Great campground! Location is easy to get to, RV sites are wooded and roomy, owners are helpful and the lodge (camp store) is well stocked. The nature trail is a great hike and the bubbling creek through the campground is nice. There's even an arcade with lots of different games for the occasional rainy day.

What a great place! A very well thought out campgrounds. Sites were nice. The store is also very well thought out, if you forgot anything they probably have it. Owners are very nice and friendly. Campground is reasonably priced. Would definitely go back!
Plus if you're looking to go off-roading it's a very short ride from the campground.

What a great place and their staff is incredible. Very clean bathhouse, super friendly atmosphere, and they decorated the entire place with Halloween items. Will definitely go back again.

Service was great. They brought firewood directly to our campsite. The store was stocked with anything that you could need or might've forgotten to bring with. There was coffee for $1. There's a nice pool and a sweet arcade.

The only things I didn't like were the grill and the road near the campsite. We don't do much grilling so maybe that's on us but it was a little weird to use. Our food still got cooked. It is right off of a road where there's frequently trucks, so if you're looking for somewhere extremely quiet, this might not be it.

Best place for camping in the area. We have been here many times and never had any problems. Unlike other camp grounds around, I won't mention any names here, but JUDY knows 😉. The sites are level and well maintained. We are looking forward to our next trip in a few weeks and we are hoping the list is a little shorter for a seasonal site 😀

we booked 3 sites here to camp with our friends. here is my experience..

overall: yes, I would stay here again.

pros:
- level sites : for being on a mountain these sites are more level then they are on flat land.
- great amenities : pool, playground, welcoming lounge, dog friendly, etc.
- small : i liked the cg was small. it had a more mom and pop feel vs a big chain establishment.
- clean showers / bathrooms
- owners were nice and welcoming
- prices in the shop were not too outrageous and they pretty much had everything you need there.
-activities
- picnic bench in good shape

cons:
-the main road - the trucks going up the hill are LOUD at night/early AM. the weekday seemed a bit worse then the weekend. if you have an RV you can kinda drown out the sound by using the fan - however if you're a tent site person your site would be closer to that road so keep in mind. CG has no power over this tho obv.

we really liked staying here and would Def go back if there's another race in the area

One of the best campgrounds I've been to. Great hosts, it feels like home away from home. I've only rented the Campers on site, but I hope to have my own next year to frequent the campground and enjoy all the activities during the season.

This is a really nice campground. I hesitated a bit to give 5 stars, as there is one drawback. They are located close to Rt.25, which is frequently traveled by heavy trucks in both directions. As such, they use their low gears and jake breaks regularly, which is noisy. Campground can't control that, so if you don't mind that part, it's easily a 5 star. The non-seasonal trailer sites are on the small side, but well laid out and easy to back in to. Plenty of trees, and a nice nature trail on site. Staff are very nice and they have a well stocked store. We had a site near the creek, which we could hear the water in spite of the road noise. Good location to visit Knoebels Amusement park, wineries, etc.

Very pretty. Lots of trees. Lots of trails. We had a 29 ft camper and pulled thru with our large truck and didn't have to unhook. Would stay again. Price 53.00 per nite. Aug. 2023.

Nice place! I like it being just off the interstate too. Staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Lots of seasonal campers but all was quiet and clean.

We stopped by here for one night and were greeted like we were family. The campground is one mile off the main road but you would think that you were out in a deep woods. There is a pool which we saw people enjoying and the little camp store is by no means little it's huge. The only downfall is there is no internet.

Great campground if you are into campground camping, stayed here tent camping last year, super friendly staff and super clean place to stay . Only reason for my 4 stars is that the tent sites are close to the road and your site is all driveway stones , no grass to lay down the tent , all the nice site's are camper and permanent sites . But the pool and arcade are awesome. Highly recommend this place.

All the comments about truck traffic, hills and braking, and owners is true. Steep hill, truck traffic, and nice folks checking you in. But had a beautiful shady back-in with full hookup for my 40 footer. Site on the side of the hill and was amazingly level. Good roads in but crowded at the entry with u turns for folks on the western side. Make sure you give yourself plenty of turning room for the right turn into the eastern side...it's pretty narrow. Most utilities look to be mid site or closer to the front.

This was an overnight stop for us in our 38' Class A. If you are coming from the interstate, take heed of the speed warnings. The entrance to the campground is on a road with a 9% downhill grade. Even in low gear, my brakes were getting quite warm.
The park is awesome, as are the staff. The sites were level, clean and gravel. There appear to be a handful of permanent residents but there are plenty of daily rental sites. Sites were well set up with utilities easily within reach and water quality was good. The camp store had everything you could possibly need, from locally grown and butchered meats to fishing worms.
While there, we visited the Pioneer Tunnel, a steam locomotive ride with some local history and a tour of a coal mine. Highly recommended.

This is our second year staying at Camp-A-While. We ride dirt bikes and a sidexside so we spend the summers here to be close to FRO for riding. We will back again next year. We also RV full-time so we want a place to just enjoy weekly living and Camp-A-While provides that as well. It's a nice quiet campground. They have a nice pool, game room, volleyball, horseshoes and the nature trail. You can also try your luck at fishing in the pond....not sure you will catch anything to big but you know how fishing stories go 😆. The owners Rob and Michelle are so friendly. The campground store is well stocked with anything you might need
Stop in for a night or more you won't regret it!

Michelle was awesome! Great stay. Wish it could of been longer. We did stay in the cabin as we had our RV.
