Oxford Suites Yakima

My family stayed here to be in walking proximity of the Jewel of the Valley Marathon. Expectations were exceeded! Super friendly staff, rooms were very clean, beds comfortable & their breakfast had a great spread & was delicious! Pool only went to 4’ deep, but that was plenty deep enough for my youngest to have a blast. We did not utilize the evening patio beverages/snacks or the exercise room due to limited time. The river view was beautiful. If we come back to Yakima, we will stay here. Thank you!

I had stopped in for a meeting in one of their boardrooms in the hotel so I didn't make it into any rooms but I did see a gentleman bring what he said was a dead roach from his room to the front desk. The front desk contacted building maintenance immediately to address the problem. I'm not sure it was a roach but I was impressed with the professionalism of the front desk employee who calmly handled the situation by explaining it wasn't a roach but a river bug. The hotel backs up to the river and rooms have sliding doors onto the balcony overlooking the river. My guess is that is how the bug entered the gentleman's room.

I'm having a great first stay at this hotel. It's quiet & has a nice little pedestrian path along the river, right behind the building. The location is perfect for me, as it sits right in a central area for the work that I do when I stay in Yakima. I will update my review with more details after a few more stays. To sum things up, it's much better than my previous accommodations.

We spent New Years eve here in a jacuzzi room. The room was absolutely amazing. Check in was fast and simple. Night staff and day staff were so friendly and polite. The room was so immaculate, very clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, super soft pillows! The view from our balcony was beautiful. Would definitely recommend to stay here!

Staff was extremely friendly. Rooms were clean. We arrived a few hours early, but we had no issues being able to check in.
We were also given a free welcome beverage, which was a nice surprise.
We loved having the river and its walking path right outside our door.
We would definitely stay here again.

Loved how soft the beds were. Very quiet hotel. We had a view of the river and it was beautiful. The kids had fun in the pool. Would definitely stay here again!

Loved the deck with the river running by. Breakfast was great! Pool and hot tub clean and indoor. Great place. Would stay again. Would recommend.

Hospitality is excellent! The bartender was so kind. The ladies at the breakfast buffet were friendly. Room was clean, spacious and very comfortable. Highly recommend the King Suite with river view.

The staff was very kind and always willing to help! Breakfast service, evening reception service and especially house keeping! Big thank you to Griselle in house keeping for taking care of our room! She was so kind and helpful. 4 star for rooms mainly because they are dated. Outlets are hard to use.

We have stayed her twice now and haven't had any issues. We had different rooms each time and the beds were more comfortable than any other hotel we have stayed at. Swimming pool and breakfast was great for the kids.

We stay here any time we're in Yakima. We get a room with a river view and love watching it. We also like the Yakima Greenway path that runs along the river below. The breakfast is always good, and we've enjoyed the social hour when there's one when we're there.

Staff was super friendly had great check in person, rooms were nice only bad thing I could say bout mine is when walked in smelled like b o but I opened patio door and sprayed sum body spray than it was so much better. The only real disappointment was breakfast, bacon was not cooked all way and my granddaughter got a pancake and when she went to take bite it was not cooked all way through. But again there was only 2 ppl cooking for all guest so they probably need a little more help. Pool and spa were great! I would absolutely recommend this place to stay!

Very nice people at front desk. Great room. Got one with jacuzzi. Push button twice to come on. Very nice. I would stay there again.

Oxford Suites is an awesome place to stay if you are in Union Gap/Yakima! The staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and fresh, and Philippe and Meridith make an AMAZING breakfast (included in stay)! Thanks so much for always making my stay awesome as always!

Nice breakfast and a free drink in the evening. Large and comfortable rooms.

We have stayed here before and enjoyed our stay, but this time there was a basketball tournament with thousands and thousands of children there making lots and lots of noise till late in the night hard to go to sleep we got up early and left. Not worth the $252 we paid to stay there.

The room was large with a separate room with a chair and couch and the TV. You can close the pocket doors to close off the TV room from the bed. Our room also had a great small balcony overlooking the river.

Very nice place. They work hard to make you feel at home. The place is clean, in an easy to access area, nice view of the river, and I have no clue where they find such nice folks to staff it. Nothing negative, all positive.

Had an amazing stay at the Oxford suites. The staff was kind and courteous. The room was in excellent condition with a great view of the river from my balcony. Definitely would stay here again and recommend to others as well.

We had a great view of the river, and we had a cute little balcony. Also, our was quiet. We were on the top floor. The elevator worked great and was quick. Breakfast was great. The bed sheets were clean and crisp. However, the bathroom and several counter tops needed attention. Especially the bathtub. We left a nice tip for our cleaning staff because perhaps they were not the last to clean the room, and I appreciate all they do since years ago, I had a job just like that at a hotel. It's a thankless, never-ending task filled job.
