Spent the early morning in th er with my son. Doctor Nathan Stevens hands down is one of the most kind, gentle doctors. He really cares and you can tell. He takes the time to listen and answer any questions you may have. His bedside manner shines bright and is intriguing. I'm very impressed and that's hard to do. Nicely done Doc.

Sister life flighted in! Horrible pain infection and back injury, staff is great attentive, kind, made sure to address her pain while Drs worked at diagnosing the illness. We are very grateful for the awesome staff here at St Joseph hospital

My daughter and I had a very good experience at this hospital. She was treated kindly by staff, we were in and out with medication very quickly.

I just took my father here for breathing issues. We were seen right away, given extensive treatment almost immediately. Very good.

I was defiently skeptical of visiting this hospital because of the reviews and word of mouth from others experiences but I was pleasantly suprised. Of course I had to wait a while at times but the nurses and doctors were awesome. A special shout out to Nurse Heidi and Nurse Tania. They made me feel so comfortable and were very nice !

The waiting room, the 2 hour wait coupled with insincere attitude of staff surprised me for an ER especially during a semi quiet time in the morning. The saving grace was Dr Weiche! He was terrific.

I would rate lower if allowed. If you have an emergency or are sick between 3am and 5am, I was told there is only one doctor on staff, so if there are two emergencies only one is getting any care. My story is way too long to explain on here, I am very disappointed by the lack of compassionate care.

I took my daughter into the emergency room after getting a stint put on by paramedics for a dislocated patella. Paramedics told us to drive into the hospital, so we did. We got there and for two hours my daughter was screaming in pain with her knee being dislocated. At one point a patient waiting in the lobby went to the front counter and tried to offer up her spot for my daughter to get seen sooner. I then noticed they were taking someone that came in after us to x-ray. I addressed this with the front desk and they said they would contact the nurse. My daughter had no Tylenol or ibuprofen and her knee had no been popped into place yet. 20 minutes after talking to the front desk they brought her back for x-ray and then put us back in the waiting room giving her Tylenol. When we finally got back to a room, it took 2 minutes to pop her knee back in place. She spent over two hours in pain for something that could have been addressed quickly. I am very disappointed with the care of this emergency room. I should have driven to Childrens hospital. I absolutaley hate taking my children to the emergency room in Bellingham.

Horrible horrible care. Each nurse has a different way of doing things which leads to major inconsistencies with care. One nurse in particular refused to give me medication even though I was at extreme high risk of seizure. Awful place.

New to the area from Montana. My ex-wife keeps getting taken there when she has siezures. Just wow. I've been through field hospitals taking amputees that have taken better care of patients.
Never got her ID back from the last trip.

Literally the only good part of this “hospital” is its intake staff. Once you’ve done that, lmao good luck. I went in yesterday to the er. Didn’t even get a room. Got sat In The hallway for over 4 hours. No doctor made an attempt to look at my issues before they started prescribing stuff left and right. Ignored EVERYTHING I tried to tell them and sent me home with a pat on the back and two prescriptions for items i already owned. I’d rate this place with negative 50 stars if I could.

If there was any way I could give this hospital negative 50 stars I would. This is a horrible place and I urge you to take the drive to Skagit Valley or Everett if you possibly can. I have watched them mistreat people, leave them abandoned and neglected, kicking them out when they are in dire condition. My grandmother had a stroke and when they discharged her, they left her outside in a wheelchair completely unable to be aware of her surroundings, slipping out of her chair, completely unattended before any family could get there to pick her up. My mom was in there recently with covid, terribly sick, vomiting, dripping sweat, unable to stand, and after they took a look at her and did a couple of basic tests, they told her she needs to get up and leave because they need the beds for other patients. They made her sit by herself vomiting in a wheelchair in the waiting room for 5 hours when there was absolutely nobody else in the ER waiting for beds. They didn't offer her a blanket, any comfort, no compassion. The nurse came in and was so rude and said, "we have asked you to leave three times" while my mom was barely able to stand and she humbly said "please give me a moment I'm really trying to get moving here, I'm sorry". This place is horrible and I think that it will not stop until the community comes together with a huge lawsuit or they set entirely new protocols.

The worst example for a hospital I went there in extreme pain and I only seen the doctor one time and the nurse maybe twice. Nobody came to check on me or anything and I got sent home with the same pain and nothing to do about it the worst hospital ever.

WARNING: these people only care about their well being, something that shouldn’t be tolerated in a hospital.
This hospital is the worst that I ever visited, a day ago I went to pick up my son because he got injured in his ankle and the security officers neglected to assist/help him back onto the wheelchair. They laid out their protocol where they are not allowed to touch the patient due to the time we live in, but told us that only one family member can be let through. I, his mother asked to assist my son but they rejected my request which is odd and unprofessional to me for a mother seeing her son on the floor with a cast and not getting assistance is not something I would dare a mother to witness a scene like this.

Everyone in Bellingham hates Peace health. They own a monopoly in this area. Extremely overworked staff who don't care about you. Another example of Americas broken healthcare system.

I waited 5 hours to get checked and I’ve heard wait times can be even longer! They didn’t help with anything and now I have to go to the ER again, but I drove myself down to Seattle, it was faster than waiting there and probably more sophisticated care.

They lie. They're incompent and people die. I guess drive to Mt. Vernon, or take your chances.

This place is TERRIBLE !! My boyfriend went there to get a chest X-ray due to trouble breathing!!! They made him sit outside in the cold for 20 minutes, only invited him instead AFTER they came to check his oxygen but his body temperature was too low to get a clear reading.. I do not recommend this place‼

Filthy. It was freezing cold the entire time I was getting fluids. This hospital has gotten to the point where it doesn’t even look or operate like it’s in the United States. It needs a remodel, overhaul of staff, and hopefully a new company to take it over.
