The kindest, most knowledgeable doctor and tech I have ever had the pleasure to know. Dr. Badanes and Amanda have cared for my senior dog and his severe eye problems for months now and saved his sight!! They are amazing!!!

We had been referred to VRC because our cat needed specialist for cancer on his limb. They came highly recommended by a few individuals who also used VRC. They were amazing and I cannot believe how kind they were and we never felt rushed or what we were concerned about was blown off. We had an emergency with the mass opening and when I called the team and Dr. Coggeshall right away took our cat, Baron, and the whole team took amazing care of him. They called everyday with updates like they said and after the surgery the vet called us which put our mind as ease. I wish they were closer but for what we needed I would not hesitate to make the drive at all for the wonderful service and the staff. Thank you.

Last night, 2/3/24, my precious cat Gillie, experienced Grand Mal seizures back to back to back. This had never ever happened to her before! Each seizure got closer and closer together and my little sweet cat wasn’t recovering in between each one. She had probably 20+ in an hour. Since it was a Saturday night at 10pm, I had to find somewhere fast to rush her to. I found VRC Hospital in Malvern. I called ahead of time to let them know my emergency and they told me to pull right up to the front door. My car wasn’t even in park and a nurse came out opening my car door to get my cat and rush her back to the doctor. When I got inside, it was a beautiful animal hospital, incredibly clean, and only one other animal in the waiting area. 3 very sweet receptionists were working the front desk and checked me in and handed me tissues for my endless tears. After about 20 minutes or so, the doctor came out and we went into a room where she calmly, and gently broke the news about my cats prognosis and discussed my goals for her. The doctor was so professional, tender hearted and genuine. She allowed me to go back and say my goodbyes to my sweet friend and stay for her euthanization. The nurses were absolutely amazing and helpful and everyone took such good care of my cat in her last final moments here on earth. The receptionist was very gentle and tender when asking how I wanted to go about handling her remains. They offer an array of options as well as the option for keepsake paw prints. After Gillie was euthanized, they allowed me to take her to a quiet peaceful room to hold her while she was wrapped in blankets, and grieve for as long as I wanted. The entire process, although incredibly heartbreaking and unexpected, was nothing like I’ve ever had at any other Vet when my pet is euthanized. The entire process from my initial phone call, to the very end, was so nice. I can’t thank everyone enough at VRC Hospital Malvern. You guys are a great group of people that truly care and it shows! I highly recommend this vet to everyone!!!!

Our dog needed to have fluid drained from his lungs (he has cancer) and they were polite and professional. Staff was very friendly and prompt. Dr. Bartholomew explained everything simply and clearly. They kept us updated. Good experience.

So knowledgeable and professional. Both Andy, the tech and Dr. GUINAN gave their full attention and did not rush the visit.
I was impressed with Dr.Guinan’s approach to my dogs issues.
He is the first doctor to sit on the floor with one of my dogs during the entire visit. I couldn’t think of a better way to get to know a dog. I will follow doctor Guinan’s advice for treatment. I highly recommend VRC and Dr. GUINAN.

VRC was amazing. Our curious cat had a medical emergency we didn’t have an emergency vet said n hand. VRC was the first place that popped up on google. I called them in the middle of the night and they told us to come right in. They had a team waiting for us when we arrived. The staff took our cat right back and put him under anestesia immediately due to the amount of pain he was most likely in. My partner was a wreck but the staff were incredible comforting and reassuring. When it came time to pay the bill I was holding my breath, expecting to empty my savings account to cover surgery for our cat. When they told me the total I had to ask them to repeat themselves. I was expecting almost triple what they actually charged. VRC is now saved in my phone and will be my first call anytime we find ourselves in this situation again.

Everyone is so friendly, they are gentle with animals, loving and listen to your c9ncerns.

Dr. Neil did two orthopedic surgeries for our boy and took wonderful care of him during surgery and at his follow ups to make sure he is healing nicely.

My vet practice referred me to VRC for a condition on my 11 year old female Airedale that wasn't easy to diagnose. Dr Wiley examined Cleo and is in the process of tracking down possible issues. We were admitted promptly when we arrived. Staff was friendly, efficient, and professional. The facilities were spiffy clean, well organized, with ample room for the patients to not feel threatened. A great experience in an otherwise somber situation.

We have had our dog receive care from VRC several times over the last 5 years. Every single time it has been an amazing experience. The reception staff and support staff are always considerate and kind, the technicians clearly love what they do, and the vets are extremely talented. It has always been an incredible experience and we won't go anywhere else for emergencies and specialist care.

