One of my favorite spaces on Earth.
Beautiful quiet places in nature, with paved paths, and off the beaten track paths. Whatever you choose. There are creeks to listen and watch, or skip stones in, and trails to feel serenely at Peace. Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall.
So many great areas for walking and exploring. Just taking in the sights and sounds of nature.
They also have some great nature themed educational things going on their FB page for the young and old.
So grateful to have a place like the Norristown Farm Park to go.

Very beautiful farm property with good walking/hiking trails, old farm building and loads of sky. Come here when the Sun is low after a storm and you won’t be disappointed.

Great place to walk the dogs. The rangers are present and friendly. It is a safe place. There is the main track to walk on with ample parking. Then you can take more hike type adventures down to the water

Great trails and a spot of nature in the area. There are some spots with pavilions. Plenty of calm nature around.

Norristown Farm Park is an excellent place to photograph for engagement photographs and family portraits. I own Kosola Productions and it is a great location with a farm type feel to the location. Attached are some photographs.

This is such a family friendly park in the heart of Montco county. It was so nice to see that lovely couple holding hands together. Today my walk was super fun, I saw dogs in the creek, women doing yoga, families greeting each other in the park. The sky was perfect blue. I always enjoyed going for s walk or run. It is a perfect place to organize a small fundraising run too. #toussaintphotography

Beautiful park with extensive trails, some paved for accessibility and others left in the rough. Pleasant and mostly gentle walking here, particularly at the creekside and in the hollows. Plentiful bird sightings, as well as deer, foxes, rabbits, skunks, and other fauna.

Great park. Paved walking/biking path, with nice hiking trails that offshoot from there. A beautiful creek that is stocked with trout, and trails past soybean fields that are part of a still working farm.

Lovely place, expansive, with picnic areas to enjoy a tasty meal among family. Volleyball set-up in some location throughout their 7.2 mile walking loop area.
Plenty of parking available!

A fantastic park. Trails, fishing, picnics, educational exhibits and much more. There are so many miles of trails to explore. The creek that runs through the park is clear and picturesque. It is stocked with trout for fishing. There are many different parking areas to allow easy access to all parts of the park. Montgomery County has many parks to offer, but the Norristown Farm Park is one of the most unique.

The wildlife I've seen so far this season has been incredible!
3 - beavers in 3 different locations.
3 - 4 black minks.
2 - bald eagles.
A few yotes.
Grey herrings
Blue herrings
Multiple eels sizes ranged from 2' - 5' I couldn't believe it.

Thought you might like a picture of what I think is winter wheat in May. Yes, it's a farm. Otherwise, the usual: hike, bike, picnic, fish. Operated by the county.

I've been visiting this park since it opened, years ago. It's a great place to fish, hike, bike, run, walk, picnic, bird watch, etc. I'm an avid runner and do a majority of my training here, and have done so for years, through all seasons. The park rangers and staff do an excellent job of keeping the entire park clean and safe. Mowing, snow plowing, trash collection, and restrooms are well taken care of year round. Beautiful park, especially for those focused on nature and wildlife preservation.
