Cowiche Canyon Kitchen & Ice House Bar

There is not much in Yakima. Stayed here for a clinical rotation on several occasions and struggled to find really good food. I came across this gem when my preceptor took some of us out here last month. I was really impressed with the food. So much so that today “a month later” I had to come back and get the steak salad. Seriously good. The chimichurri sauce they use is phenomenal. Steak was perfectly cooked. Service was fast and our meal came out pretty quick. Great staff. Will definitely come back during next rotation.

Food was absolutely delicious!!!! Perfect portion sizes. We left feeling satisfied. Can't wait for our next visit.

We’ve eaten here a few times now when we come to town, it’s become my wife’s favorite place to eat in Yakima. Located in down town Yakima it’s easy to get to and it’s a fun up beat atmosphere. The staff have always been super friendly and do an awesome job taking care of you. Food comes out in a timely manner and good size portions. In the past I’ve ordered the burger, wings, and a few other dishes and they’ve all been great. My wife usually does the Thai salad and she loves it. This time I did the steak salad and it was great. If your looking for an up beat place, a date spot, or are just in town and looking for a good lunch or dinner spot, I would recommend coming here. The food is great, I’m not a big drinker but the dinks look awesome and they have a good size drink menu.

Great food. We got the breaded chicken sandwich and the prime rib. Both were perfectly seasoned and juicy. The shoestring fries were a hit too! Yummy!

This place has been a consistent pleasure, the staff is attentive (even on busy nights) and the food and drinks are always on point. We live on the West Side of the state but visit here every time we are in Yakima. Thank you for the consistency!

Tiffiny and I went in for a quick bite and a drink, and we are definitely happy we did. Everything was delicious, and the staff and service were great. We will be back next time we are in Yakima. Now for the drive back to the Tri-Cities.

We met family for dinner and everyone really enjoyed Cowiche Canyon Kitchen. We parked in the large parking lot to the north of the restaurant. As we entered the establishment we was met with the hostess who cheerfully seated us in a nice area of the restaurant good for communications. We ordered different items and each was served well prepared and very delectable with pairings. It appears they bake their own bread? We will plan to revisit this fine fun restaurant. Restrooms are clean and well maintained. Wait staff is charmingly happy and helpful. I highly recommended Cowiche Canyon Kitchen.

Delish! Must get the artichoke. The Korean Califlower Tips were amazing! I want more. Many good food choices and many great drink options as well. My family stops in every time we are in Yakima. Definitely recommend.

Came for a lunch date & this place did not disappoint. All the dishes we tried were amazing. Well cooked meats and fresh vegetables. Our favorite was the Korean Beef Tips. Our waitress was attentive and friendly.

Exceptional experience. The wait staff is terrific and overly attentive. The short ribs and International Harvester are highly recommended. Good reviews from table on Tortilla Soup and Guac. Dog Friendly as well. We will back!

What a stunning spot! We stopped here for lunch on a road trip and loved everything about it. Elevated menu and gorgeous architecture. The service was perfect and so friendly. I got the sparkling rose and a Vietnamese shrimp noodle bowl. I could have used more protein for the price.

My friends got the Chinese chicken salad and the chicken sandwich and everyone was happy

Everyone is super kind and it’s a great atmosphere. Had the Farm Water drink from the ice house and it was amazing!

Love this place! The architecture is phenomenal, the staff is super sweet and the food is in point. I have eaten here many times and feel bad for not leaving a review sooner. Today all I had was the tortilla soup and it was phenomenal. The soup was very filling, tasty and wonderful. Highly recommend checking this place out.

My wife and I both really enjoyed this restaurant. When we go out to restaurants we hope they have menu items that we would not make for ourselves at home. It just adds to the experience of going out. We had the Vietnamese bowl and the chicken skewers. Both were excellent. I don't know what the hot pepper was in the Vietnamese bowl but it really had a kick. I had the bar make me a margarita and it was one of the best I've had in a long time. It was not overly sweet and it had a nice tartness to it. We will be back the next time we are in Yakima.

Parking can be tough to find during peak hours due to so many establishments in the area, but well worth the wait or walk. Restaurant is gorgeous, staff is very attentive and food is spectacular. Started off with chips & guac, wifey ordered the steak and I grabbed grilled shrimp salad.

Wow! Extremely impressed with the quality of the food, the friendliness of the staff, and the elemental vibe of the place (large windows for natural lighting, large stone and wood themes, potted plants scattered throughout). If I could go here every weekend, I would. The menu has a wide variety of entrees and appetizers. Their selection of wines and local brews are great too! Highly recommend this restaurant!

The food was absolutely exquisite! Beautiful atmosphere and stunning decor. The service was impeccable, very kind and knowledgeable of everything on the menu. I will most definitely be coming back with my family.

We were in town for the State Dance/Drill Championships and were lucky enough to find this amazing spot. Great food, great service and delicious drinks. We ate there both nights as they have big tables in the back that could handle our group of ten without a problem. Gluten free and vegetarian options are available.

Recently started eating at this restaurant. Food is stellar. Steak Salad was fantastic! Getting rid of the Tandori Wings though. A great dish, but I will still go for the other food. I highly recommend this place.

Really great service here, had the Hong Kong chicken chop salad. My friend had the prawn and avocado salad. Both were really good! Someone at the next table had the tortilla soup which looked fabulous. If I'm ever in Yakima again I will come back!
