I needed to find a really good reliable used car for my sister. I went to many car lots and returned to Dileo's were we bought a 2002 Ford Taurus with 39,000 miles on the clock. The car is in very good condition and was checked out by our mechanic who said this was a great buy. Marc Goldberg was very polite and attentive. He was honest informative. Our mechanic said the car should have the windshield wipers replaced and not only did Marc offer to replace them he gave us a full tank of gas. Wow! The car was price right on the window, he lowered it another $500 to make it possible for my sister to be able to buy the car. I highly recommend Dileo's.

The A/C in my car wasn’t very strong, so I bought one of those “recharge” cans. My father in law was the one who put it in, and he ended up over-filling it. It went from blowing partially cold to not cold at all. The pressure was at 100psi in the red. I saw YouTube videos on how to let out some pressure on your own, but I really didn’t feel like getting frostbite or blinded by refrigerant.

I went to a random mechanic on my way to work, “Clark’s Auto Repair” to be specific. I told them the situation and asked if they can just let out some pressure for me. The woman told me she has a machine that does it and all she knows how to do is completely evacuate all of the refrigerant and re-fill it, costing me $150. I asked why she couldn’t just stop a few seconds into the evacuation process, releasing just a tiny bit of pressure to solve my problem. She said she doesn’t know, the machine only works one way.

I then drove to the next mechanic closest to my work, Dileo’s Auto Service. I explained the issue and he told me I could do it myself. Appreciating his honesty, I told him I understand that, but don’t feel safe doing it. He said he could do it. He had me pull my car up, pop the hood and they did the rest. They hooked it up to a machine checking the pressure and released enough to get to a healthy level. The A/C instantly started blowing cold. He only charged me $20.

I couldn’t be happier with the service. I had no appointment scheduled, I just showed up at 8:45am during a busy morning, and the owner was able to get my issue resolved immediately. Instead of attempting to rope me into a full A/C repair or a long expensive process, he first let me know this is something I could do myself if I was willing. I can’t speak on how this shop would handle large scale repairs or diagnosis, but based off of my situation and experience today, this mechanic shop is great!

After several weeks of looking for a vehicle, I decided to buy from Dileo's. Why..they care and can answer question or any concerns .
Elliott is very knowledgeable in his cars. Prices are reasonable. I love my prius. At first I thought, what did I get myself into.
But Elliott was kind enough to explain the function of the vehicle of the Prius.
