Miguel’s team helped to replace my entire house siding (except one masonry wall) and roof couple years ago. His price was reasonable and the work is of nice quality. It withstood two winters’ test. I also received compliments from another roof/siding builder on how the new hardie boards were installed. He was also responsive to calls and inquiries even 2 years after the job was completed.
I asked Miguel to help on my Chimney’s stucco siding again this spring.

We decided to re-do our exterior which included building a deck with a large covered porch. A fairly large exterior project. We hired Miguel and his team and couldn’t be happier with both the process as well as the end result. The crew showed up consistently and worked hard every day. The workmanship was top notch and they took the time it cleanup after themselves. Miguel gave us options and his opinions on various things that came up throughout the process which we very much appreciated. We will definitely be using them for future work!

Miguel Jara was beyond fabulous to work with. I have very high expectations, and very few people meet them! Miguel went above and beyond throughout the entire process start to finish. He was honest and upfront. He replaced the stucco on our entire home with beautiful stone and siding. All of his men were kind and professional, and took great pride in their work. It is super important to be able to trust someone working on your home, trust and honesty are the most important factors, but the incredible workmanship and years of experience are very evident in the quality of work they do. I am constantly getting compliments on the new exterior of our home. Miguel talked himself out of a job by being honest about my roof not needing any repairs, even after two other roofing companies had told me otherwise. I would pay whatever he charges to be able to trust the work on your home, but Miguel is very fair in his pricing. Not the cheapest you will find, but worth every penny. He receives my unequivocal recommendation!

We were referred to Jara Construction by a trusted source for repairing gutters damaged by a storm. Miguel was quick to respond and come to my property, and was able to get separate quotes for both the repairs as well as replacements elsewhere. He also highlighted potential additional work that may come about once they started as not to cause any unwanted surprises. In all, the work was done professionally and promptly, completed ahead of schedule, with clear communication along the way. I would highly recommend and consider using Jara again for future needs.

Jara Construction did a truly fantastic job with our 20-year old home that had bad stucco, a dated and cookie-cutter design, and a bad roof. Fairest pricing, seamless communication, collaborated with us on customizations, and delivered quality. Really happy with the way it turned out!

We hired Jara Construction to reside our home in Chester Springs, PA. The work included removing all of the original cedar siding and stucco and replacing with Hardie Board, as well as recapping the windows and replacing gutters. We solicited quotes from multiple vendors. Jara came highly recommended from a top local realtor, and their pricing was the most reasonable (in some cases a full $20K less than other quotes). Everything about the experience was positive. Miguel was very responsive and proactive with communication, as were his crew members. Text exchanges were easiest/fastest. All of the workers were professional and friendly. They were always on time and cleaned up every day. The job took about 3 weeks for a roughly 5K sq ft home, which was faster than we originally anticipated based on similar construction on neighboring homes. The end result is gorgeous and we could not be happier! Will definitely use again for future projects.

The Jara Construction team is absolutely wonderful. Extremely professional, responsive and incredibly hardworking. We hired Miguel and his team for a large exterior project including complete stucco removal, new cement siding, new front step and walkway, and a new back patio. Jara Construction helped us replace a few damaged sidings. We were having a hard time finding a contractor for such a small job and then this company came as a breath of fresh air! Professional, honest, responsive, easy to schedule, fair pricing and good workmanship- this company checks all the boxes. It was a pleasure to do business with Miguel and his crew! I highly recommend Miguel and his team at Jara Construction. His team did a great job of removing the stucco siding and replacing with JamesHardie siding and removing all the old windows and replacing with new construction windows. We even had 4 windows on a stone face that needed replacement and they diligently scraped out the old mortar so they could remove the old windows and carefully fit the new windows in. There have been at least 2 long soaking downpours over the past summer/early fall and there have been no issues with any leaks anywhere in the house. We also had 2 patio french doors replaced with sliding doors and the old wood deck replaced with a composite deck, metal railing and a drink rail on top. His team also installed a ledger board above the deck for a future awning to be installed per the awning installer's instructions and stud locations marked. When our awning installer said that they would install the awning right over the JamesHardie siding I appreciated Miguel immediately letting us know that it wasn't the proper way as recommended by the siding manufacturer and he highly recommended that we confirm with the siding manufacturer. My husband was able to confirm with JamesHardie technical services that was indeed the case.

We also had the stucco on one chimney completely redone due to cracks leading to an interior wall. And after the windows were replaced we also had them install new interior trim.

