Carlos made my month!!! Excellent customer service, he went WAY above and beyond.

I was walking around the store obviously looking for something. He stopped what he was doing and asked if he could help me. Food King had 5 cans of a product I couldn't find anywhere else, and I was looking to see if more were in end caps.

Carlos made a call and arranged to have an entire case ordered for me!

Some companies make customers feel like an inconvenience. (Try getting a security case unlocked at Target or buying one thing at Walmart without spending half an hour in line to be your own cashier!) .

Carlos made me feel like he cared about solving my actual issue (limited access to a product) rather than just getting rid of me as quickly as possible.

Good prices on everything can't beat the deals you find here.

Many New Mexican foods available at reasonable prices

Great produce that tastes great and much cheaper than Whole Foods and Trader Joe's and less expensive. Where else can you find prickly pear cactus in the produce section....

Reasonable price for meat/seafood and fresh vegetables/fruits.

Great store to purchase groceries. They have a big selection, and the prices are great. Also, if you join the rewards, you get good coupons for groceries.

Major name brands are a bit cheaper, but not so major name brands are great to get here. I get sparkling water, canned food, tortillas/breads, cheeses, etc. For really cheap here. It is definitely great to go here when on a budget. Everyone is usually pretty nice and I'm sure 99% if not all the people there are bilingual Spanish/English. They have a wide variety of options for groceries, general household items, drinks, snacks, etc. Definitely recommend.

Hamburger ground meat was 1.59 a pound. pork chops were $1.49 a pound, thick & good quality. I have not seen these prices for 20 years. Gala apples were $0.97, the cheapest I've ever seen them lately is $1.49 a pound. Prices are great. What they have, is at a good price. Strongly recommend them🙂

This store is amazing. If you get EBT you get the 2 for 1 thing with the fruit and veggies like if you were going to a farmers market. Its cool! They say that they buy everything at cost and sell it to you at cost plus 10%. I do not think they charge the 10% for EBT customers. The people that work there are super cool too!!!!! Will definitely be back. Oh did i say i live around Tramway & Lomas. So it is a bit far and with the cost of gas it has to be really worth me driving that far. I got mild chili for 10 because i used my EBT card. Hamburger at Albertsons Market is between 15 and 25 for 3 to 7 pounds. Paid 15 for 9.75lbs. I know the 10lbs roll at walmart is 24.98. And its the 73%/27% lean. So that is a great deal. They have family packs of meat as well like steaks, pork chops and chicken that were under $20 a package. I know the last time i purchased beef i had to go all the way to El Super because they are cheap sometimes cheap. For 7 medium thick steaks were 4 something a pound so i paid something like 25 or so for them. Just crazy and .99 for gal of milk cant beat that when its 3.50 to 4.75
But anyways!!!!!!

I had not gone shopping at Food King in quite sometime because it is not near my residence. I decided to stop and take a look at their meats and vegetables. I was pleasantly surprised to see the meats were pleasant to the eyes and so reasonably priced and then to find out that they actually have a real Butcher Shop where they process the meats. I don't know of any other grocery store that has this. I will surely return.

Great prices, clean store & restrooms, and even a few brands not available elsewhere, I usually stop here when visiting Santa Fe as cheaper than Walmart or Albertsons. The last time I was there a friendly butcher even greeted me and said to let him know if there was anything that I needed but couldn’t find and he would locate or cut it.

This is one of my favorites! They always have a great selection of items, clean store and helpful staff.
