I recently had an EGD at LRMC, and the staff were simply WONDERFUL! Having had this procedure before, and waking up halfway through (at a different hospital), I was pensive and anxious. However, Dr. Schneider (From Blackfoot), Nurse Chantelle, her nursing aid, and the anesthesiologist put me at ease. Everything went well and Dr. Schneider took the time to explain everything afterward. I would recommend this facility to any of my loved ones!

Traveling and had bad pain and went to ER here at Lost Rivers. Was treated immediately, cat scans bloodwork and they treated the pain and picked up the meds for the back strain..Can't say enough good about the treatment, the nurses and the attending dr. Thank you so much for taking compassionate care of me.

My sister was admitted here today in an emergency. She had end stage cancer which was very tough for us as well as her husband. The staff was incredible! Dr. Spencer as well as the nurses, Jenny and Autumn were so compassionate, caring, and professional. My sister, Mom, and I were from out of town, and her husband was completely distraught. They helped us navigate the passing of her within hours of being admitted. The staff helped with connecting us with services for funeral arrangements, etc. Dr. Spencer was so honest about the prognosis, but in a very caring way. Jenny was very loving and kind to my sister although she was completely incoherent. It was a very good experience on an extremely difficult day. Thank you so much!

My son was in an accident at Mt. Borah. I cannot say enough good things about the medical treatment he received though Lost Rivers Medical Center. The hospital staff, from nursing to the incredible Dr. Browne gave my son medical care that was superior to anything we have received at large regional medical centers. They were helpful not only to my son, but our entire family. They won't be forgotten. Thanks LRMC!

Last night I woke up at 4am in a panic, because somerhing was stuck in my throat, and I was having trouble swallowing. It hurt in my chest and back, but I could breathe and talk, so maybe I was overreacting. My husband was away, so I was alone with our toddler. I called the nurse's line at the medical center, and the lady (didn't catch her name) helped me calm down and suggested some things to try to keep moving the blockage down, while also saying it was totally okay to come in and get checked out. She was a very nice person who made a scary sitaution better.

Thank You Dr. Jensen, Dr. Spencer, Brad (the ER Nurse) and all the other wonderful nurses, phlebotomist, housekeeper and essential workers for your complete care and kindness while treating Dave Jensen. The only complaint I had, is that Dave had to wear the same clothes he came in with for the two days he was admitted. I would have thought they would have made him change into a hospital gown. (I'm glad he had comfortable workout pants on). A big shout out to the nice young man who took my temperature every time I entered the hospital. He was very kind and friendly.
Thank You Dr. Spencer for calling Dave at home and checking up on him.....that was very thoughtful of you. Bless you all and stay safe.

If you don't know what wrong with you please don't go here. My wife had a kidney infection (which was discovered in Idaho falls) and they told her after several blood and urine tests they had no idea what was going on. They prescribed her a muscle relaxer and told her if it's not getting better by end of next week to come back in. With the severity of the infection She very easily could have been dead by then, at very least lasting kidney damage if gone untreated any longer. They don't listen, they don't care, they don't know what they are doing! If you don't care about your health this is your hospital.

Falsely advertised that they were in my network for doing lab work via my insurance company. Even gave me a card with their logo on it stating they were "in network" with my insurance company. I asked the lab technician and doctor at the office from which my blood was drawn... "Are you sure this is my network?" I was told multiple times, "Yes, it should be."

Month later received a bill which insurance refused to pay because it was "out of network." I had to pay a bill which should have been written off by the hospital for falsely advertising they were "in network" to being with. I consider this facility shady and a SCAM!!!

want to live a long life go to a real hospital, and one that cares. Let's not count the pointless amount of time they lost my lab work. Sad even had to give them 1 star, that hurt.

Literal months of fighting with their pharmacy just to end up only getting meds half the time, they would argue to the point that I would call the Dr. That prescribed my meds on speaker and ask where my meds were sent, the whole call out loud for them to hear, and this pharmacy would still fight with me about my meds being sent here,

Customer service is a joke. You are better off seeing the local vet then trying this clinic.
