An amazing Church that is very loving as their focus is on JESUS and knowing God's Word. A place to grow in your faith!!

This is a wonderful church with very kind godly people. You will be welcomed by almost everyone who goes and won't regret spending your time with god here. I personally don't go here anymore but my experience was wonderful.

New to town went to several churches, this was the first church in town that women greeted me and made me feel welcome. Pastors preach from the Bible. Can’t go wrong there.

This is a great Church. They take God's Word seriously and aim to have it impact every area of life. Happy to call SVC home.

Biblical teaching, knowledgeable staff, friendly and safe environment, caring people. If you want Truth, Joy, Love, and a purpose in life, this place has the answers.

Best music I've heard in church in years.

Sun Valley Church is fairly traditional, overtly Calvinistic, but friendly place. They often sing the older hymns and don’t use overly flashy lights, screens or instrumentations. Coffee is provided in the entryway and there are classes available for all ages. Sun Valley was originally founded by West Side Baptist Church but is quite different in service styles. Doctrinally they seem to lean Reformed Baptist with an emphasis on Calvin and the puritans but I did not ask about eschatology or secondary issues while there. I found the people and leadership to be open and friendly and someone always stopped to talk to me during the several weeks I attended. The preaching was scripture based and exegetical and if my memory is correct they were using the ESV translation. I removed 1 star because I support a traditional/historic soteriology and they are very strong Calvinists.
