Mountain View RV Park and Restaurant

I'm rating the RV park.... restaurant is currently closed for renovations. RV pRk is lively,perlite setting, wide spaces, mostly pullthroughs. Most rows are shaded, one is clear for satellite users. Some sites have mountain views. Occasional street noise, but better than most, and quiet at night. They have propane. No playground. Clean bathhouse and laundry.

Favorite spot in the valley to eat. The ribs fall off the bone. Burgers are on point. Sides are excellent. They've renovated and the atmosphere is really awesome and it's the only place I've found in the entire valley that has craft beer from local Idaho breweries. I'm all about supporting local so I find this important.

The place was recommended by locals so we got there confidently.
And the place lives up to its reputation. It's a small restaurant room with only a few tables and you'll find the best ribs ever but there's a catch. You have to get there early before they run out of those, so don't wait. We also had the elk burger that was a delight.
Definitely a place to visit.

The owners make this place worth the stay. They are very friendly and helpful; good people to converse with. They're in the process of upgrading water and electric, reseeding grass between the sites, and building a doggie park. The sites are gravel, level, and long (we are 60' with our RV and toad. Very reasonable rates. The cafe was not yet open. The washers and dryers were clean and reasonably priced. If we are back in this area, we will stay here again.

Small restaurant, excellent food. The pulled pork was very good. The smoked potato was delicious. Beer battered fries very tasty. Friendly service.

We stayed a couple nights at Mountain View RV Park and Restaurant. What a pleasant surprise. The owners, Ryan & Stephanie and staff, Kenya and Savannah could not have been more welcoming. Sites were pull through with nice shade trees, great WiFi, the most tender ribs we have had in a very long time and a great wine selection. Craters of the Moon National Monument was 15 minutes away and Arco is a unique little town. Add this stop to your next trip!

This place is a hidden gem. The camp gound is really nice and has full hookups. It also has showers, propane, laundry and a dump site. The best part is the great food including the ribs! Also, they sell local beer on tap and have a full bar. Oh and the coconut shrimp are awesome as well. Finally everyone is super friendly don't pass this place.

This is a great location. Family owned park. Clean, well maintained, mature trees. Owners are very nice. Do not pass on the restaurant....great BBQ.
Close to Craters of the Moon.

This is an awesome campground. Owners were so helpful. Nice green space between sites and lots of trees. Dog yard was fantastic. And the best bbq I have ever had.

Great place to stay and eat. Probably gained 5 pounds staying here…. Well worth it. Very close to Craters of the Moon national park. Every single staff member was extremely friendly. We liked it so much we ended up extending our stay.

We chose Mountain View to visit Craters of the Moon NM. We were pleasantly surprised. It is a nice little park with 50-amp full hookups and large sites. It also has a restaurant with some of the best bbq ribs I've had. They were so good I had them both nights we were there. Stephanie and Ryan are very welcoming and we'll stay there next time we pass through. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it to others. Other sites nearby include the EBR-1 museum of the first nuclear reactor in the US to the southeast, and Shoshone Ice Caves to the west

A very nice campground they offer full hookups to tent camping. The restaurant is a very good touch. The elk burger was fantastic with a side of baked beans. And the chicken fingers with Mac & cheese was also worth mentioning. But it seems the top menu item was the ribs sorry I didn't get it but next time.
All in all a perfect place to land and enjoy the area. The view is quite a sight to see at sun set.

Nice, very clean RV Park in Arco Idaho.
Driving distance to Craters of the Moon National Monument.
Pricing per night is a good value.
The BBQ restaurant is another plus, with very god food.
Would definitely stay here again when in the area.

We overnighted here coming and going on our most recent trip. The owner is welcoming and helpful. The park offers ALL pull through spaces with full hookups as well as a safely fenced and very clean dog park area.
Nice trees for shade but well trimmed for bigger rigs. Easy in and out and quiet.
Not like many parks which have become homeless sanctuaries- this one is clean, safe and very well run.
Nice grassy areas, new picnic benches…the effort of care and ongoing maintenance shows!

WOW. What a delightful spot for camping and a homemade BBQ dinner. Absolutely delicious. Very friendly folks that have a gem in the rough. Quiet & pretty location. And the restrooms like I've never seen before - like home or maybe better. It's a pay shower but worth it. I would go out of my way to come here again. Thank you!!!

This time we had the 1/4 rack of ribs, side of smoked baked potato and a side of their baked beans.

Oh my! I cannot believe how amazing the food is in this place! The Super Spud- perfection! And the ribs- wow! Well done, Mountain View, well done!!

Mt. View RV park is awesome.
It was quiet, friendly and the restaurant food is wonderful.
We will definitely return here when we come back this way.

Spent two nights here at the end of June and could have easily stayed a few more. Found the campground to be well run & organized with clean facilities, but what really set it apart was the on-site restaurant, hospitality of the proprietors and dog park. Conveniently located to Craters of the Moon NP and the Idaho National Laboratory/ EBR-1. If you stay here be sure to have at least one meal to experience some Southern fusion cooking, delicious!!!

Great pull through sites, very level and large. Nice Café' on site with good food and service. Ryan and Stephanie are new RV park owners and are doing a great job with the park so far. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area. Would highly recommend this site to fellow travelers.
