Bellingham Asthma, Allergy & Immunology Clinic

The clinic is overall great. Staff is helpful and they care, and no long wait.
Main issue was getting there. I got an email prior to the appointment with the address and a link to maps (google maps). When I click on the "view map" link or copy the address it navigates to the wrong spot. When I put the business name in, the directions are to the correct place. Attached picture shows the place I was originally directed to then where the clinic actually is.

I saw Dr Elkayam as a new patient this morning. He spent a lot of time thoughtfully explaining possible etiologies for my condition with just the right amount of detail. He also provided follow-up referrals. In addition, all of the staff were helpful and courteous. I highly recommend this office and Dr Elkayam.

Awesome doctors, staff and practice. Personal, responsive and accommodating. Doctor Elkayam is the best. He applied a perfect mix of technical medical knowledge and common sense to develop and administer my treatment plan. I’m so glad I found this place.

I could not say enough positive things about this place from the receptionist to the nurses and finally Dr. Ayars . All very kind and I felt they really cared , I would recommend them to my friends .

Dr Ayars was great! He listened to my symptoms, ran some tests right then and there, and provided both short term and long term solutions to help.

Dr. Ayars is absolutely amazing, I followed him from UW to here. Very few people know about or understand my mast cell disorder. Dr. Ayars gave me answers that countless other doctors could not and has been key to my treatment. The rest of the staff was amazing as well- helpful and personable.

We requested a new allergist for our infant son after our first (different practice) left much to be desired. Dr. Elkayam was wonderful and within the first 5 minutes of our appointment I knew we had made the right choice to switch. He took the time to thoroughly explain things, had a genuine interest in our son and was clearly passionate about his specialty. A huge weight has been lifted now that I feel comfortable with the team managing my son's allergies.

Dr.Ayres and his entire staff provide what I would consider “world class” medical care. I can’t say enough about what he has done for me and the care that he provided me.

PAC Katie Anderson is awesome! My daughter as well as myself have been seen by her and her bedside manner and knowledge is truly the best. The nurses were engaging, sweet, and patient with our little one. Would absolutely recommend this clinic to others!

If you need help with asthma, or allergies, this is the place for you. I drive an hour to go and see them because they are extremely helpful. I wouldn’t go anywhere else

When we moved here from Seattle we were so hesitant to transfer care from our regular Virginia Mason Asthma & Allergy but practically speaking we needed to. I have been consistently surprised and delighted by the quality of care and providers here. We have seen Dr Elkayam in the past and Dr Andrews the last couple times. I feel well informed, HEARD and worked WITH for pediatric food allergies. I feel that they are progressive and very experienced. Today my 4.5yo passed his first oral food challenge in the office to peanuts. I was on the verge of a panic attack upon arrival. ... They had tablets, movies, trains, comfortable chairs, incredibly kind and skilled nurses and staff. I just am so grateful for my son to be in their care. Thank you!!!

Since the first time I met the staff, I have been impressed with not just their medical knowledge, but how warm and open they are to listening to your concerns, answering questions I am sure they have heard thousands of times as if it was the first time, providing clear and detailed analysis and information a patient can understand, and in general dealing with each patient as if they were old friends. Oh, and they saved my life, so that rates pretty high, too. :)

I absolutely love Bellingham Asthma and Allergy Clinic. Between myself and two of my kids I would say that we have seen and been through most aspects of the clinic. Dr. Elkayam is wonderful with children and really listens to what THEY have to say about how they feel. He is very descriptive and detailed and comes up with a plan to help whatever your particular situation. We have also been doing allergy shots and Barb has been incredibly patient and encouraging of my 5 year old. She has done great. There is a toy area with books and toys for kids and we always feel welcome there. We have never been treated with anything but the utmost respect and i am usually there by myself with a 6 year old, 4 year old and a baby. I recommend them to all of my friends and can't say enough good things about them.

I had a wonderful experience at this clinic. I was in an extreme time crunch as I needed to see a specialist so I could return to work and only had one week to do so. The doctor and nurse I worked with were so friendly and attentive and made sure I received the testing and education I needed to proceed. I would highly recommend Bellingham asthma and allergy if you need a specialist in this field.

Dr. Elkayam is amazing. Great listener, knowledgeable and respectful. Listens with great care. Wonderful staff as well.

The whole clinic team are more than s/heroes to our family clan. They have treated FOUR generations of our extended family since 1994, when Dr. El Kayam turned our then three year old son's health around.

I have been a patient here for over 20 years and have consistently received excellent care from all the staff.

I highly recommend! They are helpful, caring, excellent at troubleshooting my condition. I feel more calm and hopeful about my future with them.
