I purchase my African cichlids from here and the customer service is always top notch. And the fish always look happy and healthy. The prices are in matched. it's always a pleasure to purchase from a small business

This place is my favorite pet store in the area. Hands down, they have a great if not the best selection or they can help you find everything you need. Also their prices are sometimes half what they are at competitors stores. And lastly they have a lot of personal knowledge to the animals and pets that they sell and take care of that is the most important thing and these guys are top-notch with it.

I got a puppy from a week ago. He is absolutely adorable and we are in love with him. When we purchased him of course there is a contract and paperwork detailing how many days you have to report any issues. We took him to the vet within 5 days ( hard to get a new puppy in to clinics around here). He unfortunately does have an issue that is going to be a life long issue but with patients and work and tons of love that he will get from us he will have an amazing life. I called to let them know. I first spoke with Dustin who was awesome and understanding, then I called back next day to speak with the owner Sue. She gave me many different options to make good on the paperwork. Of course we could have gave him back because we did not purchase a puppy knowing he is deaf. It’s not her fault he is deaf nor would she have fully known I am sure. She gave me 3 different options. And I went in with the paperwork from my vet and she made good on her word. They were so kind, very respectful, and very understanding. I brought my little guy in to let them see him again also. Like I said they were awesome with me and so kind and kept to their word. I know in the future we will want to adopt again, but just can’t right now. We want to give our time and energy in teaching our little guy sign language and hand commands so he can have a normal as possible life. I know I have read review that we’re not so kind but I believe that you do not get anywhere by being mean or ugly. Kindness is what I gave when I called and that is what was given back to me. I appreciate them very much for making the process smooth and keeping to their word. Again I appreciate them making good on their word and it not being a hassle. Beside his issue I cannot say anything mean about them. They treated us well. Thank you again!! Angie’s ( little lamb) Mama!!

I went there today after buying fish from Petco in DuBois a little over a week ago and they died on me within two days. This place was very knowledgeable very helpful going that extra mile to appreciate you as a customer. So if anyone is considering getting any type of animal supplies or buying a pet for a pet even a dog leash I would go there instead of Petco where they want to give you sick and dying animals... And don't care once they get the money they don't want to help you

Friendly staff, willing to take the time to answer questions about their animals, fish, reptiles, puppies, etc. My kids convinced me to start an aquarium and the employees were happy to help and educate us maintenance, set up, along with how to care for the fish, feeding and water issues.

Great locally, and family-owned pet store! Love going in to pick up supplies and looking to see what new. Staff are very knowledgeable and deal with a lot of grief about customers not being able to hold the puppies and kitties. This is a pet store, not a petting zoo. They are just trying to protect the animals.

Very knowledgeable, kind staff. Clean. I liked the fact that they did NOT have puppies in cages for sale. I have always had a hard time going in this store when they have puppies. No "reputable" breeder would send their beloved puppies to a pet store, any pet store!!!!

Love going to this store. They always have cute puppies. Was surprised to see the baby American alligator there though and would advise everyone to definitely not buy one of these. Giving a 5 star review because I've loved this place since I was a kid but they definitely shouldnt be selling gators as pets.

Nice pet store, they have all the odd pet stuff you could ever need. Lots of fish for sale. Even able to buy gold fish to feed to the live piranha they have here. lots of lizards and rodents for sale as pets too.

The first time I went, I just looked around at the nice variety of pets but didn't buy anything. But today I went and got swordtails and some other fish with little beards. The employee was very helpful and sympathetic.

We found everything we needed. The lady working was fabulous. The power went out while we were there and she handled it like a pro. It's a regular stop for us even when we don't need anything.

I love Pet Place (the pet store inside of the Dubois Mall). They have even more of a variety, when it comes to small animals, than the DuBois Petco has; i.e. "small animals" meaning gerbils, rats, mice, hamsters etcetera.

Not only do I love buying my fish from there. But, I got all my ferrets there too. I love shopping here☺

Face it if you go to the Dubois Mall mall you are gonna end up walking the the one and only Dubois Mall Zoo and Aquarium! Lol 🤣 Dont forget to feed the Florida Gar and Piranhas while you're there.

Awesome staff. Good selection for a small store and willing to help track down specific needs. All purchases have met expectations.
