Tortugas Mexican Eatery

Nice friendly place. It seems family run which I really like. The service is excellent, the food is excellent and the whole place is just perfect. Nothing too fancy, so great for casual dining, but also great for a date night too. It's not all about spending a fortune in a ridiculously priced restaurant, if you want great Mexican food, with a great friendly service then you should eat here. Much better than most Mexican restaurants I've been too.

Great local Mexican restaurant in Collegeville, PA. It is a BYOB and they have non-alcoholic margaritas if you choose to bring tequila to mix with. Chips and Salsa to start were crisp and fresh. I did the pick 3 plate with a taco and 2 burritos. You can mix and match which ingredients you want on the same platter which is convenient for trying different items. Overall very clean and family friendly.

My family and I ordered food from here for the first time recently. My only regret is not ordering from here sooner. We all loved the food we ordered and when we picked up our order the woman who rung us up was so friendly and inside the restaurant looked and smelled amazing. I already can’t wait to order from there again.

Love the authenticity of their food! It is consistently outstanding. The prices are great. Absolutely love dining in or taking out. The portions are wonderful. Love eating here!

This review has been a long time coming. One of the best places to get enchiladas. Their spicy, red sauce is perfect. Never had a bad experience and you are always made to feel welcomed. You just can't go wrong.

So happy to be close to this place. Everything we have ever ordered has been great. Love their chips and guac, as well as queso. Their signature creamy chipotle chicken is fantastic!!!

My wife loves the Creamy Chipotle Chicken, I had the Vegetarian California Burrito, both were excellent. Second time here... We need to make this a regular stop!

The food was delicious! The chips and pico de gallo were fresh and crispy. We ordered the enchiladas del mar... Fill with crab and shrimp with this delicious green sauce and melted cheese. The service was amazing

BEST THERE IS!

I don't give this praise out easily, Tortugas has been my favorite Mexican restaurant for over 10 years and has never failed me. Dine in or take out from here is always superb. Great value, consistent hard working owner and consistent kitchen staff all tell tale signs of a well run business. The kitchen is run very smoothly and food is delicious.

This place has such amazing enchiladas! You can not go wrong with the shredded beef & roja mild sauce. The atmosphere is family friendly and fun. Bathroom and restaurant always seems clean.

I LOVE Tortugas. I had them cater my graduation party and people still talk about it being the best food they had at a party. We’ve been eating here for over 10 years and everything is always consistent. I recommend this place to everyone. The BEST salsa and chips. My favorite is the steak fajitas - immaculate. The wait staff has never been great but it’s hard to find good help.

We have been coming to Tortuga's for years. The food is outstanding, the service and atmosphere is very good. It's not easy to find local restaurants that have authentic cuisine, but Tortuga's is that place.

Had the Tijuana trifecta of burritos and chimichangas. Mexican rice. Black beans. Everything was really tasty. It was gone in no time with zero leftovers. Highly recommend
