I order the cheesesteak here and the roll is always so soft. I really do enjoy it. I like to get the cheese sauce on my steak.

I order food from Tony G’s almost once a week, specifically the Italian hoagie. What I appreciate is that the food is consistently good, every time. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. I specifically get take out just because the parking situation is slightly frustrating, but I can also acknowledge that’s not the restaurants fault. But their pick up window makes it super easy!

This place is great! By far the best Philly I've had. I'm not from the area so I guess I don't have much of a vote, but I thought it was great. The staff were super friendly and attentive. Got my sandwich quick. It was a little bit of a trick to get into the parking lot and I had to circle around. All in all super good.

A rare 5 flush. I could be partial to the kind service including complimentary Shirley Temples, authentic Philly conversations, and coozy ambience. I however reserved my review until our collective was able to eat. And it is confirmed. Tony G was a hit and worth traveling 27 mins out of our way. 👍🏼💯

Just on a Nostalgic hunch I called to ask a few questions about this bar. I used to work at the Domino's across the way & after a long day of making pizza the guys & I would come over to wind down or turn up (depending on the day of the week). I wasn't sure I had the right place till the wonderful Shay(Shae) answered the phone & my random questions. The upstairs bar is still open on weekends too! This place was a venerable Institution long before I ever visited 20yrs ago & I loved learning that it still is going strong with updated name & menu. I will definitely be stopping in next time im in the neighborhood. This family owned bar is #LEGEND

Food is on point. Wings and cheese steak are top notch. Service is great and easy on the eyes. Shout out to Shai!

Cool place. I had a friend suggest the wings, so I tried em'. It says "jumbo wings" on the menu, and they are pretty big. I ordered the ten count. One was mushy, but overall they were delish. I also had a side of tots which were great.

These guys hit it hard in the Cheesesteak game. Cheese options, great meat, good roll. Staff is warm and friendly.

We had a chance to talk to the owner, great guy loves the community and is beyond passionate about the food creations that come out. Can’t wait to go back for more! Yo try the cheesesteak Zep on a long roll….off the chart good 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Their cheesesteaks w/fried onions and cooler sharp American are the best in the area. Nice seeded roll, Quality meat, perfectly grilled onions and just the right amount of cheese 🔥 I don’t have to travel anymore to get a quality steak now! The honey hot wings were really tasty too. Very happy I found out about this place.

My family’s go to! Always quick, delicious & affordable. & the ladies on the phone are always so nice and accommodating!

It's a great place here! The absolute greatest Philly I've ever eaten. Since I'm not local, I guess I don't really have a voice, but I thought it was fantastic. The staff was extremely helpful and cordial. My lunch arrived promptly. I had to make a circuitous route through the parking lot because it required a little bit of skill. Overall, very good.

Good and service were unparalleled. Love their food, and the people are fantastic. The prices are clutch and the drinks are delicious!

If smoking and swearing bother you, don't come here. Cheesesteaks are awesome, great bartenders!

Very good cheesesteak, Yuengling, Phillies fans, $13. I have very very very strong feelings for Tony G’s. I went with the Tony G special, peppers, fried onions, mushrooms, provolone and Tony sauce. I am starting to love provolone but I think it needs a sauce to loosen it up. Very good cheesesteak, very good place but it does allow smoking.

The most delicious Cheesesteaks I've ever had!! So good I went back the next day & picked up 4, for my boys in VA. The Owner, Staff, Patrons are just as friendly & kind as can be, salt of the earth. If your near by or anywhere within 100 miles...GO!

Love Tony G's! We are from South Philly and it has the South Philly-style feel!! Shae is a bartender on Saturday. She is great! We love the music she plays but you can also pay to use the jukebox. There's also another bartender on Friday, her name is Colleen. She is very nice, also!! The chef in the back is great and friendly. He is very accommodating! If he is not busy, he'll come out front and hang with the bartenders and talk to you @ the bar. Also, very nice!!
