The HI Fade Barber Shop (KA’IMI KUTS)

Visiting from the mainland and needed a cut badly. I looked up a few places and this one seemed to "check all my boxes" if you know what I mean. Since I was on the North Shore, it was only a 20 minute or so drive and I'm so glad I made this decision. The barbers were friendly, and had great conversation as all great shops do. Prices are normal so they aren't trying to overcharge people! I highly recommend this shop!!! 🙌🏿

Kala’i is the best!! He made him self available, scheduling was super easy! He took his time! Price was really affordable. If you are ever need a haircut but don’t have time let Kala’i know!

To all my Hauula, Laie, Punaluu man/boy friends, go check out Kaimi Kuts Barber Shop next to the 7-11 under construction. The owner is a 22 year old Kahuku Grad who is so talented.

They are awesome! I don't usually post reviews but I need to give them props. I made an appointment and it didn't come through on the new system but the old system.I would have walked in, but it was COVID rules so I had to wait outside for them to call me in, and I'm way patient and a little bit of introvert at times, so I waited for more than half hour, until a barber came out to get a customer and I showed them my email confirmation and we figured out what happened (facebook's fault). They were awesome and rescheduled and offered me a discount. The time we rescheduled for I had an online class where I needed to listen in. They said it was no problem and as it turns out, it was not a problem. They worked around my headphones as I was in class. They didn't have to do that and they did. They are great. Fantastic place! Fantastic people! Kind, understanding, and good at what they do. Will be going there again!

One of the joys of this experience is they actually cut your hair the way you want it cut! exactly the way you want it cut! If you want to talk, they'll talk. If you don't want to chit-chat, they just cut hair. It's barbershop heaven. The shop is clean! The barbers are clean-cut and they operate the business in a business-like fashion.

I was visiting the North Shore from Colorado and needed my hair re faded. I found this barber shop and they were very easy to work with, really friendly. My barber Kala’i gave me a really nice fade and I was well pleased. Definitely recommend this barber shop. Whether you’re a local or visiting. 5 stars for sure.

While visiting Hawaii for time away I needed to get a haircut. I am extremely particular of how my hair is groomed. I checked out other reviews and called this establishment and got an appointment within the hour. The business is clean and the barbers are very professional. The haircut I must say was high quality. These guys know how to cut hair. I was totally satisfied with the service and quality. When I Hawaii try this business. Awesome!!!!

Hands down, the best haircut I've had in a long time. Made an appointment the day prior online and was seen by noon the next day. Staff was super friendly. Elias was my barber and he knows how to cut hair. I told him exactly what he wanted and he surpassed expectations. Line up was crisp. The low fade was on point. I'm coming back to this side of the island to get my haircut.

The guys here are so unbelievably nice. I usually just book whoever is available, and I’m nervous when I get someone new but the cut always is consistently good no matter the barber. All of the barbers here have great intuition and are seriously skilled.

Fa’afetai lava to Stevie A for giving my teenage son such an awesome haircut & fade. He was super welcoming & personable. He did an amazing detailed job in that he took his time using both trimmer & scissors as well made sure everything was even & lined up properly. The upper back massage after the cut was an added bonus!! My son & I both had a very positive pleasurable experience; everyone in this place was so nice & friendly!! We will for sure be coming back to shop whenever we stay in Lai’e.
