I have gone here since college for all of my piercings, back when they were still on Scalp Ave. Clean environment, sanitary tools, professional staff, and good prices. He is wonderful. No issues /infections with any of my piercings ever, even ones I’ve gotten repierced due to letting the holes close. Follow the cleaning instructions and take care of your piercings and you’ll be good to go. I have most of my original jewelry still in because I love the look and quality of how they hold up over time. Never had one fall out that’s been put in by the piercer. Thank you for your great work!

I’ve went to Matthew’s for all my piercings throughout the years (I have/had a lot) I only trust him. He is super professional, clean and nice. Not to mention his prices are extremely affordable compared to others!

I will only ever go here for tattoos. I got my first tattoo done here and many more after. I only ever intend on coming here for work. All of my tattoos have came out amazing and exactly how I wanted. I plan to go back soon for 4 more tattoos. I recommend him to all of my family members.

I just got a pair of daiths done for my migraine headaches from Mike at Matthews. These are the 3rd and 4th piercings that Mike has done for me over the years and I have never had any problems. Today makes a week after I got my daiths and I have already experienced less pressure in my head and they are healing up great. Very professional atmosphere and Mike is a very nice person.

MPT has done 11 tattoos on me. Great quality whether it was a cover up or a new piece in a fresh area, Super professional and very friendly… Don’t listen to the 1 stars that complain about placement or size. That’s the type of thing you sort out with the artist before the needle hits your skin.

I have never personally gotten a tattoo from him, but I've seen his work and it's phenomenal. I have, however, been pierced by him many times. I am always pleased. He is quick, CLEAN, and talks you through it step by step. He's one of those like him or hate him guys and I just love him. I'm getting ready to schedule another piercing with him very soon.

Took my daughter there last month for a nostril piercing, and today for a tattoo. Both times the owner worked on her and he was very friendly and knowledgeable, and they were pleasant experiences for my daughter. Her nose is already almost completely healed, and she is in love with her tattoo. And the prices were very reasonable. There is a certain tattoo I want, and based on my daughter’s experience, as we are moving to Texas this week, I will wait until I come up to PA on a visit and get mine done at Matthew’s Party Tattoo. I have only ever gotten piercings here; my tongue and nose. Both times, the staff were extremely personable and willing to answer any questions I had! I've seen some of the tattoos in person that come out of this shop, and they are impeccable! The owner/artist has had a solid reputation in the area for several years, and his clientele (including myself) are faithful, and will always back him up! You can't beat the prices; they're reasonable, and the work is fantastic! Oh -- and SUPER CLEAN! Props, Michael!

I’ve never had a bad experience here. The work and artistry performed is way above any expectations. Good conversations, clean environment, prompt and reliable on scheduling times, more than fair on pricing, does amazing work period. It’s a sigh of relief knowing you can go here and trust in knowing all elements of getting a tattoo are going to be in the best hands...literally 👏🏽👏🏽

I got my nose piercings and lip piercing here, I’m not sure why there are so many bad reviews about how he pierces! He’s always kind and quick, and was very reassuring when I said about how I was afraid it was gonna hurt etc. it’s reasonably priced, and it’s an in and out thing!

I have gotten every tattoo and piercing I've ever had here, and have never had a problem. It is super clean and everyone is very friendly and helpful. My tattoos are amazing! I always recommend people to go here. I wouldn't go anywhere else!

I have actually been to Matthew's Party Tattoo and have had several tattoo's done by Michael. They have never been rude to me or hesitated to answer any questions I might have had... Including when I had gone in for my first tattoo, which I had drawn myself and consulted Michael on. They are incredibly patient, considerate individuals and I would not only continue to go back any time I wanted work done, but have referred them several times to friends and family. They are a Christian-based shop and make no bones about it. Anyone who is a local knows this, so to act surprised that they stand behind their morals... Why even go there in the first place? This is a top-notch shop cared for by top-notch people.

I had a very nice piece done by Michael Pearson five years ago and I still love it. I want to get a re-work/add on piece done sometime soon of some work I got a long time ago at a different shop. I was treated with respect and felt confident through the entire process and plan to get more work from this shop over time.

Michael gave me my very first tattoo, which was special to me because it was dedicated to my children. It turned out exactly how I wanted it. He knew I was nervous to get my first tattoo and kept up conversation, which completely distracted me from any nervousness I had. The tattoo wasn’t painful at all and I’m in love with the outcome! Everything was professional and clean. I will be going to him for any future ink. Thank you again!

Absolutely love this place ! Been going here for the better part of 15 years and every single time was amazing. I got a piercing not to long ago that decided to give me trouble a couples weeks after getting it. I came to the shop and the owner checked it out gave me the proper fitting bars for swelling and I was back to normal. Actually I ended up SCHEDULING a very large tattoo that day. I'm now 2 sessions in and a 3rd already scheduled. Couldn't be any happier :) only thing I suggest is stop in and talk to him for tattoo quotes and scheduling for best results. There is only 1 man running the show there for both tattoos and piercings. The shop is open for piercing walk in's and tattoo scheduling only 3 hrs per operating days so try to plan ahead. Again the guy is a lone soldier in there so don't expect to walk in that day and walk out with a new back piece. Remember ppl you get what you pay for in both money and time. This guy is crazy busy because he is the best.
