Sarg Hubbard Park

Peaceful green park, with a lake and wetland nearby. It is an excellent choice of detour at this point from Yakima Greenway trail along the river. Far view to highway, and further to Mt Rainer (although half blocked by hills). At the south, a wetland with a small pond/lake living birds and flowers.

Safe play area for small children. Easy access and plenty of parking. Good restrooms. A great covered structure with plenty of picnic tables you can reserve

Beautiful park! Not hard to get to, TONS of open space, and it looks like some nice trails as well. There is a good mix of options at this park - some playgrounds, a lot of grassy areas, hills, and walking trails.

VERY beautiful mountain views - several very nice overlooks. This is a great park for a picnic, to take a walk in, to relax. It is dog friendly and my dog had a great time! It was not too crowded on a weekday afternoon. Bathrooms are available and there is plenty of space for parking.

Cuz it was a great environment for my children and there was restrooms around. There's a great nature walk it's beautiful park. So so a great place to host an event.

Such a beautiful fall day all of the colors changing, Park is very well maintained. The playground is in good condition kids are having a blast running around playing. Everyone else walking is so polite, just out enjoying the beautiful weather.

Lots of parking, a nice play area for kids, and an interesting place for a walk, run, or bike ride.

Went fishing with my son and his best friends. When pond was closing a lot of people stayed and kept on fishing., The fishing was great!! Hoping that they have the kids fishing this year. The children of Yakima need it, lots of fun for all.

Wonderful open space park by the river with green grass, shade trees, ample parking, waste bins, and well-tended restroom facilities. Home to flocks of geese that roam the grounds in Summer.

Nice beautiful park next to walmart.

Came here for the first time on 9/18/22 to help with the search for a missing child. I was surprised at how clean and well maintained this park is. The trails are easy to navigate, there is a nice playground here. Other than feeling bad for the missing child, it looks like a nice place to hang out, plus it’s next to Walmart in case you run short on picnic supplies.

Very large, clean, accessible, fun park for the whole family. We love taking the kids in spring for the fishing event. We've gone to a couple of car shows and they have been awesome. The play area for kids is great. You can have out door events like birthdays at rentable spots which are shaded. Just a great place to visit

Great views of town and the Yakima river. There is a nice war memorial, playground and the Greenway trail for walking and biking.

Really really nice park kinda duck and geese poopy near the water but hey they were here first. Nice and big and green bleachers for I guess concerts tables covered areas nice workers in gold carts bring dogs on leashes only bathrooms no food long walking paved trails and bike rides. Lake I assume you can get fish there are signs about youth fishing allowed and over 70 allowed to fish only in the lake ? I would recommend this park for all kinds of stuff for kids in play land area
