We recently had a meet up of RV friends and stayed at Ferry Boat. We all brought varying rigs of different sizes and we were able to be near each other. The sites were clean and level. There were families camping with kids near us. It was a nice camp ground.

If you are there is a local restaurant, Old Trail Tavern, which has deliciously locally sourced food and spirits. We ate there twice during our stay, and the restaurant accommodated a large group. Definitely recommend!

A rustic park with exceptional boat houses. It is so picturesque by the river.

It was a fishing trip just for the night. 4 hours, I took 7 Amish men in a nice rented van. From what they told me about the time on the boat
they had a great time and came back with 6 fish but they all forgot to bring a cooler for the fish. So they kept the biggest fish which was I think two or three of them and lay them on the little side at the door. So if you go on the fishing trip please make sure you take a cooler. But other than that they had a great time.

Such a great campsite! We were easily able to access the river. We also enjoyed a ferryboat ride, as well as the saturday night entertainment. We took a short drive to the winery across the street for beautiful views of the river. The owners and staff could not have been more friendly! Great place to stay, can't wait to go back next year!

Want to mention this place is worth visiting!! It's clean and the location is perfect. Everyone seemed very friendly and it's nice that you're not packed in like sardines. The ferry still runs and you can take a ride or just float peacefully down the river.

A piece of paradise on earth, peaceful, quiet, friendly and wonderful place overall.
My husband and I stayed for 5 days and came right back 2 weeks later for 5 more, Crystal clear river and shallow waters to just dunk in and enjoy or kayak and never get tired.

Plenty of sites with full hook-ups. Right along the Susquehanna River and Rt.11/15. Lots of activities, a playground, mini golf, basketball court, a pond for fishing, boat access and small store. Electric golf carts are permitted and 1 vehicle can be parked at your site. Additional parking is available. Many sites are seasonal, but there are still plenty of temporary sites. Cabins and tent sites are also available. There are restrooms with showers available.

Nice place. Casual, friendly. Live music the evening we were there. Lots of neighbors in campers, RVs, tents. Fun.

Great campground on the river with nice views. Owners (and all the staff) are great people and go out of their way to make sure everyone enjoys their stay, trimming overgrowth, laying fresh gravel on the roads, and just downright friendly.

Unfortunately we only spent one night at this campground due to vehicular problems. The park was beautiful including a river along with Putt-Putt golf and a playground for the kids. Our site was clean and directly on the river. This was such a beautiful area. The staff was exceptionally friendly. My husband and I will plan to come back here soon. Thanks so much five Star rating

We were there during the week and were able to take advantage of our Passport America discount. Better yet, the place was deserted since it was during the week so they allowed us to park where we had the perfect river view instead of the site we'd actually booked which was on the non-river side of the CG! We were allowed to treat two back to back back-in sites as one long pull through, under a row of oak trees, and it was perfect. The site was level, with FHU. We spent three lovely, quiet days there. Now that we've experienced the calming river views, not sure we could ever stay in a non-river view site. All that said, if it hadn't been deserted, it would have felt tight. We had a camper next to ours when we arrived. Their picnic table was literally two feet from our sewer hook up. We didn't hook up until after they left so there was no chance of ruining their outdoor experience. We didn't use the shower/rest rooms, but they were very clean, though much older. I work remotely and had no problem with my T-Mobile wifi connection, and with our T-Mobile and ATT cell service.

I recently attended a 2 day work-related conference at the Ferryboat Campsites. It could not have been a more pleasant atmosphere! The spacious Recreation Hall was clean and provided more than enough space to move around and participate in various activities. It was also nice to have access to the Rec Hall kitchen and outdoor BBQ. Staff was courteous and accommodating, and the grounds were well kept.

I spent two days at Ferryboat Campsite for a workshop with my employer. The owners were extremely accommodating and the facility was perfect for what we needed. Overall the campsite is quite beautiful as it sits right along the picturesque Susquehanna River. There seem to be many amenities and activities available for campers as well. 10/10!!! Thanks Aaron & Sierra!!

Alot of improvements, great activitys, staff are very helpful and friendly, seasonal campers are like family.if you're looking to go somewhere to releive stress, just enjoy nature or make new friends this is the place to be. Very peaceful, kid friendly, and just great views and has the ferry to ride as a plus.

We stayed in our tent. Beautiful campground on the River. Free mini golf. Small pond for fishing or turtle watching. Wooden swings for family's to sit along the river. Huge playground area (and at least 1 smaller one) with basketball court. There is a boat launching spot.
P.s. I did not feed the turtles this bread.

Beautiful campground on the Susquehanna River. Very nice swinging benches to sit in the shade or sun and relax. Lots of friendly people. I even had a very nice lady lend me her tube so I could take a run down thru the small rapids. The Ferry is very cool too but be sure to check its Facebook page for schedule etc. I originally rated this campground 3 stars because I found the bathrooms to be unclean etc., but was recently contacted by the new owner and was assured this issue would be improved upon. Therefore I have changed my rating to 5 stars. I definitely recommend staying here, and I would go out of my way to stay here again.

We held a conference there, and the owners/staff were extremely hospitable.
The buildings were clean and they allowed use of their pavilion as well. Riverfront setting was amazing! I highly recommend!
