Majestic Bar & Grille

A Monday afternoon taking a short road trip to Greenville. Decided to grab a quick lunch in town. Saw a neon "hot dog" sign and stopped in. Although the sign says " Majestic Hot Dog", the real name is Majestic Bar and Grill.they have a small menu that features various forms of hot dogs. Most with their "special sauce", a toned down chili. The sauce proved to be a let down but the vinegar-dressed Cole slaw was great. Non-alcoholic drinks are served in cans. Other drinks from a bar. The decor is kind of vintage, kind of western, kind of eclectic. The entire place was very shiny clean. And the proprietor took extra time walking thru the place.
The food was good, not great but the lunch experience was great. I wouldn't hesitate to go back. Parking is on the street.

The Maji Dog is an absolute must have. It’s a right of passage for anyone that’s discovered this hidden gem of a restaurant. Thank me later.

When we visit the area, we always stop here. For the past 40+ years, I've ordered hot dogs from this little, unique bar/restaurant. We have started a new tradition with my husband & son. They have a very good chili sauce to put on their mid size hot dogs. They also have the usual hot dogs toppings too. Can't say much about any other menu items, because we only get the dogs!

Thus is an interesting place it's like stepping back in time. The chili dogs were very good and the service is great

I had a lunch here with my wife in 2018 and it’s now 2023 and I’m posting this review. I think that says it all.

Good as always. My husband loves hot dogs. I'm not a fan so I got the sloppy Joe on Wheat bun. I'll get it on White next time.

As usual the dogs and potato and macaroni salads were delicious. What brings us back time and again is the atmosphere. The decor is so interesting. I find something new each time. The seats are cozy and comfortable. The bar area is incredible. This place truly is a gem.

I have been here multiple times and its amazing as always every time I go there. It is truly a Greenville staple and so glad that it is still here. Best hot dogs around and also love how the inside is so nostalgic! Highly recommend checking it out if you haven't already!

This place seemed to be a hidden treasure. Food was good and affordable and the restaurant was adorable.

Famous for the best hotdogs around! A must stop for natives, this place offers great food value and home town hospitality. It's very family friendly and probably the cleanest bar/ restaurant you will ever visit! The owner is a super guy, the staff are all very friendly and give great service, and you can't beat the dogs. Just ask anyone from around here. You can't eat just one. 😍😍😍

This place will forever be the best place in Greenville perhaps even the whole county and state with the best hotdogs. Absolutely delicious. Can't go wrong ordering more then you think you'll eat that's for sure. They are a bit small but full of mouth watering flavor

A Greenville icon! Haven't been here in ages, and was pleasantly surprised at the changes. Original chili dogs were great, just as I remember. Definitely worth a visit.

Best damn hot dogs in the county. Homemade soups, friendly staff, amazing nostalgia no alcohol. Makes it a very nice place for lunch or dinner. Love the place.

Excellent hot dogs & hot dog chili. Has a very unique atmosphere. Lots of neat things to check out throughout the restaurant. I also had their home made potato soup & it was excellent!

Funny how generations of people still come here when they visit or drive thru Greenville. The hot dogs are still GREAT. Wish they still steamed the buns. No more bar either.

I had been here years and years ago with my husband. At that time, he told me he use to come in with his dad. I brought my friend this time for the hot dogs. Delicious!!!! Very pleasant atmousphere and very clean!!!
