Best Western Penn-Ohio Inn & Suites

My mom and I stayed there in September after a negative experience at another hotel made us check out early.

The gentleman at the front desk was wonderful, I asked if I could check out the room before I handed over my credit card and he was very accommodating and showed me to a room with 2 beds and also offered another room since the spot lights were right outside our window but the blackout curtains blocked everything so I opted to keep the room.

He also recommended that I make the reservation online as it was cheaper than any rate he could offer me which was much appreciated. We ended up being there 4 nights and everything was clean and relaxing.

I did take one star off for location. It is on I-80 in a major truck hub so it was tricky to get in/out at times but you couldn’t hear the truck traffic too much from the room.

Spent two weekends here in two different rooms. Both rooms were clean, welcoming, and honestly, a great place of respite after the craziness of my weekends

I had a male and female front of house worker that tended to all of my worries and concerns in a timely fashion.

The only complaint I have, and a minor one at that, the shower curtains don't seem to cover the shower as well as they could.

Will be back!

As a truck driver we stay in many hotels. This was my first time visiting this hotel and it was the most impactful visit which lead me here leaving this review. I wish I had caught the gentleman’s name who check me in but what a star he is! I was able to walk right in around 630am and get checked in!. This seems odd but it’s all too common for hotels to not offer a room due to our arrival time. This leaves us wondering where else we can stay that has truck and trailer parking and it isn’t as easy as some thing. Secondly the gentleman was absolutely polite in person just as he was over the phone when we talked prior to my arrival. Without suggestion he put me in a room that was away from the traffic for a better quality of sleep. How small this seems really was a huge gesture and his efforts were noticed and very much appreciated. All it takes in this world is to have a little respect and compassion for other humans to make this a better place. This young man went above and beyond to ensure my stay was great and he did just that and more. My room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was hot, fresh, and delicious! If your reading this thinking about staying here’s your sign, do it! You won’t be disappointed but you must check out the hand written letters at the desk! You’ll get a laugh and a humbling experience.

We have stayed here 3 Times this year for multiple days. I love there staff. Blonde lady in kitchen is always wonderful. The guys that runs it is always super nice. Rooms are always very clean. Pool and hot tub always clean. I used the washer and dryer in the place and they cleaned and dried perfectly. Breakfast is always good. Outside of building is clean. Not anything bad to stay.

Stayed here with my daughter for a basketball tournament. This place has been great! The pool area was clean. It was quiet. The parking lot isn't riddled with trash like other places. The room was cleaned and smelled good. A/C was on and ready for us. They let me check in an hour early and accommodated my want for a first floor room. The front desk attendant was helpful with more towel to paper plates for our pizza. Very friendly clean and affordable place to stay! Highly recommend

We have done a lot of travel over the years. This Best Western is quite the value for the price. Very clean and comfortable. The room had a nice fridge and microwave. Also included was hair dryer, coffee maker and iron with board. The room is spacious with a work station with table lamp and chair. There is a comfy chair with an ottoman for relaxing. The room heater doesn't make a lot of noise while sleeping. Good lighting with a spacious clean bathroom. The breakfast included waffles, sausage, eggs, bagels, yogurt, cereal and toast. Coffee, tea, orange juice, apple juice, milk and bottled water was available. The dining area was very clean. The lady at night for check in was very nice and explained everything available. The manager was making sure the breakfast area was clean and stocked the next morning when we went in. The staff does a very good job making sure everything is clean and stocked with supplies. We could have stayed another night just to relax and unwind but had to continue our trip. Thanks to everyone there for a great experience.

Clean room, great pool and breakfast! Location is easy to get to off I-80. Definitely would stay here again for 130 a night. One room with king bed was super clean and good size

My room was so clean and comfortable. It also was near an entrance making lugging my stuff in by myself so easy. No question: Im stying there again and that's about 4x's per year-- minimum..so keep up your standards. I'll be back! Just off 80 but set back with green space alll around. Perfect experience.

A single king-size bed for two is very comfortable. Nice clean room and lobby. A good variety for a continental breakfast. The coffee with raw unfiltered honey is very delicious. Didn't try the pool but it sure looked inviting. I will be staying there in the near future.

Second time staying at this particular Best Western. Very clean room, breakfast and service in the breakfast area was great. Saw the manager at a local grocery store one afternoon and he recognized us as his customers. Will definitely return next time we're in the area.

We went there to swim their pool area very nice and clean. Everything was great breakfast area very well stocked. I would definitely stay again we are from local area.

Our third time staying here from Georgia. We've planned to never deviate and always stay here as staff are very friendly and accommodating, breakfast is delicious, place is clean and the price is right! Perfect!

Great stop to rest between Illinois and New York. They have a good breakfast and the staff are friendly and accommodating.

The pool is large and the hot tub is ACTUALLY HOT!

Note: some of the rooms have metal bed platforms that can make noise when you move (the sheet metal flexing). But, aside from that, the mattress is comfy.

Rooms are clean and comfortable. Bathrooms are large and have actual exhaust fans.

The hotel is right off Interstate 80. They do give military discounts, with a military discount, the room with a king bed was only $105, including tax for 2 people. The room was very clean and you got a free breakfast which was really good. We will definitely stay agin.

Stayed twice on our most recent road trip. We liked the first room so much we requested it again on our way home. It's an accessible room, everything met our needs perfectly.

First time stay at a best western. I was impressed. Very clean, comfortable and quiet. Suite was tastefully decorated and comfortable. Plenty of outlets and lamps. Nice mix of warm and cold breakfast options, fruit and yogurt, coffee, tea and juices. Hotel lobby was warm and welcoming with comfortable seating and lighting. While the location is somewhat undesirable (near industries and two truck stops), the hotel is conveniently off I-80 and back off the road which reduces the road noise considerably. Highly recommended hotel especially for business travelers staying the week or travelers just needing a night off the road.

My husband and I decided to stop off after a long road trip, and stopped at the best Western for the night. The staff that was there, Tyler on third shift was amazing! The check in process was smooth and easy, and he was great to talk to. The breakfast was great, and the first shift girl Trish did an amazing job checking us out, and making sure we were ready to hit the road! Would recommend to anyone in the area to stop in and stay at the best western!!!

Our stay at this hotel was excellent. It was budget friendly and super clean and everything was in very good condition. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom spotless!
