We had a wonderful afternoon feeding the fish, seagulls, and ducks. Weather was beautiful. We also enjoyed an ice cream cone from their little tasty freeze and gift shop where we bought our bread to feed the fish. Clean and friendly.

This is a great experience for kids of all ages. There were plenty of fish there at the middle of August. The geese are a little crazy though and some bulley others, typical geese.

We were the only people there for about an hour. It was so peaceful, even with all the birds.

This is a wonderful place to take the kids. The love to feed the fish. It’s free. There is a little shack that sells food, drinks and s souvenirs. There is a public restroom also. It’s a fun place to go.

For the first time in my life, there were no fish in the spillway. Fortunately, I had a video on my phone from a previous visit that I could show to our guest and others visiting from overseas.

This is a really neat place to go and see the carp. They’re huge! They love being fed, so be sure to grab some bread and feed them. It’s beautiful here, the views are amazing. Plenty of parking available as well as handicap parking.
There are bathrooms and a little food shop & eating area. We didn’t get any food, but it’s there. As well as a shirt and souvenir vendor. Which may have been a part of the shop. I’m not real sure as we didn’t go up to it to look. Lots of seagulls and geese when we were there. I’m sure they are always there, as the banisters are full of droppings, haha. Definitely take the kids when ya go, they’re sure to be amazed! There’s soooo many carp and they’re so big and some of them have big eyes sticking out. Be sure to walk the whole way down around to the actual spillway, it’s amazing seeing all of those carp.

We took our kids up to feed the fish. They have been here before but this was my husband and I first time. It was so fun to feed the fish. I think we ended up buying about $30.00 worth of bread from the store to feed the fish, geese, ducks and seagulls. Throwing the bread up to the seagulls had to be the funniest part for myself. Deff will be coming back again to feed them! The video posted was about $8.00 worth of bread we dumped in to get the fish rolling!!!

Took my mom and nieces and nephews to experience this little gem. There isn't a ton to do here, but if you're looking for a cute little lunch on a dock and something fun and still kind of chill, to do with your family - this is the thing! It's a unique, couple hour, experience with your kids, or even make it a romantic one with your partner if he/she is into nature. We fed and observed all of the Carp in this little bit of the lake. There are so many!! It's really neat to see. We also fed the ducks and geese. Anyone who loves nature will enjoy this experience and there's a little food stand, with ice cream, and picnic tables to enjoy a nice lunch out if you want!

Come feed the carp, geese, ducks, and sometimes catfish! Fun quick stop for the whole family. You can purchase feed at the gift shop for really cheap. There are refreshments for sale and restrooms if needed.

A nice little area for fishing or a stroll. There's a concession stand. Several people were feeding the fish and ducks. A great spot to bring the kids for ice cream. Don't forget to bring the bread.

A fun place to take the kids. It is open all year long, but the concessions shop is only open during warmer months. Therefore, be prepared by bringing your own bread for the fish, ducks, geese, and seagulls.

Friggin awesome. The fish were slow in December and could not quite keep up with the ducks, but they gave it a try.

I grew up in the area. Always a fun place to visit and watch the many carp fight over bread Was surprised to see a few cormorants hanging out. I'm glad they spent the money a few years back to redo the area. I'm also very glad there are plans to rebuild the nature center. It was one of my favorite places to visit.

This place is a site to see for sure if your in the area. The carp are insane! You can buy a loaf of bread to feed the ducks, geese and fish for $1. They go crazy for it to. Beautiful view as well.

What an amazing opportunity to take yourself or your little ones to a once in a lifetime event. Here you can see so many fish... I mean crazy amount or carp on top of carp. See pictures and videos I attached!! It's like no other spillway or fish feeding place you have seen. I cheap loaf of bread can make for an amazing time here. The kids find this to be a fun time, as the fishing voice inside me keep saying "let me just drop my pole 1 time!!!". These fish jump all over each other for food. While the ducks and geese fight each other as well as the fish for the feeding frenzy!! This is a non fishing area. Its a reservoir.. its been around back in the 1800's, but not built for this purpose till the 1930's! Take some bread, buns or whatever you have and experience the fun and craziness!! A must see tourist stop if in the area!! Highly recommended!

Definitely a great family spot! So many carp to see. The kids really enjoy seeing the fish and the birds. In season there is a snack bar that even sells bread to feed the fish.
Parking has never been a problem. And you can easily fit on a visit while passing through the area.
I would suggest buying day old bread before your visit. You can easily go through slot of bread feeding the fish.

Probably the best source of family fun in the area. Buy or bring your own bread, and toss it to the carp swimming below. There's also ducks, Canada geese, and purple martins there too.
