Kurinji Indian Cuisine

Very great Indian restaurant. Stopped by this place during my business trip. Loved the atmosphere and the customer service. I tried the authentic chicken korma and mutton gravy with malabar poratta. Very great taste and loved how flaky poratta was. I will be visiting pa again and very excited to try new dishes at this place. I'm a big fan of biryani, that's in my wishlist when I visit this place next time. 👍👍👍👍😄😄😄😄

Really great spot for Indian food. Staff and owner are all very nice and very quick to help when needed. Menu has a solid amount of variety as well. Food came out quick and tasted excellent. Definitely a new go-to place to grab South Indian food in the area!

We recently had them cater for our son’s wedding welcome party at the Alloy hotel. Was very nervous with Indian food catering since all items taste the same with the same masala in most Indian restaurants. They did a fantastic job with the food that was cooked on site in the hotel kitchen. The appetizers (wide selection) were excellent and especially the chat stand with a variety of pani puri, dhai puri and Bhel Puri and not to forget the cool mango lassi to compliment the various other drinks. The main meal was unique with a southIndian flavor with no garlic (on request) and the flavors were not the same masala in all dishes. The butter chicken and lamb dishes were a big hit. The desserts (3 different ones) were very good and especially the young and old alike devoured on the gulab jamuns. Overall the service and food was excellent and will highly recommend talking to the owner Karthik to get things going. Got value for our money.

Really good indian food. South indian flare. Super friendly staff. Pretty nice ambience on inside. We got chilly fish which was really good. Bhel puri was decent. Goan shrimp was definitely a go to. Chicken tikka masala was good. Only complaint was it wasnt our level spice (wish it was spicier as their hot wasnt really hot to our kids) but thats preference thing.

If you are looking for a restaurant with calm ambience, warm customer service and a slightly refreshing menu on the eyes, then this is a place to visit. Great location for a peaceful lunch, good for family dinners. The food - whether it is Biryani, Dosa or Kofta will not disappoint you. It will not be your best meal ever. Theres plenty room for improvement in the menu variety as time passes. But the personal attention provided by the owner's adds a special touch and justifies the rating for this restaurant. I wish them good luck, hoping the quality and variety of food only ever rises and they can treat the customers with ever increasing hospitality and delicious South Indian food.

Since I can't get Chicken Kothu Parotta in my area, I made the trip to Kurinji and it was worth it. A decent portion served with raita and salan...Excellent ! We also ordered the Tandoor chicken which comes with mint chutney and served on a bed of capsicum and onion.. Also excellent !

Staff was friendly and food arrived in a very reasonable time.

Authentic South Indian restaurant. I have had food multiple times it never failed to impress. Visited again recently after a short break, it was fantastic. In fact my colleagues who are not from South India have become a fan now.

Wow! Upper Dublin is lucky to have Kurinji in town. There has been an Indian restaurant in this Giant supermarket shopping center for years, and this is the best iteration by far; both the North and South Indian dishes taste more like they’re made by one’s mother or ‘auntie’ rather than typical restaurant fare. Pictured below is a scrumptious dosa I shared with my wife New Years Eve; it was so good, we came back to the lunch buffet the next day (which had 40+ Indians in attendance!) 😊👍 Also, the kitchen did an excellent job accommodating my wife’s request to make her dish less spicy. Highly recommended!

I don’t know how I missed this place till now, ordered food online, went in well welcomed by the owner himself karthik, what a great person, we talked a lot about Indian food, he gave me suggestions next time to try, everything I had ordered was 100. % great and it’s coming from a guy who loves Indian food, definitely trying more and more times, I can’t really understand the negative reviews I saw, I can say definitely those are absolutely wrong try the food first and then rewiew, to my non Indian friends if you don’t like it spicy ask them to do it mild I bet you guys would never regret it great food once again thanks karthik bhai

Thanks for the authentic Indian dishes. Savouring them for a moment I felt I was at home in India. The gulab jamuns in particular were so very delicious

Ample parking, nice spacious clean place, decent staff, great delicious food & ofcourse great variety.
You must try this place.A physician in a hospital talk highly about the place & for a change to experience in Diwali we drove 30 min, it was all worth.

So far I’ve tried the butter chicken (hot and medium) the medium hot was perfect for me. So delicious and creamy. Also had the garlic naan and 🤤🤤

Came here with a friend for lunch during our work day. We were greeted by friendly staff and seated immediately. We ordered Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Biryani, and Garlic Na'an. The food was served quickly! We ate family-style, meaning we shared the dishes between us. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. There was a complexity to both dishes that many other restaurants lack. Spice levels were perfect. Portion sizes were generous. Prices were reasonable and on par with other restaurants in the area. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Easily the best Indian cuisine I've enjoyed in 15 years. I will definitely be back.

Regarding the atmosphere; it's fine. The dining room was clean. No complaints. Why are people complaining about pictures and lights? We're not visiting the palace. We're here for the food, people.

Experienced best authentic South Indian food after long time.

We have ordered a "Thalappakatti mutton biryani" in Kurinji Indian Cuisine and its more Authenticate taste as it's taste same like Original "Dindigul Thalappakatti mutton biryani" in Tamilnadu. One of the delicious Biryani we ever ate in any of the Indian restaurants in USA. Biryani "Quality, Goat Meat Quality and Authenticate taste" is very much consistent in Kurinji Indian Cuisine, since after tried some times & now only posting this review & given 5 star rating (Could have given more than 5⭐'s if there is an option 😊)
Also their "Vijayawada boneless chicken Biryani & Tandoori chicken" as well so delicious.
