Warren S. Taranow DO

I saw Dr. Taranow two years ago and he was wonderful. He’s professional, yet approachable and such a nice human. He was able to use less hardware than anticipated, and I had a great outcome from my surgery. I recently injured my other ankle, and he will be my surgeon again.

I just had the second of two foot surgeries with Dr. Taranow. He is very busy, but very nice. I have a very complicated surgical history with 9 total surgeries on my foot and ankle since childhood. There are limits to how much each surgery was able to accomplish, but I have dramatic improvement from my original issues. I will most likely come to him if I need surgery again. There are no guarantees with surgery, everyone's bodies respond differently depending on many different issues. Surgery is a gamble. It risks your life. You are making the choice that the chance of improvement is worth the risk. If you want a lot of one on one attention, this is not the right surgeon for you. But if you want someone who will do their best to fix the issue you came in for Dr. Taranow is someone I trust.

I was thoroughly pleased with the entire process of reconstructive foot surgery by Dr. Taranow. I sought his skills at the recommendation of my general practitioner and now recommend him to anyone I know who is looking for help with foot or ankle pain. He is extraordinarily positive and professional.

What happened to the two one-star reviews concerning Dr. Warren Taranow? It's easy for an unethical physician to buy "high reviews" and also pay people to spam the true one-star comments in an attempt to have them removed.

My experience with Dr. Warren Taranow was horrific. His words to me during my post-surgery follow-up visit were, "Wow! This is some great work". He never bothered to ask how I was doing and or how I was feeling. This disgusting experience sickened me. Worse, was dealing with his office staff which made follow up visits and medication refills a nightmare.

Well after a year long complications from his surgery all due to him i give him zero stars. Very nice (inperson)though if you can actually speak to him. Will not call you back at all... dependant on immediate staff who dont care about you or to relay message. When you meet with him in person its idont know i dont know. Well have you seen this before??? One time welll???? what happended to that patient.Crickets??????? He seems to have head issues. Would constantly apologize for his behavior tell me hes working on his behavior then go back and say i dont know i dont know. Kicked me out of his practice last week all the while still in therapy(PT) and have a bone stimulator(in middle of treatment) . Have contacted risk mgmt 2X over his bad treatment. during the last year Management will not address his issues because of lack of providers(fo0t/ankle) per the area and protect him. He is an embarrassment. Dont waste your time because if your situation is anything outside what HE FEELS is normal YOU WILL BE ABANDONED. Childish toddler behavior (a 59yo man). He should be reported to WA state. I know i am not the only patient abandoned by this clown. You have been warned....... Others providers there are wonderful. Hes dispicable very shocking. I think the reviews are scrubbed
