I had been recommended this place by a friend of mine who goes a few times a year. I’ve passed by the restaurant many times without noticing it, but this was my mistake.

This Korean BBQ place is modern but with what I can imagine is a traditional taste. I’ve not had Korean BBQ before, but this was a good introduction into it.

I’ll attack pictures. We started with the beef bulgogi lettuce wraps. They were very tasty and had a bunch of ingredients to put on it.

My wife ordered the braised beef ramen. The beef was very tender and the serving size was very large.

I ordered the pork belly dan dan. I’ve never had pork belly before and it was so amazing! It was soft and almost buttery in texture as it fell apart on my fork. The noodle were good also, and it was very spicy which I loved.

For dessert, we had some bon bons with a matcha infused caramel center. They were very tasty, albeit a little small and pricey.

The server Hunter was superb and deserves extra praise. He was extremely attentive and careful not to disturb us while taking care of our plates and silverware. He knew the best times to come over and was very polite at all times. He is a perfect model for servers.

I am moving out of town soon, so I am not sure if I will be able to go back. I would highly recommend anyone else in the area to please visit Oori.

The food was fresh, well made, and had good presentation. The atmosphere was laid back with good lighting. Our server was nice and knowledgeable of the menu. We got the Ramen and Dan Dan Noodles. We will return!

We went to Oori on a whim, just spotting it looking at a different restaurant. Thank god the recommendation came up though because it was really good.

We had the Dan Dan noodles and fried chicken and finished with Matcha ice cream. Everything we ate was very flavourful and tasty. The ambience of the place is very pleasant and we felt very comfortable. Our server was polite and friendly and happy to answer all the questions we had.

Overall we were very happy and will surely be back multiple times.

This is the first time we were back to Oori since the pandemic, and it was great to see that the food quality and service had not fallen off, like so many other restaurants. We started with the fried cauliflower, which was spicy and delicious. My wife got the Dan Dan Noodles. She said they were excellent and spicy! They came with a honey butter that could be added to calm the spice down a little. I got the blackened salmon with bok choy, and was very pleased with the dish. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the bok choy was delicious. Our server was friendly and on point with her service. We plan on putting Oori into our regular dining rotation.

Service was excellent. Felt taken care of the entire time, the food was amazing. Had the duck leg bibimbap which was outstanding and priced accordingly. Looking forward to returning in the future.

Ok there is alot to say about this place.

-Atmosphere: They nailed decorating. Everyone likes something different in atmosphere, but this was my cup of tea. While it’s an open design, the dining room is not big enough to be too loud, and that is a hard balance to find.
-Staff: Man alive, they couldn’t have been more friendly or accommodating. And it wasn’t just our waitress, her fellow employees and manager matched her energy and brightness. 10/10 on wait staff.
-Food: Flavor was great, quality was good, and the presentation was amazing. This may have been personal, but I liked the look of our plates. Defiantly not food from a bag, and if it is, aces on making it not taste that way.
-Price: Not bad at all. I honestly think their prices are pretty reasonable.

*What I Wished I knew*
-Food: It’s American styled Korean Food, in my opinion. And while that didn’t ruin it for me I felt under prepared for that. More than once I found my self imagining the sauces or seasonings were on American food, and not what it would taste best on (if that makes sense). *No stars off. Food was still good*
-Space: It’s SMALL. This restaurant it tiny, and I imagine when there’s a rush that’s not fun. But now you know, and can plan accordingly. *you get the building you get. No stars off*

First time here and it was wonderful! Friendly and attentive waiter & manager. We reserved our seat online, not sure if walk-ins were allowed.

Ordered:
Shredded pork bao bun - juicy meat

12 piece Korean fried chicken - half and half chosen from 10 flavors (forget which flavors we chose, but it was crispy and tasty. They were nice enough to provide moist toilettes for cleaning off the sticky sauces from our hands)

Tonkotsu ramen - tasty pork belly (could be more tender), nice runny egg, good broth

Spicy fried chicken ramen - crispy skin with tender meat, warming mix of gochujang and miso broth

We dined in, but we noticed the welcoming front awning/patio which has recessed lighting and speakers projecting the music from indoors. There's also tables with umbrellas if you want more sunshine.

Will be back soon for dine-in or takeout!

Atmosphere is clean and minimalistic. The music was a 30 something person's hit list, I was jamming out the whole time. THE FOOD WAS FANTASTIC!!!! I like their simple menu. I especially enjoyed the bulgogi lettuce wraps, the wings are perfectly cooked- crunchy/crispy outside with the tender chicken inside. The dan dan noodles were EXCELLENT but they are spicy. I would highly recommend Oori. They are practicing all social distance protocols, but if you prefer, they have takeout.

We had a very nice time with good service. The food is not fast but it's fine because it's tasty. The seasonal menu is refreshing. I'll be back to try the Korean fried chicken. everyone at the table enjoyed their dish

Had a good mix of different things from the menu and everything was great. Tofu rice bowl and the spicy chicken ramen were awesome. Will definitely be going back to sample more and I doubt I'd be disappointed.

Wonderfully simple Korean Restaurant. We were there for lunch with a group of nine. Good service, simple atmosphere and delicious food. One of my favorites were the Miso Honey Mustard Wings. They had a wonderful wasabi taste to them. The flavors of the entire meal were delicious, subtle and not overpowering. Definitely worth the trip.

Fantastic new-ish establishment. They get their liquor license soon, but are BYO until then. Both wonderful things.

The owner is ambitious af w/ 4 establishments opening up with various food types - Italian, southern, a coffee shop. He seems to have a great sense for quality and good eats no matter the region.

The food was all outstanding, and they even gave us some stuff on the house to try. Go out of your way for this one :)

First time here and definitely not the last! We got the deviled eggs, bao buns, Korean fried chicken wings, and their shoyu ramen. I don't remember our servers name, but she was a really kind and friendly older blonde lady and made us feel right at home. The wings were juicy, super crispy, and the sauces were delicious. The bao was soft, and the eggs were super creamy! The atmosphere was chill and refreshing, and we'll be regulars here. 👏🏻

I went here for a late lunch with friends and we wanted to try as much as we could so we ended up splitting everything. The staff was so accommodating to that and even offered us clean share plates every so often. The chicken and pork in general is so freaking incredible. You absolutely need the pork bao buns and you definitely need the wings they're the crunchiest wings ever. MY ONLY HANGUP, and this is just a personal opinion which is why I can't dock them on it, is the kimchi. It's just too thinly sliced so you don't have the crunchy texture and it all just mushes together. The flavor of the kimchi is excellent but I just personally like a kimchi that has long cuts and crunchier veggies. Other than that one small thing I enjoyed everything. The staff was so kind and the atmosphere was nice and relaxing. I'll definitely be coming back again!

Our experience was far from ordinary. We made a 40 minute drive, walked in, and the power unfortunately had just gone out. They told us we were still welcome to sit and wait until the power came back, but they had no guarantee of when that might be. Without power, they had a very limited menu, but they provided us with complimentary drinks and some fried chicken. Amazing customer service, quick thinking, and friendly atmosphere. They accommodated us even without power and it really showed their dedication to serving great food. Definitely coming back here!

Super good food. I like the twist on traditional Korean food. They change the menu seasonally as well. I will be coming back.

They offer some gluten-free options, too.

Such a cute little hidden restaurant. Amazing food and they have some really good vegan options. Staff super friendly, really clean with a slight touch of modern interior. Highly recommend going to oori if you're in the area.
