Garfield Memorial Hospital

My name is Rusty Jipson and we were visiting Bryce Canyon area from Ohio and Maine when I broke my left leg. Was taken to Garfield hospital initially where they ended up cleaning and re-setting the bones that were broke. They could not do the surgery there but what they did was so amazing. They were so friendly to my family and helped us tremendously...God sent angels...ty to all who helped us ...along with a special thanks to Elias the social worker who was so great... and Ranger Elena Kimble. May God richly bless all involeved!

Great little place. Son took a tumble in Bryce Canyon, needed a couple of stitches. Staff was professional and fast. Doctor was skilled, handled my panicky two year old with ease. Oh, and they gave him a stuffed animal. Pretty cool.

Top notch facility! Once I told them my husband was a heart transplant recipient, they got busy.
Everyone was super friendly and professional! The doctor, Tim, explained everything to us in a manner we could understand. Totally recommend this facility!

I had to spend a night here with an awe inspiring bout of Sciatica. EVERYONE was wonderful! They may not have had all of the modern conveniences of my hospitals in Houston, but that was my best hospital experience ever!

I had to come here last night while 28 weeks pregnant due to some concerning symptoms. I received the best care imaginable. The staff was super attentive, knowledgeable, and professional and they kept me in the loop every step of the way. I was very far from home and worried but the people here made sure I was taken care of. This is an excellent hospital!

As someone vacationing from PA, I was glad I found this hospital to help me with an ear ache I’ve been struggling with. The nurses, receptionist and the doctors were all so generous. I had to wait almost no time at all. If I ever come back to Utah and need care, I’ll make sure to come back to Garfield Memorial Hospital!

My 2-year-old son was in a serious accident just outside of Bryce Canyon summer 2016. I admit I was nervous to take him to such a small hospital in a small town, but the situation was such that he needed to be seen immediately. The care my son received was outstanding. Not only was the on-call doctor knowledgeable, the nurse and aids were equally equipped to handle the care our little family needed. As a very tender-hearted mother, I can't thank Garfield enough for their medical care as well as their emotional support. In the emergency room, I remember stepping out because I needed a moment to cry and take in what had happened. One of the nurses came over to me to talk me down and assure me that my son would be okay. She even helped me to control my breathing and calm down. It's gestures like these that remind me there are genuinely caring people everywhere. Garfield Hospital does a great job at selecting those people. Thank you Garfield!

My boyfriend and I are a long way from home on a trip to the national parks in Utah. Unfortunately, he became afflicted with a serious infection during our trip. He clearly needed medical attention, but we weren’t sure where to turn, so we found this hospital 30 minutes away from where we were staying. We were reluctant since we’re from a large city in Michigan and didn’t know what to expect from a smaller hospital.
When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised. The staff at this hospital are the most caring and respectful hospital staff I’ve ever encountered. We were seen and admitted in record time. The care my boyfriend is receiving is top notch. I can’t thank this hospital and their entire staff enough for all of their help, care and support during this difficult, scary and stressful time.
Don’t let the size of this hospital scare you, you’ll get the top quality of care you *should* get at any hospital, but with small town attention, kindness and compassion.

Had to go today to have a minor procedure and surprisingly had a pleasant (as pleasant as it could be considering the circumstances) experience. I did not have to wait very long, everyone was friendly, especially my nurse, Kim. She was the sweetest person ever and was genuinely caring and attentive. It is obvious she truly cares and is definitely in the right profession; she loves her job. My doctor was very funny and overall made me feel comfortable and safe. He had a great energy about him and a very likable personality. Not to mention, I felt confident about him as a physician. In all honesty, I can't recall ever having a good or pleasant experience at any hospital anywhere...ever. So who would have thought that it would've happened in some lil o' town, in the middle of nowhere in Utah. I was crying like a big baby from the pain I was experiencing and maybe being a bit wussy, to some, but I was treated with care, patience, educated answers, and professionalism so to the staff.....Thank you for fixing me, making me feel better, dealing with my crying and me being a wimp.

Excellent experience! Genuinely personable, straightforward, and caring staff. These folks entered into the medical field to truly care for people. They are honest-to-goodness, salt-of-the earth, folks who actually care for their patients. Thank you, to all those at Garfield Memorial Hospital for providing us with such great care.

The service here is excellent. The nurses were all very kind and concerned. My doctor, Dr. Mooney, was very good to me and my family and more than willing to explain any question we had. If you have to go to a hospital, this is the one to go to. What it lacks in size it makes up for with pristine service.

If you have a medical issue and are anywhere close to Garfield Hospital, go there. My wife has stage 4, breast cancer and developed strep throat. The staff were very kind and helpful. She is on antibiotics and doing well. Thanks to everyone at Garfield.

I came to Garfield Emergency Room after I injured my knee while hiking. I found the staff and the physician to be very reassuring and kind, efficient and professional.

It was great to get help right away in this wonderful community hospital! No long waits, and very thorough work in the ER. Doctor, nurses, technicians were all very kind and professional.

Had to take a break during my trip to bryce canyon due to serious heart problems. Staff was friendly and very caring. It turned out that I had to be brought to Dixie Medical Center in St. George to have the problem repaired but now, 5 years later I still remember the nice people here.

We came here and it was a wonderful caring hospital! We loved the nurses and the doctor. Thank you for showing so much love and care to my son.

Our youngest broke his ankle when we were here during winter time. The staff was great they helped us out quickly and fixed up you boy fast! Thanks you guys