My husband and I were so impressed with the work quality and work ethic that we also decided to go with Jara Construction to put in a flagstone walkway from the driveway to the front door/stoop and also from the driveway to the new back deck. The front entrance now looks amazing. We are also very happy with the new back walkway which leads to the side garage door and steps down towards the deck.

Miguel's team was always very respectful, kept the work site clean, and when they were inside doing work, they were very careful in moving furniture around and would cover it with a sheet so it wouldn't get too dusty. I also appreciated that they helped in some last minute touch up and clean up of items.

I personally was initially apprehensive of taking on such a large project for the first time in my life but I'm glad that I chose to work with Miguel and his team. I highly recommend Jara Construction for their professionalism and quality of work.

We could not be happier with the work Miguel and his crew did on an extensive exterior renovation of our historic home (built 1797) - replacement windows on second floor, roof reshingled, new gutters, wraparound porch roof replaced and repaired, stucco/cement repair, exterior painted. Miguel was a pleasure to work with and very responsive whenever we had questions and he provided good options and solutions throughout the project. Miguel came the next day to look at my roof, where the wind blew off shingles. While we wait to see what insurance will do, that same day, Miguel sent his guys over and replaced the missing shingles, so that if it rains, there won't be interior damage. He is honest and dependable. I highly recommend Jara Construction.

I cannot say enough about Jara Construction & Miguel. They got us out of a bad situation with another bad siding company. They came out at short notice and resolved all the issues with no hassle. Miguel and his team were an absolute pleasure to work with. We hired them for a large exterior project that included stucco removal, new Hardie Board siding and stone front, new windows and doors, new roof, shutters, lights, gutters and soffits. Miguel and his team were wonderful to work with and I highly recommend! We used Jara Construction to replace all our windows and update our vinyl siding with Hardie Board. He provided a cost estimate (which was fairly priced) and a timeline (which he held to). His crew was wonderful to deal with. They were very professional and thorough. They completed the job on time and on budget. We are thrilled with the completed project and would use Jara again in a heartbeat.

We initially had Miguel out to review our stucco report and his quote was the lowest by far of everyone. The project was efficient as well as high quality. We then had his team back to replace the roof and install a new deck as well as 2 sliders. All incredibly well done with top of the line materials. We will continue to call for any future needs! We were looking to replace the roof on my daughter’s house in Malvern. I had gotten names of 3 contractors, that had been recommended, and reached out to them. 2 of the 3 came out to look at the job and one returned my call but never made an attempt to look at the job. I received quotes from the other two and both were similar. Right before we were to decide, a friend of the family suggested reaching out to Jara Construction as his company had done work for her and other members of her neighborhood. Long story short, we selected Jara and are so glad we did. Very professional in all aspects of the job. Gave us a quote with different options which saved us some money. Can’t say enough good things to say about him and his crew. If you want something done with quality and professionalism, this company is the one.

Contacted Miguel about my existing sunroom which was having water issues, even after a full roof replacement. We decided to replace the existing siding, install new windows and properly seal the room up to modern standards. We were able to fix all of the issues and the room looks wonderful. Miguel and his team were on time, courteous, and suggested great options. Will definitely use them again for future projects. The teams attention to every detail and concern was fabulous.

We had whole house stucco remediation done. We got a few quotes and selecting Jara Construction after talking to other homeowners and spending a few months researching. The team was great- they were here early in the morning and worked long hours. They paid attention to detail and took pride in their work. The very rare times that I had questions or problems, Miguel was able to address them with me to my satisfaction. He stands behind his work. I'd absolutely use him for any future projects we have, and I have no hesitation in fully recommending him.

Work done: We bought a house with stucco damage and opted for full remediation. We had to work with our HOA on acceptable materials/design. Miguel helped me select stone (even meeting me at a quarry an hour away because I was having so much trouble finding stone) and made many design suggestions that I loved and that we were able to incorporate into the design. He suggested changing around the porch columns (which had rotted out), for example. He also gave me a few options of how to handle the area above our big front window- I love how it turned out. In the end, we got a new roof, new larger gutters, stone (Paignton from Rolling Rock Quarry) and Hardie Board / shingles (Monterey Taupe), proper flashing installed on all our windows, two new doors (due to rot), and new shutters. The pictures don't do it justice (and we need landscaping).

There's nothing I would change about the process except for hiring Miguel and his team earlier. Hiring them was the best decision we made.

Miguel immediately followed up, showed up the next day and completed the repair on my roof within the same day! Extremely fair and reasonable price. I will save his information for possible future use. I highly recommend.
