Having discovered a water leak in my car last week I was referred by a friend to Joe Thurs Automotive. I had a sunroof drain tube that had failed. After they diagnosed the problem they came to find out that the replacement part had been discontinued. They proceeded to fabricate two new drain tubes, install a new one on each side, and put the headliner back together as if it had never been disturbed. All done in a timely manner and at a fair price. Steve at the service desk and Joe the owner each very customer friendly and a pleasure to deal with. I 100% recommend Joe Thurs Automotive. They genuinely care about the work they are doing. A much better experience and value for your dollar than you will receive at any new car dealership.

Took my Audi a6 in to Joe's for suspension issues. Car drives like new again. I'm happy to have finally found a garage that is reliable and I can trust.

We have a 2002 Cadillac with the V-8 North-star engine, we had a blown head gasket. We checked all around within 250 miles of this location and we found a few garages that wanted to charge $10-11 thousand for replacing the engine with Jasper rebuilt unit after a 2-3 month wait and no one wanted to fix our engine head gasket locally.

We found one garage in the mid-west that said they would repair our head gasket for at least $5,500 but that was over 2,000 miles from our home....

Joe gave us a price estimate of $1,000 less (and they are local).
We dropped the car off and it was fixed quickly in 8 days. All problem areas were fixed and we have our car back again to enjoy!

I called Joe Thurs just to ask if they can fix my husband's windshield wipers. They broke right in the middle of a storm. Even over the phone Steve went (what I thought) over and above. He informed me that some windshield wipers were on a recall list. He gave me information that saved us over $200.00, and during these times you need all your pennies!! My first time here and meeting Joe. I actually showed up early for my appointment because I was unsure of the garage location. To my surprise, his garage is VERY easy to find! Joe was great about it and took my car right in for work! He did a great job and even found something that might have become a bigger problem in the future. I will be rescheduling to get that fixed, and in fact will be going here from now on with all of my cars!!! So nice to finally have a great mechanic that I can trust!!! He not only listened to what I had to say, he took the extra time to show me and walk me through a quick inspection of my truck; just to provide me with extra reassurance. Called Joe on his personal line well after hours regarding transmission trouble I was experiencing on my drive home from work.. Needed my vehicle diagnosed and fixed within a day for transportation to and from work in the winter weather. Joe made my vehicle a priority.. diagnosed and fully repaired my Jeep in less than 20 hours knowing I needed it back the next day in order to make my lengthy daily travels. My Jeep was no easy fix and a lengthy repair.. Fully repaired and running like new. Can’t thank Joe enough for his endless quality service to his customers.. I walked in and met the owner Joe and he took my vehicle right in. He diagnosed the problem very quickly, explained everything to me and ordered the parts. I found myself in need of a battery change on a Friday after 5 PM. I called Joe, he said come right out! He was waiting at the garage door for me. Had me all done and ready to go in 10 minutes!!! Keep in mind a few other places I called said they were closed or closing and that the battery change would take about 40 mins. I had such a great experience with Joe! Would highly recommend him!
