Mead park is a community treasure. There are trails, trees, creeks and lots of wildlife. Plenty of playgrounds and pavilions for family picnics. Lots of spaces for sports activities. I wish the park wasn’t quite so developed and that there was more thought put into the trails. The direction and design of the hiking trails doesn’t really make sense. A purpose built multiple use trail system would make this park so awesome. I would love to advise local officials if they ever have interest in discussing the idea

My kids and I enjoy going to Mead Park any chance we get. It's beautiful down thru the trails and fun to explore and play. Love the drive thru at Christmas time.

I've visited Corry many times and driven by this park many times as well but never stopped to go through it until today. This is a beautiful Park that offers more than just playgrounds. There are numerous small private picnic shelters available for public use equipped with electric and a grill. There are a couple different public restrooms also. This park is more like a Nature Center in a tranquil wooded setting. There are tennis and basketball court, a small baseball field a large pond with benches scattered around it and hiking trails. This would be the perfect place to come spend a quiet afternoon walking through it, having a picnic, walk the dog or bring kids to get some fresh air and play on one of the playgrounds. Now that I know what all this park has to offer, I will be back with family and friends to enjoy it. It was especially nice this time of year since the leaves are changing.

We hold a 4th of July family reunion here every year. Always happy to be here for that, the pavilions and buildings are spacious, have utilities, there's playgrounds the historical museum within walking distance. Glad Mead Park is a part of our yearly tradition

We had a Memorial day dinner picnic at one of the pavilions. Had plenty of space & the charcoal grill was big, so we had plenty of room for meats to cook.
Place was neat & the swings & play area's were just coated in newly chopped saw dust clippings so everything looked good, very welcoming..

I have been going to Mead Park for many years. I have gone for reunions. But I mainly go to walk in the beautiful wooded areas. It is so peaceful and quiet. The woods , the birds, squirrels and all the other wildlife is fabulous. Even if you just passing through you should stop to smell the roses, so to speak.

The most pleasant short cut that side of town.. Congrats on your new restrooms that are always locked and the umpteen thousands of taxs payer dollars spent on Jack squat..

I had a nice stroll down memory lane. Some of what I saw I didn't remember from growing up here using Mead Park so very much. As aVFW I very much appreciate this place for all they have done to honor those from the past. 👍👍👍👍👍

Mead Park is a nice place to play, walk or picnic. We found it while on a ride and had a picnic lunch at one of the many pavilions. Lots of nice shade on a hot day.

I have loved this place since I was a kid...a long time. I moved away about 10 years ago. On my return I found my son's Eagle Scout project. 2 of the blue bird houses that his troop made and installed were still intact. I put on new tops and fresh stain. Now my grandson can see what his dad made in 2000. A great place to relax. They are always looking for volunteers here. Contact The Mead Park Association.

Been going here since I was a child myself. Great park to spend a day with the family. Small amphitheater in the back of the park. lots of different play areas, Sport fields, even an ice rink when it freezes enough around here. Festivals at different times of year.

It's such a beautiful place. We had my daughter's 16th birthday party at one of the pavilions. They had it reserved and clean when we got there. Thank you! Will recommend to others

Mead Park has been part of my life since I can remember. With over 40 acres of park area and access to picnic and play areas throughout the park, it's a family dream spot. There are pavilions you can rent for picnics and for reunions. It has tennis courts, a dog park, and is right next to the Corry Area Historical Society Museum.

I have been going there since I was a little girl with my family. It was always a fun place to be. Picnics in the summer and fall and we used to go Ice skating in the winter. What a great time we had.
