I received my phlebotomy degree in 2021. I had wanted to test going back to school at 30 and it went very well. My classroom teacher, Oscar was everything and more. The way this program ran was what I’d expect from any 4 year education. As far as your phleb teacher goes I believe it changes every couple years but I do know Sandy the head of phlebotomy, she really got me in by her encouragement and dealing with my constant email questions as well ;). I was thinking of bailing for life reasons and she encouraged me to continue and that was the push I needed. I’d recommend this school specifically for this program for essntially anyone looking to make more money and have a certificate nobody can take away from you. You’ll be able to work at any Inpatient hospital like Sacred Heart, Deaconess, Valley Hospital or Outpatient like Rockwood, Indigo, travel phleb opportunitis, etc. I’ve worked at CSL Plasma for the previous year and am a month in working at Deaconess Hospital and I make $18 + $3/3.50 per hour for working night shift. $2.00 for evening shift. Note: Due to the recent strike wages will jump anywhere between 10 & 17% in the next month :D Hope this helps

Loved my time learning and working at SCC, worked as a work study for IT for 5 months, just a great campus, and people wish them all wonderful lives as I move on to better things.

I have made several trips to the college and each time I received a warm welcome, my questions were always answered, and staff politely directed me to the buildings I needed to be in. I am really looking forward to starting school!

I went to the Orlando’s restaurant here that is run by the Inland Northwest Culinary Academy for lunch and I was extremely impressed. The food was delicious and the prices were incredible, a true fine dining experience on a budget! I would highly highly recommend dropping by for lunch, or ordering takeout!

I'm very thankful I attended the EMT program at SCC. The instructors here are great, and I've already practiced EMS in many states! I passed my NREMT, first attempt with 75 questions in 40 minutes.

Overall, my experience at SCC has been a positive one. I'd love to see the college have a Advanced EMT program, or Paramedic class. I wouldn't hesitate to sign up for one or both!

Have not been a student there since 2011 so finding the new STA transfer station there was simple but hidden from where it was previously. While a student at SCC I had great and valuable experiences that were applicable to entering the world of work in my chosen field.

I honestly couldn't have asked for a better experience than I had at SCC. The campus was, to my surprise astoundingly peaceful and invigorating. Between the raw metal sculptures, and circular Stonehenge like stage I never wanted to have class inside if I could help it and luckily for me most students and teachers felt the same way.
The lessons, skills, and self discipline that I learned at SCCreally became cornerstones to who I am as a man and who I aspire to become as a person.
I think it goes without saying that a college is really only as good as the professors that it houses.

My experience was fantastic! You get what you put into your education, thus the teachers notice and respond to you're willingness to succeed. There are a lot of negative reviews on here, and to most of them I say, "welcome to the REAL world!"

I love SCC! I've been going here for about 2 years and its amazing, they always try and make everything easy as pie. It is a business though and there is sone issues, ctc link was a mess for a while, but its getting better. Then the system change spring quarter made everything a mess. Not only am I a student at SCC, I work for them as an office assistant (through work study.) Which isan amazing program :)

For a community college, its great. Don't expect much because your basically getting cheap education. If you want to go somewhere cleaner and more "civilized" then go pay 36,000 at gonzaga.

If you are looking for CDL, this the right place they even help with the fees if you are eligible. If you are receiving public assistance such as food stamps or TANAF they might pay you if not all at least 80%,and help you to find another program to pay the rest.
