I bought a bow press that he was selling for one of his customers. His customer bought it before finding Andrew's Archery. After meeting Dave and having him work on his bow he decided he didnt need it. Going to that level of effort for a customer says alot.
He and I spoke for about an hour about various things including bow tuning, setup, string build, and arrow building. There wasn't anything that he couldn't speak about intelligently which is a breath of fresh air after talking to most dealers.

Advised a young hunter to go there and have his draw length set on his Bear Legit. He was told he don't work on that kind of bow. I only work on Mathews he said. A good archery shop can work on any kind of bow, just like a good mechanic can work on any kind of car. Place is a complete joke, I'd throw the arrow at the deer before I would ever go there.
