La Morenita Bakery

Stumbled upon this place whole driving from Mt Rainier to Leavenworth as something on the way and I'm glad I did. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the bread filled with cream cheese and jalapeños and the Concha was delicious. Highly recommend the place.

The bread is fresh most of the time and delicious! They are constantly making bread throughout the day and not just once in the morning and sell throughout the day. I highly recommend checking this place out. They always get sold out by the end of the day. Try going by 10am for some warm fresh bread

Delicious fresh pan dulce! Especially in the morning when the bread is still warm! The white conchas and the bread filled with cream n jalapeños! Soo good!

If you want to talk about one of the staples of this city we have to talk about la morenita. This has been everyone and their grandmas favorite bakery since it opened. Whatever mexican sweet pastry you are craving they have it. Conchas, polovornes, fresh warm bolio, and my favorite their warm bolio with cream cheese and jalapeños stuffed inside of them. 🤤

Great to find excellent Mexican bakeries in Yakima. This is one of the bests. Try the bolillo and get some "conchas" for breakfast. Very friendly staff.
