I must tell you I go to New Hope on Friday night and I want people to know that it is not neglected on purpose. They try very hard to improve the church but it is all done by the money that comes in. The pastor and his wife do their best. I love this little church and I'm offended by people thinking that we don't care about it. When you are on limited funds you do what you can do if the money is not there what do you do. You do what you can. Pastor David gives us teaching from the Bible and you are hearing about GOD. That is the purpose of this Friday night. Some people would not even hear about Christ if it weren't of New Hope. I pray some day it will be improved. Don't judge a book by it's cover till you experience it.

Free community dinner & story about Jesus every Friday night @ 530pm not formal & very laid back. The pastor is cool & funny. Usually a pretty small crowd comes together for food & fun & games. Join us. We look forward to seeing you there.

Sadly,, This Church has been SEVERELY NEGLECTED, It, CLEARLY shows, by the upkeep of the property, that, the church doesn't care...I have lived near the church for over 60 yrs. when. it was built as a Dance hall..then in the early 60's it became,,,NEW HOPE CHAPEL,,with Bro. Layne being the first minister.
Bro. Layne (RIP GREAT MAN),,took GREAT PRIDE in the church....Unlike today.
