We find this to be the best place to stay in Lancaster. We love the friendly staff and the large grounds. We eat a hardy breakfast included with your stay and then take a nice stroll around the property. There is a beautiful pond with swans, geese and other water fowl. Two alpaca you can feed and other farm animals. The buffet breakfast is a great way to start the day. They lost their restaurant to a fire but managed to make arrangements to have many of the same offerings. The new restaurant and shops will be complete this year and I look forward to seeing it again this year. Sight and Sound is just a walk up the hill on a walking trail. If that is part of your trip it is so nice to walk and not have to drive and park. We have never been disappointed here. All the staff is friendly and knowledgeable about the area. If they can not answer a question, they find someone who can.

My sister and I stayed 3 nights. To say we enjoyed our stay is an understatement. Loved our room. Raymond, Deanna and Kim thank you for your hospitality. Wish I could mention everyone by name because everyone showed us what true kindness is all about. Breakfast was delicious. Can not wait to come back.

Picked this hotel because of the location since we were attending the Sight & Sound Theater. Great to be 2 mins from the theater, especially when you’re exiting at 9pm and it’s 40 degrees out. It was lovely to be in the outskirts of Philly. Such a beautiful country side. Also really enjoyed seeing the Amish lifestyles.

The hotel itself was really outstanding. Although the main restaurant and hotel is currently under construction, our room located in the Cottages, was clean and comfy. The only thing I do have to say is the shower head needs a little scrubbing, but besides that we loved our room. Felt super comfortable and safe.

The breakfast was delicious. Such great service from everyone. The food was freshly cooked and tasted fantastic.

There’s a little farm available for all to visit and you can feed the animals! There’s goats, llamas, chickens, a peacock, a goose, and some cute ducks!

The staff was lovely, very friendly and welcoming. Everyone in the area was nice tbh. Will definitely be coming back to this hotel and definitely recommend it to all.

What a priceless gem of a place! My friend and I came in very late at night, as most every other place was either booked up or extremely expensive ($350-700+/night) from Saturday to Sunday. Here, we were treated with extremely good and warm service, you'd never know it was 2 am. The room April gave us was under $200 for two queen sized beds, a balcony, and all the other wonderful amenities, such as Keurig coffee makers, extremely clean rooms, and we were positioned between the best view of the pool and the breakfast room.

The breakfast was by far the best I can ever remember having at any hotel ever. On top of having a full breakfast buffet, it was also restaurant style via vouchers they gave us at check-in. What this meant for us was that we could get as much of the buffet as we wanted, then order one of the specialty entrees they were serving. I ordered the Crême Brulee French Toast, but because of my mix up with selecting items on my order paper, I also got an omelet by accident, which they let me keep. I ate everything. Also, because we came so late (or early) the day of our stay, they gave us two nights stay there as opposed to one; which meant they also gave us double the breakfast vouchers!

Everyone was just so nice and kind. There were at least three different places to get coffee: the Keurig in the room, the breakfast lounge in the mornings, and several containers of Joe next to the front desk. Oh, did I mention, this place is essentially in the same lot as Sight and Sound?!

The Inn at Hershey Farm (next year to become the Hershey Resort with many new renovations and additions - such as a restaurant, indoor pool, and jacuzzi - because of a fire this past year) has exceptional grounds and accommodations surrounding it. At the main desk you can purchase for a dollar, animal feed for the feigning goats, alpacas, and many other creatures in the nearby petting zoo or farm. Take a walk around the premises on their own personalized walkway path, and don't forget to stop and smell the flowers in their own beautiful flower garden. Nestled in amongst the quieter part of the Lincoln highway business district, apart from the ostentatious presentation of hotels crowding each other to be seen of passers-by, the Inn at Hershey Farm is a wonderful place to bring your family, friends, and children (as I saw many of them there); and though the walls are NOT made of chocolate, at least they have chocolate chip pancakes every morning.

We think The Hershey Farm Inn is Awesome!!!
August 2023
Arnie & Peggy Johnson,

We stay at the Hershey Farm Inn quite often and are always blessed by a staff that is both helpful and friendly beyond what is the norm in other places we’ve stayed. You never feel like a stranger at the Hershey Farm Inn. Recently we stayed in one of the Hershey Farm remodeled deluxe rooms and were ever so pleased, we enjoyed the balcony and the room was very roomy, comfortable and quite homey, with a comfortable bed and beautiful new bathroom. The bath was big, with a modern double sink, great lighting, and to top it off the shower was a spacious “rain shower”, it was an absolutely wonderful room and stay in at the Hershey Farm Inn. The breakfast was also a nice touch with wonderful people tending to your needs. We highly recommend The Hershey Farm Inn as the place to stay when visiting the Lancaster, PA area.

