Amazing museum of aircraft and aviation on general. We loved the sections on local pilots and native Americans and their impact on aviation.

Shout-out to our guide Mr. Anderson; he really knew the history of all the exhibits and kept up with rapid fire questions from an excited 5 year old.

The guided tour didn't take too long and is chock-full of information over displays of hand painted miniature models, real pieces from crash sites, life sized engine models and some very neat looking smaller single person planes.

5/5 would recommend

I wouldn’t call myself a fan in aviation, but I really appreciate the volunteers and staff here to maintain the history and kindly share their knowledge and experiences. A lot of these could easily be lost in the next 5 years and if you are in the area, come check it out!

My boyfriend and I loved seeing all the historic aviation artifacts. The volunteers were very knowledgeable and friendly. Admission is free, but donations always appreciated!

Very fun and nice. The people were friendly and let us just wonder about and ask questions if we had any. They have so many models and most of them were in perfect condition. Everything was labeled nicely and they have enamel pins in their gift shop and free posters. The entire cost is whatever you are willing to donate.

It is pretty tiny, but packs a lot into a tiny space. It is a great memorial to the past. I would recommend taking some time out of your busy schedule to let your imagination run wild. Truly a great experience.

Don't miss this historical nugget! Creative telling of Wright Brothers to space travel with many Yakima connections. Videos, interactive displays, a flight simulator for adults and one for kids... Great for kids, parents and grandparents! Highly recommended!

Great little place to stop by and check out. Ramp fees are $10/week if you need to stay a while. Fuel is usually cheaper than most in the area, and there's a Washington State Airport Passport stamp near the self service fuel depot.

We had a private tour and it was great. Stuart Copeland was really great. He was educational and new everything about aviation. And thank you to Guy Anderson and Roberta. Very nice people. Excellent price for the tour. Make sure to leave a donation to keep this place open.

I cannot express enough how much I appreciate the attention to detail in the craftmanship with the model aircraft, the beautiful displays of actual service memorabilia, and the knowledge that each volunteer had when my family visited this place. I consider this a hidden gem in Yakima. Anyone with interest in aviation or military history should visit.

Great little museum showcasing local people, airplanes, historical events and Aviation as it has developed in the Yakima area.

There are a bunch of small displays on different things and people as well as interesting airplane pieces, parts and photos. Throughout the building there is a large collection of detailed model airplanes and many old photos of the airport.

This museum was so cool! It shows the history of so many aviation legends. I went around with this amazing gentleman that knew everything about the place. They had a whole section dedicated to gliders and the engines. Seriously if you like aeroplanes and want to know more these guys are the best to go to. Plus they know when the really cool show planes are coming into yakima! Heads up there is a P-51 coming into the yakima airport on July 14th. They'll show you around it as well!

Neat small museum thay showcases the Yakima valley history of aviation.

There are often folks there willing to tour and share personal stories of local aviation.

The museum is supported by aviation fuel sales and is usually the cheapest place to buy 100LL on the field. (No jet-A) Also some transient parking at a reasonable rate.

The museum hosts monthly events in the summer and also is where the local CAP parks their Cessna.

A free museum that has a lot of local and general aviation exhibits. Even has a flight simulator for kids and adults.
