i live a good 40 minutes away so i dont get to come to Hope & Coffee often but i cant recommend this little cozy cafe enough, so when i get to swing by its a highlight of my day. always a pleasure being able to stop in. i have yet to have a bad drink from here, and its such a cute place to just sit and enjoy a coffee. not too many places like this anymore! also love the little treats and cookies they have. super reasonably priced for absolutely delicious drinks, & always quick and pleasant service! they also have this cute little punch card to keep track of purchases and get a free coffee (:

Absolutely my favorite coffee shop!! I have yet to find something I did not like!! Even my coworkers are addicted to everything I bring in. And if you like smoothies then this place is a must-try!! The homemade pastries are always perfection!!

I've lived very close to the coffee shop for years, and I got around to trying it today. All of the workers there were so lovely. I love the look of the place and how they have boardgames and comfortable seating. It's a super cute shop with a lot of room, and the drinks are very very good.

Absolute best coffee I’ve ever had. The workers are incredibly friendly and funny, and they’re honestly the heart of the place. It’s an amazing atmosphere with wonderful people and grade A coffee. I don’t think there’s a better place around. <3

They were super friendly. But so loud. Not a quite place to have a cup of coffee and read a book. The very lovely ladies there were basically yelling the whole time. Can't be upset at people's joy. I was paying through so it doesn't really affect me. But if you want a quiet coffee shop on a Saturday morning, this is not it. Good coffee tho

Such a loving homey place. Great selection of coffee and food. This is a must stop if you are within a 50 mile radius of Tamaqua. Forget it 100 mile radius. Lol live music on a Saturday morning hit the spot and the theme of recovery throughout is beautiful.

A small charming coffee shop in downtown Tamaqua. I'm from out of town and came by for a few lattes and bagels in the AM. They were excellent and the baristas were excellent.

I parked on the street and was in and out in about 10 minutes. I'll be sure to go by there again.

Beautiful place, roomy and cozy at the same time! Plenty of seating in small rooms throughout the house. Tasty drink. Friendly folks, too, even during a super busy time. They have an art gallery as well! I grabbed this cutie. Great way to support local business and artists.

What a truly welcoming and gorgeous coffee shop! Very spacious, very clean, and so nicely decorated. Above all though, is the service. The staff are so thoughtful and kind, and it really shows how much they enjoy their jobs. I went in to this place during a very hard time in my life when I had to give up coffee and caffiene and the girls there were able to make me an iced chamomile tea that I now love and look forward to. The people that frequent this place are also genuinely good and kind individuals, and my partner and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. I think it is such a beautiful thing to have this wonderful coffee shop here in Tamaqua, that not only makes great beverages and food, but advocates so strongly and compassionately for mental health and recovery. What a sense of community! We NEED a place like this! Thank you!

I went here for some coffee after my college's coffee machine refused to work right. This was my first time here and the staff were very helpful in helping me find out what kind of coffee I wanted (I wanted to step out from regular plain coffee). The place is also very clean and cozy. Most importantly, the coffee was amazing and in my opinion pretty cheap

Beautiful atmosphere. It’s so cozy and welcoming. The food and bevs are great. The service is warm and courteous. I can’t wait to go back when I’m in the area again & shop for some art!

Go for the coffee, stay for the paintings!

Driven past for years en route to The Mahoning Drive In and finally stopped. I've been missing out! Not only was the coffee delicious, the staff and atmosphere was so incredibly welcoming. The paintings for sale were fantastic as well. Looking forward to stopping here often during spring and summer. Will be back in two weeks for sure!!!

Met my family here before my parent’s burial and it was the perfect spot to connect over coffee and just be relaxed for the day ahead. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The coffee here is fantastic! Provided by March Chunk Coffee Co., if you enjoy fresh roasted, rich and flavorful, this is your place. But beyond the great coffee, the building itself is lovely. Remodeled and restored with original floors of incredible workmanship, this store has all the charm one would HOPE for from a coffeeshop. Go check it out for yourself.

Today was my first time going to Hope & Coffee, but it certainly won't be the last. Aside from the admirable mission of the organization, the atmosphere is great as well. It's got all the look and feel of your mainstream coffee places, but with a much more personal touch.
The mocha, which is what I ordered for myself is great, and my colleague is raving over the bacon egg and cheese bagel as well as her hot cocoa.

I would definitely recommend a quick stop in the morning if you're in Tamaqua.
