired a leaking pipe inside a wall, fixed a refrigerator water connection that had been incorrectly plumbed, corrected sink discharge lines that drained slowly and installed an irrigation connection and valve.
