Biryani City

Biryani City was an excellent restaurant. I couldn't find any other place nearby that stayed open until 10 pm. It was my first visit, I was welcomed by Mr. Manoj, who provided exceptional assistance. Our food arrived within minutes of placing the order and was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Overall, the service was outstanding.

The food was really good. But I would recommend them to put spice level like numeric way. Like 1-5 that’s how we could tell what number of spice we want rather than two options only mild or spicy. But overall everything was really good specially chicken biryani and chili chicken.

Really good food not costly. So definite choice if u want to eat under 12-15$.

The biryani was absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. It's a great place for a casual dinner with friends or family.really my family liked the most of delicious food.

What a revival of sorts!
Was the Go-to place for biryani when we started living in the area 8 years ago. But the food and the consistency nosedived over years that it had fallen off our list for a good couple of years.

However call it 'old times' favor, we tried it again earlier this year. The consistency is back and more importantly the biryanis' taste is back too being possibly the best Hyderabadi biryani around.

The place does not have regular service post Covid and the wait times are long even on takeouts. But given the taste, that is an acceptable tradeoff. Welcome back BC!

Tried this place for the first time as I was visiting PA on a business trip. Got their lamb biryani, shrimp 65 and the badam milk. Firstly, one of the best Indian food I have ever had. Biryani was fantastic with great quality, good amount of meat, great flavor and good food portion. Also, tried the shrimp 65 for first time, it was lovely and really well made. The chef has real magic in his hands. Lastly, their badam milk was fantabulous, very thick and the taste was great. Loved having it after dinner and this is definitely a must place to visit. I would definitely buy from this place if I'm visiting again PA. ❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏👍👍👍

I had a fantastic meal at Biryani City Restaurant. the taste was just as delightful. and the service was excellent. Definitely a must-visit for anyone craving authentic biryani.indian foodies love it.

Very nice food and service! Very traditional India food, if you visit Norristown don’t miss this restaurant, you won’t regret!! Chicken 65 is the best!

The food is top notch and always very tasty, especially the biryani. We came today for the dosa and it did not disappoint! Very crispy, large size, and delicious masala potatoes, coconut chutney, sambhar, and tomato chutney. Was very filling!

We are glad to have a local restaurant that can make such nice and big dosas! We also ordered lassi, chicken lollipop, and goat biryani, all were very flavorful and delicious.

Service inside was self service though so you have to go to the counter to order and food will come to you. You have to ask for the water, plates, and utensils.

Came with my friends after work and we really enjoyed! Food was great and had very good portions and the guy at the front was super kind and helpful! Will definitely be returning <3

Great restaurant! We just went with our family of 5- the food is great and generous! It’s more of a takeout type restaurant however, they do have indoor seating. Nonetheless, you get great South Indian food esp the masala dosa is top notch!

I ordered food for 75 people from Biryani City Norristown for my daughter's 2nd birthday party. Sudheer helped me with the order, he was just amazing from food items selection to delivery. He took personal care with the food preparation and made sure all the items were liked by everyone. Quantities were also really good for the amount they charged. Chikku Milkshake and their biryani is top notch. I definitely recommend these guys for a memorable party.

Super yummy. The menu is an interesting blend of classics and new interpretations.
It's entertaining as well. I mean actually fun to read while also being super helpful in explaining dishes with detail. As avid fans of many cusines, but first time here, we found new dishes and old favorites that were all delicious.
Every dish from the samosas, to appetizers, to entrees, sides and breads were delicious and fresh. Each dish was available in 5 spice levels, being new to the restaurant we went medium all around and were quite satisfied with the balance of flavor and spice.
Charming and clean with linen napkins and water carafe at each table and also today's best Bollywood video hits on continuous roll. We were relatively early for dinner and as the tables filled in around us, the staff opened another large room already set for guests.
First time here, and our server was somewhat inattentive, maybe unsure or distracted, and did not seem to know the menu nor the tablet device he was using to take our orders. willing to give that a pass as perhaps he was new and all other staff were incredibly pleasant and timely.

Great halal Indian restaurant with authentic and very flavorful food. The decor and space are well done and sets a very comfortable family vibe. Biryani portions are good enough to share among 2-3 people. So happy this exists in Norristown!

Finally, got to try this place I had heard so much about! The chicken biryani and my mango lassi were great! We came for lunch. Our waiter, Manoj, was very friendly and invited us to sit down even though no one else was sitting at the time. We will definitely be back again!

Found the most authentic Indian🇮🇳 food outside of India after 3 years in a U.S 🇺🇸suburb.
The food was super delicious, large portion, right spices used, great price, good sides, good selection of food items on the menu and local drinks like Thumsup.

Mygodddd such a yummy and tasty food😘😘😘😘 Would have given more than 5 of it was there... 1st time in Philly having such a wonderful rose milk and mango lassi... price is very cheap for the quantity they provide. I paid for Lunch but taking a ToGo box that has quantity for next two days. Omygoddd. Taste is dammm good and yummmyyy. All together a total fantastic place to try.

Tried out Tawa Pomfret Fish fry, it was really good. One of the best tawa fish fry I ever had. Goat biryani was really good,

Naan chicken butter curry was good too.
Overall I highly recommend this place.

Btw this is self service restaurant with very average ambience. I recommend to try takeaway
