Hearing Health Clinic

I met the new (to me) Audiologist, Ashley, today. She is very professional and personable and helped me with some concerns. I have loved Jessica and the staff is amazing. So happy to meet this member of the team.

I have experienced a hearing loss for many years. I feel very fortunate to have been working with Hearing Health Clinic. Libbie Shell is very educated and has a great understanding of hearing loss. Recently I purchased new hearing aids and realize the importance of explaining to Libbie what I am experiencing and the great feature of being able to program my hearing aids to best assist my hearing loss. I am a very happy and fortunate patient to receive the individual care. I enjoy working with all staff members. I have recommended Hearing Health Clinic to many family and friends and all have been grateful for the care they have received.

I have had a great experience getting new hearing aids with Jessica Maassen. She understands my needs and takes as much time as I need to ask questions. This will be my "go to"
hearing aid place from now on.

The audiologist seemed nice at the first visit but then I felt like the staff were annoyed about even reasonable requests. It took so much longer than they said (some of it due to Covid) and were not done as requested. The earplugs seemed ok but the tone of the staff made it not worth the hassle.

RUDE. Jessica Maassen lacks compassion and basic manners.
After first two visits, she doesn’t care.
I’ve never seen a healthcare speak to a patient & caregiver in such a nasty tone.

We were on time and she’s been paid.
If you don’t care about patients- many who are elderly and have lost most their hearing, then leave your job!!!!

After going to Spencer Audiology I realized how poor the service I got at Hearing Health Clinic. The firmwear in my hearing aids was never updated and the only adjustment was to increase the volume, not by frequency. My last checkup was done by the receptionist and she said there wasn’t enough wax in my ears to be removed and then 2 weeks later I had an audio test and was told by the audiologist that there was so much wax that the test result may be impacted.

They were not upfront about costs and billing. They get you excited to hear by giving you a two week trial and then at the end they want the full cost up front and expect you to file a claim with your insurance to be reimbursed. They are covered by insurance but still requested payment in full and declined to bill my insurance. Would not recommend them. Once they found I couldn’t pay $5200 upfront it was like I didn’t matter and was shown the door.

Took my client ( I’m his caregiver) several times as he was struggling with his hearing aides he purchased… they seemed annoyed with the fact HE was struggling… after several visits we are now switching to another business.

I've been with Hearing Health for over 15 years and have always been happy with the service received. The last few years they seem to be having trouble keeping audiologist. I have my hearing aids cleaned and tuned about every four months and expect, and I'm sure my insurance pays for, a trained audiologist to perform this task. During my last several visits I have not seen an audiologist, but nearly everyone else in the office, including the receptionist. I'm sorry to leave, but this is not acceptable.
