Good Shepherd Bible Church

Our family loves this church! The pastors and elders love Gods word. It is faithfully taught every Sunday in a verse by verse, book by book fashion. People are loved and encouraged here. It feels like a family. We are so glad we found this church!

Love that Pastor Jeremy preaches what the Bible says, which is truth. Such a loving, caring place to be! God is good all the time. I'm so happy we found this church! :-)

This church has become like true family to us. We have been attending for about 9 years and I've seen so much growth in my own walk with the Lord, my family's too. Solid biblical teaching in grace and truth. Pastor Jeremy and the elders are so intentional and lead the congregation well. It is exciting to go to church every Sunday and learn from God's word through expository preaching. What a blessing this church has been! So friendly, loving, graceful, and real. Come as you are, but don't expect to stay that way! There is a true hunger for the word of God that is so beautiful!

As of this writing I have been attending Good Shepherd for almost 18 months. In my opinion, God's Word is held in the highest regard here- solid Biblical preaching that is sadly increasingly rare in this day and age. The congregation is very warm & friendly as well- wonderful people indeed. Come as you are but expect to be transformed!

Eight years ago I moved into a neighborhood near Good Shepherd Bible Church and soon after the Holy Spirit moved me to attend church once again after many years. I thought I would begin with then-named Good Shepherd Community Church as it was the closest church to my house, and I never looked back. You will experience solid, well-researched, Christ-centered expositional preaching from Pastor Jeremy Pickens and will feel a warm, welcoming embrace from the congregation. Pastor Jeremy has a genuine love for the Lord and goes out of his way to get to know each and every person he meets at the church. Through his sermons he will frequently emphasize how important it is to realize both the love of God AND the wrath of God, which are not mutually exclusive! Come as you are, but you won’t be staying as you are for long!

My family & I started attending Good Shepherd in 2020 after having been searching for a new church for a couple months. We were welcomed into this incredible church with open arms and immediately felt like family. The Biblical teaching and community that Good Shepherd offers is like none other. We are so blessed to call this church our home now!

We came to GS in 2019. I was raised in the church and served in ministry for many, many years. In the 3 years we've been at GS I have heard expository teaching in ways I've never before experienced. What a joy it has been to sit under Pastor Jeremy's preaching and meet his wife, Jenny, and many other wonderful people at the church.

I cannot say enough great things about this church, the people and the pastoral staff. It is a Bible believing, Bible teaching, Christ seeking fellowship. Pastor Jeremy loves the Lord, preaching the truth ( the whole Bible is taught, not just what people like to hear) and has a heart for people. He preaches the truth with no holds barred (which is how it should be...... you will not hear prosperity gospel preached here). We moved out of the area and one of the hardest things about the move was leaving this group of people who love God and were like family to us.

Look forward to Sundays so much! Love the teaching/preaching from Pastor Jeremy. Ladies Bible Study is very good as well. The congregation is warm and friendly. So glad we are here!

Pastor Jeremy is an excellent preacher of God's word. It is obvious that much prayer goes into each of his sermons. If you are hungry for the truth, and are looking for a church that teaches the Bible unapologetically, then this is the church for you.

This is an excellent and solid church that believes and teaches the Bible faithfully, and the people are friendly and welcoming. Whether you are looking to attend church for the first time or are looking to join a local fellowship, all are welcome here and the good news is for all of us, no matter your background! I really appreciate that they teach through the Bible passage by passage and aren’t afraid of the tough questions and passages. If you are reading this, I hope you come visit us!

Children and adults and elderly are all happy. Pastor focuses on the word of God and doesn't get into politics and worldly conflicts.

I have been attending this church since 2016. I love the teaching, the people and the dedication our pastor has for ensuring we have a Biblical foundation for navigating life.

I've heard that you "come to the altar to be altered." This is what happens every weekend. Pastor Jeremy brings the Bible to life!

God the Creator and sustainer or all, sent His Son, Jesus, to take our debt of sin, sin we commit daily, sin that we inherited from Adam, sin that separates us from God. He gave himself for us so that we, could become right in God eyes.