This is a perfect little inn.
We stayed in the carriage house and this is the second time. Accommodations are clean and comfortable. It has such a homely feel. Staff are fantastic and beyond helpful. The surroundings are beautiful. We love to visit the animals in property and the lake is always so pretty at sunset.
Breakfast was included, delicious and some cooked to order. Hot and cold choices. Good coffee.
It is a perfect place to stay for an overnight if you are going to Sight and Sound.
A lovely little respite and becoming one of our fave places to go.
Plenty of parking

Every time we go. We always have an amazing time. Even though they are rebuilding the restaurant part. They went above and beyond to make sure that everyone staying at the hotel had an amazing breakfast. There was a good variety of breakfast food to choose from. The staff has always been very nice and friendly.

Really great people working here. A hotel thats been here for a while, but nice renovations and excellent breakfast with 24/7 coffee & tea!! (Get a room facing the pool). We had a great and very memorable weekend, taking advantage of Sight & Sound (walking distance- next door), nearby buffets and even mini-golf! Looking forward to the restaurant slated for next year(?).

Beautiful facility next to Site and Sound Theatres 🎥. When the restaurant is fully renovated, the facility will be exceptional.

Wonderful stay , very helpful and hospitable hosts. Room is clean and equipped. There’s a nice walking track on the property. Location is terrific and close to everything that one should see when you visit this beautiful town. Breakfast offered with the stay is amazing.

We arrived without a reservation after a Sight & Sound Play. Party of 4, 2 adults and 2 children. Our wait time was approximately 15 minutes and we shopped around their general store. Prices were fair and didn't seem to be affected much by inflation. Had fair selection of food, though no Asian or vegan options. Salad bar was okay but I turned away after I saw a customer using their finger to taste the salad dressing. 😳. This was of course not the fault of the restaurant, but I have no review on the taste of the salad bar. The grill had a great selection. There is truly something for everyone and the sweet tea was incredible as was the cheesecake.

Delicious and clean!
Food was better than I thought it was going to be. From pancakes and eggs to grits and cream chipped beef with biscuits.
The gift show was really cool as well. Has a little bit of everything. The clothes are super cute, affordable and generous fit. Kids toys, books and a ton more. Very clean, super nice staff. I’ll def be back again.

I come back with a large party annually and I'm always impressed with how many people they can serve and the efficiency with which it occurs. The food is always great with something new on the carving station every time I come in. The grill allows someone uncomfortable with picking from a buffet table to get what they want off a limited menu.

This year was the first time we did the breakfast rounds and the grill will make your very own custom order omelette, not to mention the buffet does have a large variety of delicious breakfast items as well!

Good Food, Friendly Family Atmosphere, Servers were pleasant although they need more to help to service table or perhaps install a window to self serve in bringing your garbage /empty plates to.
Unfortunately, that day something caused power outage and all went dark. Pretty sure they lost business because they were unable to sell items, cash machine could not work.
I wish them all the best and look forward to dining there again.
Blessings!

The best diner I've ever eaten. Everything was fresh flavourful crisp. Great food variety. If you want delicious home food this is the spot. We couldn't stop eating. The pie selection best I've ever had and our waitress Kaitlyn was super nice and acom9dating even wrote us a list of places to visit while we in the area. If I could give it 6 starts I would.
We will be back next time with empty stomach and stretchy pants lol

Ate at the buffet for my birthday. Arrived at dinner time with 6 in our party. We sat almost immediately. Food was delicious and hot. At times we had to wait in line as it was busy. Some in my party got items made at the grill that were fresh and good. Everyone should find something they like. It was a little pricy but not much more than any good buffet in the area. Wait staff was friendly and they cleared the dirty plates quickly. Will be returning and highly recommend.

My very favorite place to stay. Everyone is awesome. We have been coming to the Inn for over 20 years and would never stay any where. So very sad to here about the terrible fire but some how by the grace of God. All will be back to normal. We love you guys. We will see you mid June