From our first contact on the phone with VRC we had a wonderful experience. The scheduling process was easy. Our 12 year old dachshund needed a teeth cleaning and evaluation for extracting infected teeth. We were given a convenient appointment time and once there, we were taken on time. The dental nurse, Kate, was personable, reassuring, thorough in her exam and explanation of what would happen. Dr. Chia, the veterinary dentist, was also very thorough, compassionate and asked if we had questions at every turn. We had very few questions because her explanations covered everything. On the day of Ralph's dental procedure, the experience was a repeat of the initial consultation--thorough, professional and very caring from the front desk, to the nurse, to the doctor. Dr. Chia stayed in phone contact with us at every step in the process, explaining what was needed for Ralph's health and involving us in the decision making process for his care.
Dental cleaning and extractions of teeth is a necessary but stressful experience for a dog and dog parents. The staff at VRC is expert at providing excellent care for both. Thank you.

Great emergency care for our three year old Sheepadoodle. Cautious and thoughtful advice. This is the only ER to which we will bring our three dogs. Highly recommend.

The staff and doctors at VRC took excellent care of my dog during an ER visit that lead to a 12 hour ICU stay. I can’t say enough about their kindness and expertise. I would definitely recommend them to anyone experiencing a scary moment with their pet like we did.

My 15 yr old teacup yorkie managed to fracture/break his lower jaw. He is mostly blind but it does not stop him from jumping up and off the couch. I originally took him to a different emergency vet which in hindsight I should have looked up a emergency vet that could even do anything about a jaw break. I ended up paying for ex-rays nd for a horrible experience. I spend 4hrs there because the vet kept "giving me time" to think about my next step (he suggested i put my dog down) even though I said I'd like to figure out surgery options as my dog is running around the office like nothing happened. It wasnt until i flipped out cursing asking him why he hasnt called other locations like he said he would get that he finally gave my the # to VRC. VRC suggested we come at 8am and they will try and squeeze us in as soon as there was a opening for him to be seen. Dr. Chia was amazing. Her positive attitude helped calm me down. She was realistic and totally understood why I felt putting him down was wrong. Unless you touched his face, he was running around, jumping, everything normal. They did extra testing to make sure he'd be able to handle the surgery. It was a night and day difference from what i experienced just 6hrs before. He was good to go and they were able to get him in later in the day. He did have a little feeding tube put in since he is such a small dog and missing even 1 meal would not be good for his recovery. Dr Chia and a tech did call us and go over recovery info ahead of time. I will say though, the tech that spoke to us when we picked him up that night attempted to go over medicine times and amounts, which was not the info we had already received. We just stuck to the instructions left for us by Dr Chia and my dog's recovery went well from day 1. The way they put the little stint in his mouth looked like a retainer. He ate on his own the entire time and was up and running around the very next morning. Driving to VRC is about an hr away but it is totally worth it.

Thank you so much. When our puppy was in need, VRC was there for her, even on Sunday morning. They are so courteous and caring. We are so happy to have them near by. Thank you so much.

VRC saved our dog's life. From intake, stabilization of health, MRI, finding root cause, to discharge all people were kind and informative. Daily updates while our dog was in ICU was helpful. The follow up call to check on our dog and make sure she was getting better and we understood the post recovery instructions was helpful.

My cat Max was recently admitted and had surgery at VRC in Malvern, PA. I cannot say enough of the excellent care that was provided by the entire staff at VRC. His surgeon Dr Ken Sadanaga and the nurses kept me informed of his progress during surgery and the days that followed.
I highly recommend the professional and caring staff at VRC for the critical care of your pets.

Compassionate, professional care. Everyone on their staff has been wonderful.
While all cancer specialists in my area were scheduling at least a month and a half out, VRC scheduled an appointment within a week after my dog was diagnosed with cancer by my local vet. I gladly travel @ 90 minutes each way for my dog's radiation and chemo treatments. They've been a blessing!

VRC Malvern Pennsylvania, can’t say enough positive statements about them. From every phone conversation to interactions with Dr Kevin Ware, radiation oncologist, who treats our dog has exceeded our expectations. We travel 535 miles round trip for our Gronk’s appointments and 100% glad we do

We experienced kind staff at the front desk. We were impressed that the nurse had obviously read our dog's medical history prior to our arrival. The doctor was knowledgeable, took time to hear our concerns and gave us honest feedback. We felt that the patient was of utmost importance in this practice and not our money. We are thankful for their time and care.

My pup spent two separate weeks in the hospital at VRC. Both stays were as positive as they could have been. I received updates as they were available, and I was able to call for an update any time I wanted - not once did they make me feel like I was being annoying by calling. I was able to visit my boy any time of the day as long as feeding/medications weren't being administered. During his second stay, they were able to diagnose him, and they saved his life. I am eternally grateful for the caring nurses and doctors at VRC, and I would recommend this vet ER to everyone!
