Central Washington Agricultural Museum

No street sweepers,, worth the visit.. surprized to see a 6 wheel straddle truck that i never knew existed...

Too much to post. It's awesome!! Never seen anything like . My grandkids loved it!!!

Great place to explore some history, beautiful plants, and some fun critters :-)

Good: it's amazing that museum with free entrance and free parking has such extensive collection! There are also couple scenic hiking trail that start from the museum. Plus children playground and picnic area.
Not so good: some areas are locked out :(

Love the museum events! They host family- friendly events each year that we enjoy attending. It's fun to see the history of equipment, some that's been lovenly restored by their talented volunteer staff. Thank you for what you do for our community.

Perfect wedding venue!!! Beautiful grounds, limited restrictions & budget friendly. My daughters wedding day was flawless. Being able to set up the evening prior is awesome tents tables seating decorations lighting etc And taking everything down & cleaning up the following day was great too.

Great museum with hands-on or demonstrations scheduled all day. This place is sprawling . They have shuttles that take you around , but if they're not working then be prepared to walk alot.

As a local, I'd never been thru the museum. Took a wagon ride today and what a time. Well, work going as a family and support this awesome museum.

This is my favorite place in Yakima. A free museum that you can wander at your own pace.

Take extra time when coming here. I spend 3hrs and didn't see it all. Everyone is very helpful and explain anything you have questions about. Biggest collect of orchard equipment I have ever seem. Just an awesome place.

Fascinating history, amazing displays over a huge outdoor area with many buildings as well. The helpful volunteer guides make this a great place to visit. The history of agricultural tools display in the welcome center is well done, don't miss the wagons, vehicles, washers, saddles...

Very good for young ones to learn and very good for us elderly to remember. I enjoyed every minute I was there. The managers or owners have put such a wonderful place together. And soooo many donor's from local to far away . Wonderful small creek lots of grass for picnic and games, horse shoe pit's , picnic tables, AWESOME place for family gatherings.

This place was cool, if you like this kind of stuff. My daughter wanted to just get through it, but I was intrigued. Go on a day that it's not super hot but definitely go when it's warm and sunny. Taking an umbrella might help to.

The Central Washington Ag Museum has so much history to see on the grounds and with their events.

If you like old stuff, trucks, tractors and implements. You will surely enjoy something you see at the museum. Whether inside or out. A must make stop if in the area. You can walk through or drive through many acres of old iron. Great way to stretch your legs if you have been on the road a while. Free of charge, but donations help keep it running and are much appreciated.
