We recently purchased a Mighty Mac wood chipper. It is absolutely amazing, chips in a couple of hours what would take us a weekend with our old chipper. We have a small ranch on the western slope in Colorado and I can not say enough on how this works for our fire mitigation. One of our best tool investments we have made. Awesome machine.

I have 2 used and ancient MacKissic Might Macs. Both are hammer mills, but one has a chipper port and blade, and the other is a plain hammer mill. These things are so old I have no reference to what model or year they are. But they work like beasts. I use them for making compost starting materials. They will work on dry and fresh green material. They require learning a knack to operate without clogging, but they work tirelessly. One is gas and the other the engine was removed and replaced with a large old electric motor. It does not stop the Mighty Mac from doing the job well, and I like the zero emission.

I have an older Merry Mack (the brand sold by Northern Tool) VCB. Traded an old Speedex tractor project for it a few years ago. MacKissick's customer support is second to none whenever I need to procure replacement parts to keep it operating. I mean, you dial their 1-800 number and an actual HUMAN BEING answers the phone! Contemplating upgrading to a new one in a few years and I know which brand I'll be buying to replace it.(I'm not getting any younger, methinks I want an electric start unit. lol)

Since 2009 I have owned operated maintained and kept a MacKissic MightyMac leaf vacuum model VCB1100. I wore out a Briggs and Stratton 11 HP motor and replaced it with same make and model. The serrated teeth on the original mulching cutter wheel wore their length or depth beyond re-sharpening so I'm planning to replace it this year 2021. The teeth get worn gradually by dirt in the leaves and that cannot be helped. Leaf cleanup work doesn't pay well yet it is an essential activity for property upkeep, especially property that's being sold. I have enjoyed every call or email to MacKissic...they know how to service customers.

High quality equipment and the staff to match. Every employee is so pleasant and easy to work with and has a high standard of providing the best service or product that their position entails. The quality of the product delivered to the end user is the finest possible. Better than expected. The employees reflect that with their attitude that they enjoy what they do and who they work for. Hard to find anymore. Happy employees generally produce quality...... highly recommend.

Super friendly and helpful staff. They answered my questions about some of the chipper/shredders they offer and put me in touch with a dealer in my area who had the model I wanted available for purchase. Here's a repeat of a post I just made on Facebook. "For YEARS, I've been filling the back of my Prius (yes... l'il Toyota Prius) with yard waste; nuts (hundreds of lbs of black walnuts annually), sticks, and small branches.
Between me loosing patience waiting in line at the land fill to deposit my hard waste (they have an active composting facility) and them recently implementing a $5 minimum charge to dispose of yard waste (under 100 lbs used to be free), I decided to bite the bullet and invest in a hammer mill style chipper/shredder.
MacKissic Inc. produces the unit I purchased... the Mighty Mac SC800. It cost a little more than some other residential-appropriate chipper/shredders and boy does it PERFORM! It was easy for me to start (slipper clutch) and has already proven to be supremely capable.
I had a pile of branches from a recent storm that was easily 6 feet cubed; a non trivial pile! In less than 2 hours of effort, the entire pile has been converted to mulch that is now covering one of my landscape beds. To-do, ta-done! Thank you!"
