Central Nursery School

Central Nursery School has provided a positive and safe environment for our children to grow and mature. The teachers are passionate, loving and caring. They tailor to each child's needs. Children learn through play. There's a wonderful mix of outdoor play, imaginative play, circle time, art, yoga, learning Spanish, cooking and music. We feel very lucky to have found a preschool which is dynamic and keeps our little ones excited to return.

Central Nursery School is a great place to send your children. The atmosphere is relaxing helping to make the children comfortable beginning their journey into school. Plenty of arts and crafts and out door play when the weather is nice. Our son genuinely likes going to school and is learning a lot of new things. The staff is very friendly and the communication is excellent. I have only positive things to say.

Central Nursery School is the epitome of what you wish your child's first school experience to be: nurturing, loving, and a safe home away from home. The teachers and whole team at Central are keenly skilled at meeting each individual child where they are at and gently guiding them to flourish, while maintaining the whole child in mind. There are not adequate words to describe how blessed my children have been to grow and learn at CNS. We wish that they went beyond preK!

Central Nursery School is a wonderful place! The teachers are caring and hard-working. The atmosphere is relaxed and nurturing, letting the kids be kids. The play-based curriculum is so important, letting the preschoolers learn through fun experiences. Every day my son shares some of the things he has done and is so excited about the toys he’s played with, the songs he’s sung, the stories he’s heard, and the art he’s done- he’s always smiling when I pick him up! We love CNS!

THE friendliest and warmest staff that allows my child and I to feel safe, welcome and well cared for. Operations are run so smoothly without making you feel rushed or in the way. We have attended CNS for the last 2 years and have zero complaints: We love his teachers and administrators who are all nurturing participants in the children’s days, making them feel successful in a safe learning and play environment. We LOVE Central Nursery School!

My family is in our fifth year with CNS. My two children each started at age 2 and have loved the school, which focuses on social and emotional growth of children. It's a very traditional school that reminds me a bit of the nursery school I attended years ago - lots of play, crafts, songs, and learning how to interact with others. The teachers are wonderful, and they are also very supportive of parents. I've learned a lot about how to parent from the CNS teachers. When people compliment my children's manners or behavior, I know that CNS gets a lot of the credit!

I can't say enough good things about Central Nursery School. Both of our sons attended CNS and they both had wonderful experiences. It is such a warm, caring, loving environment that allows children to grow and learn. The skilled teachers understand how best to encourage and educate this specific age group which allows children to be themselves while learning to relate to others in a group setting. Each day the children are given time to play in the classroom as well as outside on the wonderful CNS playground. All students are encouraged to explore their creative side with daily process-based art and other fun activities. Our boys both loved going to school every day, loved their teachers, and made wonderful friends. CNS will give any child an excellent foundation for their education.

Sending our daughter to Central Nursery was one of the best decisions that we have made for her. She learned so much and the teachers and staff are the very best!!!

My daughter is in her second year at Central and it’s as if she enjoys it more each day. This school truly provides an atmosphere that encourages children to play with one another and socialize in an age appropriate manner. My daughter tells me about a new friend she makes every week! All of the teachers and staff are so sweet, friendly, and make each child feel at home. Central is one of a kind and we’re so happy we decided to tour it when searching for preschools in the area.

CNS has been amazing! The staff are wonderful and caring. My girls love going to school and learning. We are in our second year and couldn’t ask for a better Nursery School experience for our entire family! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this school. It has truly been a blessing!

Central Nursery School is a loving, caring, nurturing environment that enfasises the uniqueness and special capabilities of every child. They give loving guidance to their students and allow them to explore the world around them. To say that I have been thrilled with my experience would be an understatement. My children have thrived at this nursery school; making wonderful friends and always coming home with a smile and a story of the day. The teachers are so attentive and kind. In addition, the school always makes me feel like my questions (whatever they may be) are valid and are given time a consideration when answered. I would not send my children anywhere else. I myself am actually a graduate and have fond memories of playing and exploring as a small child. Central Nursery School is a very special place.

Central has exceeded our expectations! Recommended highly by several friends and we wish we would have started our little guy there sooner! He has grown so much and the teachers have been amazing during this very difficult time. The environment is warm and environs, there is so much to see and do in the classrooms. Our 4 year old has been traveling around the world with his little friends and he is encouraged every day to use his imagination and creativity in fun new ways. He comes home exhausted and excited to go back again! Their philosophy for learning is through play and it is clear the teachers and staff love what they do and care deeply for their students!

CNS is truly such a wonderful preschool. We are rather new to this area so I was so nervous about finding a place to send our sons for Preschool. I read about this place, set up visit and we knew this was the right place. They are such a caring and wonderful staff. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. They are mainly play based which I love as well.

A wonderful nursery school! I especially love that the children do not use computers/electronic equipment and are free to develop physically, emotionally, socially, and naturally under the the creative/play-based curriculum. The staff is loving, caring, and extremely professional. My children have thrived under their teaching and guidance.

CNS is an amazing schooling experience for both Kids & Parents. I'm glad that my son was 3 year old when he started going to CNS and we really felt the difference since he was going to a different playgroup school before.

We have been at Central for 3 years and 2 kids. We have nothing but great things to say about the program and the teachers. Our children have been learning quickly and enjoying the experience. We’ve also met many wonderful families that are involved in the community. We still have a few years left and are very confident that our kids will be more than ready for Kindegarten and beyond.

CNS is a wonderful preschool located in a prime location in Wayne. Two of our children have attended this school for all of their preschool years. We could not say more about the warm, welcoming and creative learning environment created by teachers and staff. We were so sad to say goodbye as our youngest is ready to head to kindergarten.

All three of my children attend Central Nursery School and we absolutely love the teachers, staff and nurturing philosophy! We know our children are growing to be respectful, inquisitive, confident and smart young people because of Central's influence. Thanks Central!

Teachers are very nurturing and caring. They let every kid flourish at their own pace. My daughter loves all of her teachers. This is her second year in this school. We love everything about this school.

Central Nursery School is a wonderful place. With their play based program, my children had more time to be kids, and to learn the best way children do, through play.
