This was an unexpected find, a real local place, simple folk simple fare, menu on the board. Promp, friendly service with good food. I had the club sandwich, chips, A&W root beer and chicken noodles soup all perfect... As a "tourist" you might feel a bit out of place, get over it you are. This is a good place to taken in the local color and suport a real local business. Will definatly make a stop back when in town...

One of the oldest home cooked delis still available in this area. Friendly atmosphere. They treat everyone like family. I use to go here with my nana when I was a little girl and it's the 1 place that I can feel like I'm still in my hometown when I visit.

Recently moved temporarily to Coal Township , and found this little gem of a restaurant by accident yesterday. Went inside for lunch , I had a delicious BLT sandwich and probably the best ever Ham & green bean w potatoe soup! This is my new fave lunch time stop while I'm staying in town. No more fast food or pizza for me here in Coal Township , only wish they were open on Saturdays.

Always friendly and fast service. The food is excellent and hot. I've never had to send my order back for any reason.

Had chicken and waffles and it was some of the best I've ever had. Friendly staff. Would recommend eating there anytime.
