Matones Music

Been going to Matones a few months now since we've been building our record collection and it's by far the best record store in the area. Huge selection of all genres, including a lot of used metal! We've found some really awesome gems. And, if you can't find what you want, they will order it for you no problem! Going to Matones is one of our favorite activities, we love grabbing some records and talking to everyone in the store. Seriously, go to Matones.

Great selection and variety! I have purchased what I know I like but also have been able to branch out and try some new stuff. Everything is clearly marked with premium on the walls as well as a huge cheap selection for days you just want variety. An owner who let's you do your thing who also has tremendous knowledge across all genre's makes this a go to spot for a local feel knowing you are getting taken care of by the best. Limited presses, bootlegs, rare vinyls as well as the service of getting what you want ordered for you truly makes this a place to call home for vinyl collectors.

Go to this store,Go to this store,Go to this store!!! Nice clean store, Real nice selection of everything. Both new and used. Great Metal section and even used used metal. Everything labeled. Got some great stuff and talked to the owner about a record cleaner one of the spin ones compared to ultra-sonic. Gave me a honest answer instead of just going for a sale of what he had there. I live about a hour away and will definitely be back many times in the future for sure !!!

P.S. He was on the phone at one point while i was browsing and I noticed him still take the time to welcome someone into the store. More businesses need this practice.

Matones is absolutely loaded with new vinyls, along with one of the best bargain bins around (love a good $5 fill-up!). Almost every genre you can think of is represented and you can't beat the prices to boot. If you're out hunting Vinyl in the Philly suburbs, you've got to stop in Adam's shop and take a couple hours to look through everything - you're always going to find something to take home!

First time there on Saturday 5/13 and walked out of there with 6 new records as part of my Mother’s Day gift from my fiancé :) We will definitely return to snag up some more goodies!!

The gentleman working there, maybe the owner, was very sweet and kind as our toddler was out with us and doing toddler things haha.

Great record shop right in my back yard. Adam really knows his inventory and always makes the best recommendations. Lots of stock, new and used always coming in and I always find a gem.

MaTones is the best Record Store in the Greater Philly Region! The owner is friendly, super knowledgeable, and has created a great culture for folks to come in dig through vinyl and talk music. If you don't find what you are searching for, MaTones is always willing to help hunt it down for you. Great mix of new and old vinyl, everything is well labeled, great mix of genres, well organized with RSD events. The store has a steady flow of various rare, hard to find, collector albums. It is always worth checking MaTones first if you are looking for a particular album on vinyl. Seriously, this store is the best in the region!!!

Adam has an amazing shop! I wish I lived closer; I'd be here weekly. Matones had an awesome selection of metal and a great representation of rock music. The shop was clean, organized and welcoming!

I found two rarities and left looking forward to my next visit.

What a sick selection!!! I was visiting from Boston and went in here to look around and found some beautiful limited edition vinyl from my favorite band. So stoked about my finds!

Outstanding little shop in the heart of Collegeville. Sane prices and some pretty eye-popping rarities. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, Adam will order it for you right there, before your eyes. The bins are always full and alphabetized. No smoking so your LPs never smell like a rancid ashtray. It is small, but cozy and there is abundant, free street parking. There’s even $1 & $5 bins for the less discerning collectors. If you’re looking for audio equipment, he’s got stacks of turntables & receivers and even speakers that are priced to move. Matones is also a notable Record Store Day participant.

This is a great shop, quite possibly my favorite. Never disappointed when stopping by even if I make only a small purchase. Great selection to chose from. Wish I lived closer, I would definitely be there all the time!

If I was 50 years younger they'd be kicking me out of here every night. Adam has a great store and was good to work with selling some of my old vinyl. You could spend hours in there.

I've never seen anyone look so happy at work. Fair pricing - both buying and selling. Great variety and a fun place to browse (and buy).

This was one of the better record shops I've been to in the area. In the top bins are all new vinyl and relatively current. The lower tiers are all older and more obscure final that is extremely low cost. A great record shop!

I recently got back into vinyl record collecting and this is now my go to store. The condition of the used records in the main racks is excellent and are cleaned prior to display. I appreciate that each record has an anti static inner sleeve and a clear plastic protective outer sleeve. The prices are very reasonable.

They had the best prices and I was getting my very first records and it was awesome compared to places I previously were at so this was the best record shop I have seen so far and it was very authentic like you know it’s awesome
